The ScreenVue Vault is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

The Vault first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free Vault access.

The Vault offers 16,000+ Movie Ideas and Movie Views from a variety of movies and resources. 

The Vault saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!  

(*The Vault does not sell or rent entire digital copies of movies to download. To purchase or rent entire movies, please access services like Amazon, Apple or Fandango).

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 5,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  are part of the Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

ScreenVue is an international organization headquartered in the United States, with offices around the world. As such, many of our systems and online services are employed globally.

When you purchase licenses or services from ScreenVue, we will require only the personal information that is necessary for the administration of your account with us.

When you sign up for CVLI/ScreenVue’s licenses or services, you may provide some or all of the following:

- Information about the licenses and subscriptions that you purchase from us including your method of payment.

Our websites contain links to other websites. When you leave a ScreenVue website by linking to any of these sites, you are subject to the privacy policy of those sites.

- Personal data that you freely provide about yourself that is relevant to the nature of the interaction, such as your name, username and email address. 
- Details of the emails you open, and links clicked.
- Your comments in forums and feedback from surveys.

- We encrypt all data that is transferred electronically using the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)

We cannot guarantee the security of any email provider or online service which is not managed by us, and which you use to transfer data to us.

ScreenVue works with reputable service providers who may process your data to perform business functions on our behalf. These include Google Analytics, MailChimp/Mandrill, SurveyGizmo and others.

All such service providers are contractually required to keep your data safe, use it only for the purposes agreed, and delete it when it is no longer required. They have agreed not share it, nor use it for their marketing purposes.

ScreenVue would like to share potentially valuable or interesting information with you and, from time to time, ask for your feedback via online surveys.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 5,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key. 
- In the USA, to gain access to the Vault, please upgrade to a *Total Producer package* by calling: __1-888-771-2854__.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas and Movie Views?"__
- The Vault offers TWO different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View. 
- *Movie Views*: Has the "TV icon," where you can instantly preview content you’re considering from embedded links streamed directly on the Vault site from a studio’s official YouTube channel.

__"Why can't I download a Movie Idea or Movie View?"__
- We do not have permission from the studio owners to offer downloads for Ideas and Views. Instead, use the cues listed in the upper, right hand corner of a Movie Idea in tandem with your own copy or rental, or preview a Movie View. 

- The Vault offers two different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details. 
- *Movie Views*: Has the "TV icon," where you can instantly preview content you’re considering from embedded links streamed directly on the Vault site from a studio’s official YouTube channel.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- The Church Video License has made recent modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__
- Before using Vault content, please check your country’s Authorised Producers List to confirm the content is covered (all Vault content is covered in the USA).

The horrible dragon Smaug has been awakened and has vowed to destroy the village of Laketown.  The helpless inhabitants of the island settlement cry out in fear as the huge dragon swoops down and breathes his fire over the town, setting a large portion of it on fire.  All those who own boats have taken to the water in an attempt to evacuate before Smaug destroys everything.  The Master of Laketown has loaded his own boat with all the treasure he can find and his servants are rowing as fast as they can.  A poor old woman on her knees reaches a pleading arm out to the Master for help.  His gold-laden boat glides past her without slowing.  The Master, looking at all the suffering townsfolk around him, cries out unconvincingly: "If only we could take more of these poor people with us!  But they're hardly - -"  He is interrupted by his henchman, who finishes his remarks in a more honest fashion: "Worth it.  I quite agree."  He stops to kick off a person clinging to the side of the boat.  The Master looks slightly horrified at his servant's words, but his actions prove that he feels the same.  In a moment, the Master's boat collides with another and his mound of gold begins to spill into the water.  Master, horrified: "My gold!  My gold!"  Henchman: "We're carrying too much weight!  We need to dump something."  Master, smiling: "Quite right, Alfrid."  He pushes the unsuspecting man into the water.

Bard and his young son Bain are trapped in the watchtower of the burning town.  The evil dragon Smaug stares angrily at Bard, the only man in the town who has been brave enough to try to kill him: "Who are you that would stand against me?"  Bard, undaunted by the dragon's fierce and burning gaze, picks up his bow to fire his last remaining arrow.  Seeing that the bow is broken, the dragon is amused.  He mocks Bard: "What will you do now, Bowman?  You are forsaken!  No help will come."  Suddenly, Smaug spots young Bain and gloats: "Is that your child?  You cannot save him from the fire.  He will burn!"  Bard, ignoring the dragon's threats, stretches the string from his bow across the platform.  Young Bain is made to stand and support the arrow so Bard can aim it.  Bain quivers and shakes, frightened, the arrow resting on his shoulder while his father draws back the string.  Bard: "Stay still, son.  Stay still."  Smaug, still uttering his threats, lets out a ferocious roar.  Bain, terrified, turns to look back at the beast, changing the direction the arrow is facing.  Bard, calmly and encouragingly: "Bain.  Look at me.  You look at me."  Bain turns back, ignoring the danger behind him and staring into his father's eyes.  Smaug launches himself at the watchtower.  Bard aims and fires, striking Smaug squarely in the heart.  The dragon falls to his death.  (Caution: images may be frightening for young children)

The rest of the group of dwarves have arrived at the ruined castle and are searching for their fellows.  When they call out into the cavernous ruin, Bilbo comes running, warning them to leave immediately.  The dwarves, confused, ignore the warning.  Bilbo, trying to explain why he believes the place is dangerous: "Thorin.  He's been down there for days.  He doesn't sleep.  He barely eats.  He's not been himself.  It's this place.  I think a sickness lies on it."  While Bilbo is talking, Fili's eyes are transfixed, drawn toward a room emanating a golden light.  The others are startled when Fili suddenly begins to run into the depths of the castle.  Following him, the dwarves find themselves standing in an enormous room filled with gold.  Thorin stands among the mountains of coins.  Thorin, his voice filled with awe: "Gold.  Gold beyond measure.  Beyond sorrow...and grief."  Although the dwarf has already spent days inside the treasure room, his wonder is not diminished.  Smiling, Thorin opens his arms to his fellow dwarves: "Welcome, my sister-sons, to the kingdom of Erebor!"

Galadriel, Saruman and Elrond are at the top of a cliff, surrounded by darkness.  Suddenly, the evil Sauron appears in a cloud of flame, surrounded by his Nazguls.  Speaking in the black tongue, Sauron tells the three that the world as they know it will be destroyed.  Just as the Nazgul are about to attack, Galadriel rises, her body an eerie blue.  She holds up her hand, which contains a force of pure light.  The Nazgul are thrown backward by its power.  Galadriel, her voice unnaturally deep, speaks in authority: "You have no power here, servant of Morgoth!  You are nameless!  Faceless!  Formless!  Go back to the void from whence you came!"  The cloud of fire appears to implode, sucking Sauron and the Nazgul into oblivion.  Galadriel collapses to the ground, exhausted.  (Caution: frightening images)

Gandalf, unsuccessful in his attempts to dissuade the elven king from attacking the dwarves, tries to convince Bard to seek peace: "Do you agree with this?  Is gold so important to you?  Would you buy it with the blood of dwarves?"  Bard doesn't like the idea of war, but he thinks the dwarves will surrender without a fight.  Just then, Bilbo arrives, assuring Bard that a dwarf would never surrender.  The three enter Thranduil's tent to again argue for peace.  This time, they have something to bargain with.  Bilbo gives Thranduil a beautiful, priceless stone, telling the elf that the dwarves would trade anything for it.  Bard, to Bilbo: "How is this yours to give?"  Bilbo tells them that it was his earned share of the dwarf treasure.  Bard, astounded at Bilbo's sacrifice: "Why would you do this?  You owe us no loyalty."  Bilbo: "I'm not doing it for you."  The hobbit admits that, although dwarves are hard to like, he has come to love them: "I've grown very fond of them, and I would save them, if I can."  He tells the elf that the trade would eliminate the need for war.

While the armies of men, elves, and dwarves fight the evil orcs, Thorin and his band of dwarves are safe inside the mountain, guarding their enormous treasure.  A dwarf approaches Thorin, who is seated on his throne.  He begs the king to help their fellow dwarves, who are dying out on the battlefield.  Thorin appears not to hear him, instead, he thinks aloud, wondering how he can make his gold safer.  The dwarf continues to plead: "They're being slaughtered, Thorin!"  Thorin, coldly: "Many die in war.  Life is cheap.  But a treasure such as this cannot be counted in lives lost.  It is worth all the blood we can spend."  Dwarf, disgusted: "You sit here in these vast halls with a crown upon your head, and yet you are lesser now than you have ever been."  Thorin, furious, draws his sword, demanding respect: "I am your king!"  Dwarf: "You were always my king.  You used to know that once.  You cannot see what you have become."  Thorin, slowly: "Go.  Get out.  Before I kill you."  The dwarf, unable to recognize the man that once was in the greedy miser before him, turns and leaves.

Thorin walks through the great hall of his forefathers, the master of the largest treasure-trove of the land.  Suddenly, he begins to hear words spoken to him over the past days, and also words he himself has spoken.  Voices: "He could not see beyond his own desire!"  "A sickness lies upon that treasure."  "You are changed, Thorin."  "Is this treasure truly worth more than your honor?"  While he is surrounded by the golden light of his treasure, a different kind of light begins to dawn in Thorin's eyes.  He begins to realize that he has been in bondage to his own greed.  Suddenly, Thorin's eyes are opened and he sees what has been hidden under the treasure all this time.  The dark shadow of a serpent slithers under his feet.  Thorin watches, from outside himself, as he falls down, sinking into the golden floor.  He hears Gandalf's prophecy in his head: "This treasure will be your death!"  Thorin sees himself trying and failing to escape from the mouth of the treasure.  He cries out as he is completely swallowed up.  As the vision passes, Thorin takes the crown from his head and flings it to the floor, renouncing the treasure that had become his master.

Thranduil is leading his army of elves away from the battlefield when he encounters Tauriel blocking his path.  Vehemently, she orders the elf ruler not to abandon the dwarves to their doom.  Coldly, Thranduil reasons that, being mortal, they will die eventually anyway.  Disgusted, Tauriel arms her bow: "You think your life is worth more than theirs when there is no love in it?  There is no love in you!"  Thranduil knocks away her weapon and draws his own sword, pointing it at her chest: "What do you know of love?  Nothing."  The elf argues that Tauriel's love for a dwarf is not real.  Thranduil: "You think it is love?  Are you ready to die for it?"

Thranduil finds Tauriel grieving over Kili's dead body.  Tears streaming down her face, she looks up at Thranduil, pleading: "If this is love, I do not want it.  Take it from me.  Please!"  Her voice breaking, Tauriel sobs: "Why does it hurt so much?"  Thranduil: "Because it was real."  Tauriel bends down, kissing her love goodbye.

Bilbo arrives back home in Bag End to find a line of hobbits carting away his possessions.  A neighbor greets Bilbo by name, in a friendly manner, but his smile quickly fades: "You're not supposed to be here."  Bilbo: "What do you mean?"  Neighbor: "On account of you being presumed dead and all."  Bilbo: "I am not dead.  Presumed or otherwise."  Bilbo begins to stalk away, but the neighbor calls after him: "I'm not sure that's permitted!"  Bilbo continues on the path to his house, finding a large party gathered at the entrance, auctioning off his possessions.  Bilbo quickly approaches the auctioneer, shouting: "Stop!  There's been a mistake!"  A woman well-known (and even related) to Bilbo confronts him: "Who are you?"  Bilbo: "What do you mean, who am I?  You know perfectly well who I am, Lobelia Sackville-Baggins.  This is my home!"  Lobelia glares at Bilbo, who snatches back his spoons from her basket.  The auctioneer stops Bilbo: "If you are indeed Bilbo Baggins..."  Bilbo, stunned that his friends and neighbors are denying the evidence of their eyes in order to hang on to their false belief, points at his own face and looks around at the group.  The auctioneer continues, asking Bilbo to prove his identity.  Stunned, Bilbo pulls an official document from his pocket, showing it to the man.  Reluctantly, and with a certain measure of surprise, the auctioneer agrees that Bilbo must be himself.
