ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Alex and his friends are on horseback, being pursued by Morgana's evil, undead henchmen.  They gallop along the coastal cliff, trying to escape from the fiery skeletons.  The four reach the end of the cliff, which seems to drop off steeply down to the sea.  Alex, who has seen a sign pointing over the edge labelled "cliff path," directs the others to follow him.  He walks up to the edge of the cliff and jumps.  Lance, horrified: "What's he doing?"  To the other three, it seems as though Alex has jumped off the cliff into the sea far below.  But, with the skeleton crew right behind them, the youths feel they have no choice but to trust their leader and follow.  All three jump.  After a short drop of but a few feet, they land on the cliff path, just as Alex had foreseen.  Morgana's men, mounted on undead horses, leap over the cliff side and plunge into the sea.


Alex and his knights have enlisted the help of the entire student body to fight Morgana and her evil army.  But they must be prepared for the battle.  As such, the students have been directed to a sort of assembly line, where they receive their shields, their armor, and their swords.  Once attired in their gear, the students break out into groups to prepare the school for the assault.  Bedders leads some to the gym, where they rig booby traps.  Merlin leads a group to the parking lot, where they attach contraptions to cars to turn them into battering rams.  And Alex leads everyone in sword practice, teaching the kids to use their swords and shields in battle.


Morgana secretly watches the meeting of the Knights of the Round Table.  She has surrounded the house with her roots of poison, which grow up on the sides like a terrible ivy.  Through them, she can spy unseen.  The young knights have no idea they are being watched by forces of evil.  Morgana, invisible but for the roots, condemns the knights: "How deluded they are."  Her unseen demons echo her words: "Deluded."  Morgana, turning to each youth individually and seeking out their weaknesses: "The boy, Beddersvere, is meek, nothing without his friend."  Demons: "Nothing."  Morgana: "The boy, Lance, is greedy.  He plans to take the sword for himself.  The girl, Kaye, is clever, but callow.  And the boy (Alex) himself, he clings to myth, trusts in lies.  I will prey on their weaknesses!"  Demons: "Weaknesses."  Morgana: "Their faith will crumble.  Their hope will turn to hate.  Their quest will be their doom."


Bedders finds Alex sitting alone at the edge of the cliff, crying.  Alex tells his friend that he has discovered everything he thought he knew about his father had been a lie.  The very thing that caused him to begin his journey - - the book about King Arthur - - hadn't been a gift from his dad at all.  Heartbroken, Alex throws the book into the sea and begins to weep.  Bedders, putting a coin in Alex's hand, says he needs to show him something.  Mimicking Merlin's magical moves, Bedders performs the complicated hand motions of the replicating trick.  (Something which he had tried to do before and failed.)  Alex is surprised to find his hand is now full of coins.  Bedders, excitedly: "I couldn't sleep, so I practiced and practiced, and now I can do it!  I can do real magic!"  Bedders sees that Alex still wants to quit their quest: "You can't give up, it's not allowed!  We're Han and Chewie, Frodo and Samwise.  We can't give up because...look how far we've come!"  Lance arrives and puts a hand on Alex's shoulder: "He's right.  We've survived three nights against the Mortes Milles.  Hundreds of them."  Kaye kneels down and puts a hand on Alex's other shoulder: "You got us here.  You turned us from enemies into allies, just like King Arthur did, just like in the legend."  And Bedders reminds him why they came in the first place: "You drew Excalibur, Alex.  Nothing else matters."


The school bullies, Lance and Kaye, have hung Bedders upside-down in order to steal his lunch money.  Bedders begs for release, but Lance has no mercy: "You wanna survive in this school?  You gotta pay for the privilege."  Coins rain down from Bedders's pockets and Lance begins to scoop them up.  Bedders: "Help!  Somebody help me!"  Just then, Alex walks by and sees what's going on: "Hey!  Let him go!"  Lance, who is at least a foot taller than Alex, just mocks him.  Alex: "I said, let him alone!"  Deliberately, Kaye drops Bedders, who lands painfully on the concrete.  Kaye walks forward to stand next to Lance, sticking out her chin: "Why should we?"  Alex: "Because there's two of you, he's half your size, and he's my friend."  Kaye and Lance feign looks of pity.  Lance walks up to Alex and viciously pushes him to the ground.  Alex lands in a puddle, ruining his science project.  Lance grabs him by the coat, getting in his face: "How many times do I have to tell you?  Don't be a hero.  It's not worth it."

Merlin arrives on the bus and congratulates Alex on surviving his first battle with Morgana's soldiers.  Holding out a hand, he introduces himself to Lance and Kaye: "Sir Lance, Lady Kaye.  A pleasure to make your acquaintance."  Lance, ignoring the hand: "Do us a favor, Mertin.  Don't talk to us.  We're only here for the fights."  Merlin, affronted: "That's hardly the attitude of a knight, young man.  Where's your respect for the Chivalric Code?"  Lance and Kaye stare at him blankly.  Merlin, shocked: "Don't tell me you've never heard of the Chivalric Code!"  Merlin orders the bus to stop and leads the four youths out into a field: "The Code is the cornerstone of a civilized society, the very credo upon which this nation was built.  If you don't know the Code, then this entire enterprise is utterly hopeless."  Merlin leads them to the center of the field and then turns to face them: "The Chivalric Code is the set of rules by which all noble knights live.  Obeying the Code, from the moment the sword is drawn, is what makes you pure of heart.  And only a knight of pure heart can slay Morgana."  Merlin tells them to memorize the four laws of the Code: "Honor those you love.  Refrain from wonton offense.  (Here there is a short break while the youths argue over the meaning of 'wonton.')  Speak the truth at all times.  Persevere in any enterprise until the end."  Merlin, soberly: "Break any of these rules, from the moment the sword was drawn, and your quest is lost before it has even begun."  (Caution: h-word used)
