ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Andy is awakened at 4:52 in the morning by a phone call from his mother, Joyce.  Excited that her adult son is coming cross-country for a visit, Joyce has forgotten the three-hour time difference.  Not receiving an answer, she leaves the first of many voice mails her son will delete that day.  As Andy gets dressed, packs for his trip, and begins his travels, he receives message after message from his mother.  Her next call is to ask if he wants specific food from the store:  "Honey, it's Mommy.  Do you like Greek yogurt?  It's all the rage."  Next, she calls because she forgot to tell him how proud she is of his new business venture: "My little Donald Trump.  I'm so excited to see your sweet face."  Finally, she calls to tell him where she will park when she picks him up at the airport: "Hi, Andy.  It's Mommy.  Last call.  Oh, I may go to the Gap today, so let me know if you need slacks or a scarf or anything, you know.  I got you a pass for the gym if you want to do Pilates with me."

Andy and Joyce are driving cross-country in an economy-sized car.  Andy looks nervously at the sky: "It's getting really dark, isn't it?"  Andy, regretting his decision to exchange the SUV he had reserved for the tiny car he is now driving, hopes it isn't going to snow.  Joyce, confidently: "Honey, we're in Tennessee.  It doesn't snow in Tennessee."  In the next scene, the sky is pitch-black, snow is piled on the road, and the wind is sending flurries of snow to fall on the freeway.  Andy struggles to maintain his concentration while his mother chats endlessly, rummages through the backseat, and gives him driving pointers.  Andy, his knuckles white on the steering wheel: "You're not being helpful!  You're distracting me!  Just sit down!"  While Andy mutters to himself about not getting an SUV, two semi-trucks flank the tiny car, spraying snow over the windshield and blocking Andy's sight.  Joyce screams, fraying Andy's already thin nerves.  Just then, they get a flat tire and Andy determines to pull the car over.  Not noticing the semi in his blind spot, Andy jerks the wheel to the side, cutting directly in front of the huge truck.  When the truck swerves and blares its horn, Andy yells: "Oh, we're gonna die, Ma!"  They are able to pull over safely into a parking lot, where Andy continues to mutter to himself: "This is what you get for driving cross-country in a skateboard."

Andy, annoyed by his mother's incessant nagging, has just told her off in an extremely insulting manner.  Shocked and hurt, Joyce responds to her son's remarks: "I can't do anything right by you, can I, Andy?  Go ahead, keep insulting me.  'Cause you haven't made it quite clear just how much you can't stand to be with me!"  Believing her son to have moved cross-country to escape her, Joyce asks him why a relationship with her is so intolerable: "What did I do wrong?  Did I care for you too much?  Did I love you too much?  What did I do?"  Andy, feeling guilty, wants to end his mother's tirade: "Okay, Ma."  Joyce, still stinging from his painful remarks: "It's not okay!  This is the way you talk to me?  Like I'm some thing that has to be tolerated?"  Joyce walks across the room to get in her son's face: "Well, let me tell you something, kiddo.  You don't have to like me or spend time with me.  But as long as I'm your mother, you will treat me with respect!"

Andy and Joyce have just enjoyed an entertaining lunch with their new friend, Ben.  (Joyce won a free meal by eating a 4.5 pound steak with all the trimmings.)  As they walk to their cars, Ben expresses his pleasure in meeting them both.  Shaking Andy's hand, he asks him for a moment alone with his mother.  Ben, dripping with down-home Texas charm: "I hope this isn't being too forward, but when I see a woman eat like that, well, it just makes a man want to stick his neck out."  Ben asks Joyce if he can take her out to dinner the next time he's in New York for business.  Joyce, flattered but embarrassed: "The thing about dating...it's just so uncomfortable, talking and eating with someone you don't know."  Ben: "Well, some would argue that that's actually how you get to know someone."  Joyce, smiling: "Yeah...you could argue that."

After a week-long road trip, Andy and his mother are flying out in separate directions, each back to their own towns.  Andy looks almost apologetically at his mom: "This week really didn't go how I planned."  Joyce is pleased by the time she had with her son: "Oh, sweetheart, it went better."  Joyce tells Andy that the time she spent with him showed her how much he really did care about her.  She didn't care that Andy's plans to reunite her with her old boyfriend failed: "It's like Anita always says.  When it's meant to be, it's meant to be."  Joyce has realized that she wasn't meant to be with her old love because, if she had been, she never would have had Andy as her son.  Joyce: "I was meant to marry your father.  Don't you see, Andy?  It was always you.  You're the love of my life, baby.  It will always be you."  Andy smiles.  Joyce, trying not to cry, begins to take her leave: "Just remember one thing.  If all the boys in the world were lined up and I could only pick one..."  Andy interrupts, knowing what his mother is going to say: "I wouldn't have let you pick anyone else, Ma."
