ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

The creatures of Mars program robots to raise their children for them.  The Martian leader (the Supervisor) is watching Earth via satellite, looking for Earth mothers who discipline their children well.  (The Supervisor will then use these mothers to program their robots.)  Ki and the Supervisor stare at the screen, seeing a mother and child buying ice cream at an ice cream truck.  They see the child throw her ice cream on the ground, stomping and screaming until the mother gives in and buys her two more.  The Supervisor grimaces, moving on to the next video feed.  Now they watch a haggard mother unsuccessfully trying to control two wild boys.  The Supervisor orders Ki to find a different mother.  Finally, they see a mother telling her son to take out the garbage.  The boy initially refuses, but the mother remains strong, demanding that her son obey her.  The Supervisor smiles, telling Ki that they have found what they are looking for.

Milo stands to leave the dinner table, his broccoli sitting uneaten on his plate.  His mother orders him to finish it, telling him that he will watch no television if he doesn't.  She leaves the room.  Milo, noticing the cat, quickly scrapes his broccoli onto the floor.  The cat gobbles it up.  Later, Milo is watching television when he hears the cat retching behind him.  The cat is spitting up the broccoli when Milo's mother walks into the room.  She sees the regurgitated veggies behind her plant and confronts Milo with his deception.

Milo's mother has ordered him to bed for disobedience.  She enters his bedroom and discovers him jumping on the bed.  She angrily confronts him, reminding him of her instructions.  Milo responds disrespectfully. Mom: "Milo!  My life would be so much better if I didn't have to be a nagging mom."  Milo, sulking: "Yeah, well, my life would be so much better if I didn't have a mom at all!"  He sees his mother freeze, a look of hurt on her face.  She leaves quietly, closing the door behind her.  Milo lays down in bed, trying to read.  He dozes and then wakes, a look of shame and regret crossing his face.  He sits up, talking to the cat: "I can't sleep.  I shouldn't have said what I said, should I?  It wasn't a good thing to say.  I feel really bad about it."  Milo hangs his head, looking dejected.  Suddenly, he brightens: "I'm going to go tell her I'm sorry right now!"

Milo has been captured by Martians and is trapped in a cell.  He looks out the window, calling for help.  Unexpectedly, his cell is opened by an unseen helper.  Milo leaves the cell and finds himself alone in a strange corridor filled with metal pods.  Suddenly, the lights in the corridor begin turning off.  Milo starts running, trying to escape before he finds himself in total darkness.  He stops in front of three chutes.  Out of nowhere, he hears a voice that tells him to jump down chute number three.  Milo, surprised, looks around for the source of the voice.  Not seeing anyone, he peeks down the dark chute: "You want me to jump in there?  Why?"  Suddenly, he hears angry yelling as two Martian soldiers begin running toward him.  The voice again tells Milo to jump down the third chute.  Milo, scared, looks from the Martians to the dark chute, not sure which one is more dangerous.  When the Martians arm their weapons and prepare to fire, Milo chooses to trust the voice and dives down the chute.  He speeds down the chute, still hearing the voice, which tells him to relax.  Finally, Milo lands safely on a trash heap in the middle of a gigantic garbage dump.

Milo has fallen into the Martian garbage dump and finds himself faced by an outcast tribe of Martian men.  Initially frightened, he waves his arms in karate-like movements.  Seeing them mimic him, Milo's fears begin to dissipate.  Milo tries to communicate: "I'm just trying to find my mom."  The Martians copy him: "Mom?"  Milo: "Don't you understand?  My mom!"  Milo sees the Martians still don't understand.  He begins to use hand motions, imitating eating: "She's the one that feeds me."  The Martians copy his movements excitedly, but still don't understand.  Milo tries a different hand motion: "She washes my clothes."  Again, the Martians merely imitate the movement without comprehending the meaning.  Milo, making the motions of vacuuming: "She vacuums the house."  Milo is now beginning to get somewhat frustrated.  He tries one more time, making a hugging motion: "She tucks me in at night."  Now the aliens respond differently.  They stop their own movements, looking at each other.  Cooing, they turn towards Milo.  Thinking he wants to be held, the aliens surround him, giving him a group hug.  They stroke his head while Milo yells: "Let go of me!"

Milo has been captured by aliens.  As they escort him through their alien prison, Milo manages to escape with the help of his friend Gribble.  (The two are communicating through Milo's headset.)  Milo runs frantically through the corridors, trying to find a way out of the prison.  He enters a room and barricades himself inside.  Having lost communication with Gribble, Milo panics when the aliens reach the door of his room.  Milo, desperately: "Gribble...help me.  I'm trapped and there's nowhere to hide."  Milo backs slowly toward the only window in the room.  When Gribble doesn't answer, Milo realizes that he will have to save himself.  He climbs out of the window, seeing an almost endless abyss below him.  He dangles out until his toes reach a narrow ledge.  Inching around the building, Milo makes it to the other side just in time to miss the alien searchlight.

Milo tells Ki that he is trying to save his mom from her Martian captors.  Ki reminds Milo that he once wished he didn't have a mother at all.  Milo: "I know what I said, but I was wrong, and I do want her."  Ki, who never had a mother herself, doesn't understand their value: "Why?"  Milo tries to put his feelings for his mother into words: "Because...she looks out for me.  She tells me what to do.  My mom is kind.  She takes me to Disneyland.  She reads to me...and she makes me hot chocolate.  And she puts bandages on my cuts...and she hugs me."   Milo stops walking, a look of realization on his face as he finally understands why his mother disciplines him: "And she loves me."

Milo, Gribble, and Ki are rushing through the Martian city, trying to save Milo's mom.  On their way out of the prison, Gribble sees his friend, Wingnut, trapped in one of the cells.  They stop quickly to release Wingnut.  When he is freed, Wingnut and Gribble embrace joyfully.  Ki, a Martian raised by robots, doesn't understand love.  She watches their embrace, confused: "What's with all the grabbing and squeezing?"  Milo: "It's called hugging.  It's another love thing."  Rushing to resume their quest, the four find themselves now surrounded by freed Martian men.  (When Gribble freed Wingnut, he accidentally opened all of the cells, releasing the imprisoned men.)  The Martian men are watching the security monitors, cooing sadly.  Gribble and Milo see the new Martian male hatchlings on the screen being sent down to the garbage dump.  They realize that with all the males trapped in the prison, the babies will be alone in the dump.  (Male Martians are raised by the male community in the garbage dump.)  Gribble watches the screen sadly: "There's no one down there to take care of them.  The boys are going to be all alone."  Ki, suddenly understanding, turns to Gribble: "And to be alone is to be without the crazy love thing."  Gribble looks at her: "Yeah."
