ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Burt is running down the street toward his home, followed by a gang of boys from his school.  The leader of the gang is screaming at Burt: "I'm gonna kill you!"  Little Burt, a full head shorter than the other boys, runs as fast as his legs can carry him, but the bullies overtake him and push him against a tree, calling him a twerp.  Leader: "I got you a birthday present.  I got you some bark and you're gonna eat it."  The gang laughs cruelly.  Burt hopes to deflect the coming torture with an ingenious strategy: "Cool.  I was gonna eat bark anyway."  He quickly pulls a piece off the tree and pops it into his mouth, pretending to enjoy it.  Burt: "All the things you were gonna do to me, I was already planning on doing."  His plan succeeds in taking the wind out of the bullies' sails.  Instead, however, they resort to base violence.  Leader, punching Burt in the stomach: "You planning on not being able to breathe?"  Burt, groaning through his pain: "Yes."  The bully pulls Burt up by his collar: "Listen to me, Weinselstein.  Nobody likes you.  Nobody will ever like you.  Do you understand that?"  The gang leaves, and Burt leans against the tree, whimpering to himself.

It is Burt's birthday and he has just arrived home from school.  Finding the house dark and quiet, he calls out to his mother and receives no answer.  On the dining table, he finds a letter on top of a birthday present.  His mother writes: "Happy birthday, little man.  I had to work a double shift again, but I love you very much.  Dinner is in the fridge, and I got you your favorite cake.  It's on the counter."  Burt looks at the counter, seeing only a boxed cake mix.  He continues reading the letter as his mother writes out detailed instructions on how to bake the cake for himself.  He rolls his eyes when he reads that they are out of eggs and so he will have to walk to the store to get some.  His shoulders sag and he lets the letter drop to the floor.  Later, he sits alone on the floor, eating a piece from a birthday cake that reads: "Happy Birthday Me."

In an effort to gain publicity for their Vegas show, Burt and Anton have vowed to spend a week suspended over the city inside a glass box.  With the full blast of the Nevada sun, the box has been estimated to reach two hundred degrees, and the men are in for a harsh week.  Anton immediately sits down to practice breathing exercises to prepare his lungs for the hot air.  Burt, dressed in a suit (against the advice of his producer), mocks Anton: "You're practicing breathing?"  Burt paces around the box, obviously already bored.  Anton thinks Burt foolish for not preparing himself for the arduous task in front of them: "Okay, maybe if you'd come to even one rehearsal - -"  Burt interrupts him: "Maybe you need to rehearse sitting in a box, Anton.  I don't."  Twenty minutes later, Burt has stripped down to his shirtsleeves.  Sweat soaks his shirt, and his hair is a mess.  He pounds on the glass box frantically, begging to be released: "I can't breathe!  I can't breathe!"  Anton, perfectly cool and collected, tries to calm Burt, but his insanity only intensifies.  Ignoring Anton's warnings, Burt continues to throw himself repeatedly against the walls of the box until he succeeds in breaking out the glass.  The box slips and both he and Anton find themselves dangling precariously over the concrete parking lot.

Burt's long-standing business partnership with his childhood friend, Anton, has just dissolved.  Jane, his producer, has come to talk to him about the future of the magic show.  Sitting on the edge of his bathtub, she tells the magician they need to discuss the act.  Burt, showing very little concern: "The show must go on."  Jane sees the difficulties in transforming a show based on two personalities into a solo act and tries to get Burt to understand the problem.  Burt blows a raspberry, showing how little he cares.  Jane: "How are we going to do the show without your partner?"  Burt: "Let me explain something.  I don't need a partner.  I never needed a partner, certainly not Anton.  He was just a weight around my legs.  What did he ever bring to the equation?  Business acumen and ideas and friendship.  Pfft!  Better off without him."  Jane shakes her head: "You really think you can handle it on your own?  Then why don't you give it a shot because I can't watch this."  Jane gets up to leave, and Burt calls after her: "You know what?  I don't need him, and I don't need you!"  Jane, looking back over her shoulder: "Well, good.  Because you don't have either of us!"

Burt has just been fired from his long-standing magic show and is meeting with his financial advisor to take stock of his affairs.  Dom paints a bleak picture for the once-wealthy magician: "You put away almost nothing!"  Burt is stunned: "What about all my investments?"  Dom explains that Burt's investment choices were unwise: "There's your imported Mexican spring water, Aqua de Leche."  Burt: "That was a very classy product.  High-end packaging."  Dom: "It's Mexican water, Burt.  You were selling the promise of diarrhea for three bucks a bottle.  And how about all the millions you put into that hair-brained theme restaurant?"  Burt: "James Cameron's Titanic Cafe was a great idea.  Our only mistakes were:  A, made the floor too slanty, food kept sliding off the plates, and B, did not get James Cameron's permission."  Dom: "Gotta get the permission.  We talked about that."  Dom knows bad investments weren't the only factor in Burt's downfall: "It's your lavish lifestyle.  Don't you understand, Burt?  You spend $75,000 last month on bed sheets."  Burt, whining pathetically: "Are you telling me that I don't have any money?"  Dom hands Burt his last remaining asset - - a savings bond worth $248.  Burt begins to whimper.

Burt, a once-famous magician, is reduced to entertaining at an assisted living home.  He half-heartedly performs a standard card trick for the gathered seniors.  A heckler in the audience makes fun of the entire performance, giving away Burt's moves before he does them.  Burt, angry, approaches the heckler to ask why he ruined the show.  The heckler, once a famous magician himself, points out all the flaws in Burt's careless performance.  Heckler: "People wanna think what they're seeing is real magic, not a magic show.  If you don't believe what you're doing, how are they gonna believe it?  You got no joy in you, son.  You got no passion."

Burt is surprised to find his former best friend at their old favorite restaurant.  Anton invites Burt to sit with him.  They stare awkwardly at each other for a few moments, each trying to think of a way to break the ice.  Burt, almost choking on his emotions: "It's so good to see your face."  Manfully, he tries to hold back the tears, but when Anton offers an onion ring as a token of peace, he breaks down in sobs.  Burt's tears ignite Anton's own: "Oh, Burt."  Burt: "I just missed you so much."  Anton: "I missed you too."  The two men sob through their reconciliation.  Burt: "I didn't think you wanted to be my friend anymore."  Anton: "No, Burt, I'll always be your friend."  Burt: "And I'll always be your friend."  Anton: "I can't tell you what that means to me."  Burt: "Yes, you can."  Anton: "It means a lot."  Burt: "Your friendship means more to me than anything in the world."  Anton, trying to keep from crying: "Burt, stop."  Burt, also obviously holding back the tears: "So happy."  Burt gives up, allowing his sobs to burst out: "I'm so happy."

Steve Gray, well known for his edgy "magic" is performing before a packed audience.  He drinks in the applause before announcing that he intends to perform yet another audacious stunt.  Steve: "I'm a little bit different than the other magicians you'll see tonight.  In fact, I'm not planning on doing any magic at all.  Instead, I want to do a little thing I call:  Drilling a hole in my head."  Steve holds a drill up for the audience to see.  The audience gasps.  Steve's assistant holds a wooden board so he can demonstrate that the drill is in working order.  While drilling into the wood, Steve explains the danger of his stunt.  There is one, single, narrow area into which he can drill and miss all vital areas of the brain.  Steve: "Now, I've been informed by my medical team that I may lose one of my senses..."  Confidently and dramatically, Steve lifts the drill to the side of his head and turns it on.  The audience gasps as they watch Steve drill the hole.  Finally, with one quick push, the drill bit sinks completely into the skull.  One of Steve's eyes immediately crosses.  He jerkily lifts an arm to the audience, saying, in a fuddled voice: "Ta-da!"  Two assistants help Steve stumble off stage, the drill jutting out of the side of his head.  Steve fights against their grasp, trying to return to the stage: "Oh, I left my drill!  I left my drill out there!"
