ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

A rickety platform towers hundreds of feet up from the ground.  A large sign is posted in front of it, reading: "STOP.  OFF LIMITS."  Drac, with young Dennis on his shoulders, leads a group of his friends up to the top of the platform.  Everyone except Drac and Dennis are terrified of the extreme height of the decrepit structure.  When they arrive at the top of the platform, Drac balances on the wobbling planks and looks into his grandson's eyes: "Who's ready to fly?"  Dennis, excitedly: "Me!  Me!  Like a superhero!"  When Frank and the others express concern about the danger of Drac's plan, he responds testily: "Quiet.  This is how they learn.  You throw them and they figure it out.  It's how I was taught."  Still ignoring the protests of his friends, Drac tosses little Dennis off the platform.  Frank, Murray, Wayne, and Griffin watch in terror as Dennis speeds towards the ground.  But Drac isn't even looking and wears a confident smile on his face, sure that Dennis will figure out on his own how to fly.  As the boy rapidly drops toward the ground, Murray and the others keep Drac posted on his progress: "He's still not flying.  Still not.  This is a tall tower.  He's going to fall to his death.  You should get him."  And Drac responds to each comment with complete certainty: "He's taking his time.  He will.  It'll happen."  Finally, Dennis's excited whoops change to screams of fear, but still Drac is insistent that the boy will succeed on his own.  Murray cries out: "He's getting too close to the ground!"  At last, Drac realizes they are right: "You know what?  He's not gonna fly."  Dropping all pretense at composure, the worried Grandpa jumps off the tower and speeds toward the ground.  He catches Dennis just in time to prevent the boy from hitting the ground.


Dracula and his friends are teaching young Dennis all about being a monster.  Drac tells Dennis that Murray (the middle-aged mummy) is going to show them all how to conjure up a terrible sandstorm.  Murray, looking surprised: "It's been awhile."  But Drac is insistent, so Murray sucks in his large belly and tries to assume the strength he had in his younger years.  Chanting fake Egyptian words, Murray begins a strange dance, contorting his rounded form into all sorts of positions.  His loud voice echoes ominously throughout the forest and the tension builds as it seems as though a sandstorm is really about to begin.  Suddenly, Murray stops mid-contortion, resuming his normal voice: "Ow.  My back."  He collapses to the ground, stiff with pain.  A tiny pile of sand plops down beside his head.


Dennis finally grows his fangs and protects Winnie from the monster Bela.


Mavis and the family have fun at the werewolves' birthday party.


Johnny has just accidentally revealed to Papa Vlad that he is a human.  Papa Vlad is horrified: "You're not a vampire?"  Johnny's father wipes the monster makeup off his own face: "Of course he's human.  He's our son.  You think we're monsters?"  Vlad gasps in shock, pointing an accusing finger at Dracula: "You!  You let your daughter marry a human and have a human kid?  Why don't you just put a stake through my heart?"  Dracula: "We don't hate humans anymore, and they don't hate us."  Several other members of Johnny's family wipe their makeup off, trying to show Vlad that humans and monsters can be friends.  Vlad stares angrily at his son: "You're a fool!"  Dracula: "Your great-grandson is the sweetest, kindest, most special boy I've ever met!  And if you can't give him the love he deserves because he's half-human, then you're the fool!"


Dracula excitedly shows his young grandson, Dennis, around the summer camp he went to as a boy: "This is where I learned to catch mice and shapeshift and use my incredible powers and strength.  Is pretty cool, huh?"  Dennis smiles, pointing at some kids playing badminton.  Drac frowns a little, remarking that they didn't have that game when he was young.  Just then, they are greeted by a soft-spoken, extremely polite camp director: "What can I do you for?"  Dracula explains that he's interested in sending Dennis to camp: "Can you show us some of the drills, like where they catch the mice?"  Dana, smiling: "Can do.  Of course, now we call it Tee-Mousing."  Drac appears confused at the new name, until Dana shows them to the mousing field.  Instead of teaching the kids to hunt mice themselves, a camp counselor holds a cage full of mice and places them, one-at-a-time, on a tee-ball tee.  The kids line up and take turns picking a mouse from the tee.  Absolutely no skill is involved or required.  Dracula's face falls: "So, they don't have to catch the mice?"  Dana, pleasantly: "Nope.  We find this is a good way to build their confidence."  Drac's scowl deepens as Dana takes them to the next activity - - learning to fly.  Drac looks up at the old, rickety tower he jumped off as a kid and his face brightens: "There it is, Denisovich, where Papa learned to fly!"  Dana, directing Dracula's attention away from the tower: "Uh, yeah.  We're over here now."  Dracula turns, seeing a toddler-sized play structure next to a huge inflatable mattress.  The kids (who are all wearing safety helmets and harnesses), jump off the 2-foot platform, where a camp counselor with a net and the huge mattress are waiting to catch them if they fail to fly.  Dana, explaining: "Had to scale it down.  Insurance."  Drac scowls again.

Dracula and the family celebrate Dennis's birthday.


Wayne gets distracted by a frisbee and fails to kill a deer. Then, Mavis discovers the wonders of the mini-mart.


Mavis and Jonathan are about to go on vacation for the first time without their young son, Dennis.  As they prepare to leave, Mavis stops to give her father some last-minute instructions on caring for Dennis: "So, it's sliced avocado, rolled oats with apricot, the Aveeno moisturizer after every bath, and - -"  Drac interrupts, having heard this all before: "And then the shea butter on his tush before his PJs and then 20 minutes with the nebulizer while I read his Learning Factory Phonics book to him."  Mavis, still reluctant to leave her four-year-old: "We could just take Dennis with us."  Drac: "What?  Are you kidding me?  And get him off his routine?"  Drac convinces his daughter to leave Dennis with him, but still she worries: "And you remember how to video chat?"  Drac, who isn't terribly comfortable with modern technology: "Yes, yes.  With the phone and the buttons and the agony."  And so, at last, Mavis bends to kiss Dennis goodbye: "I'm just gonna miss him so much!"

Jonathan is attempting to help his old-fashioned father-in-law get with the times.  He has given Dracula his first cell phone and instructed one of the hotel porters to send him a trial message so Dracula can practice texting.  Dracula suddenly jumps, startled, as the phone in his pocket begins to vibrate: "What is that?  What's the noise?  It's on me!"  Jonathan, with a patient smile, pulls the phone out of Dracula's pocket: "Clifton's sending you a text so you can practice how to write back."  The two look across the lobby, where Clifton stands, phone in hand.  Dracula takes the phone and begins to tap the screen repeatedly with his fingernail.  Nothing happens.  Dracula, frustrated: "It's not doing it!"  Jonathan, ever patient, takes the phone back and touches the screen with the tip of his finger, showing Dracula the text he has just received.  He hands the phone back: "Now, you can text Clifton."  Dracula, obviously hating this, reluctantly resumes tapping the screen with his fingernail.  Again, nothing happens.  Dracula, irritated: "How do you do this!"  Jonathan pulls out his own phone for a demonstration: "It's easy.  I'll text Mavis."  With thumbs racing smoothly, Jonathan expertly texts his wife.  Dracula watches, but feels like he'll never learn.  Jonathan: "Maybe you should just get Bluetooth."  Dracula, looking across the lobby: "Okay.  Blue Tooth!  Come over here!"  A large creature in the shape of a blue tooth hobbles over to the two men.  Dracula: "So, now what?"
