ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Neo has just learned that the life he thought he was living was really a lie, a computer-generated "video game."  Stunned, he looks down at the plug in his arm, not even sure what to believe anymore.  Bugs: "How are you doing?"  Neo: "If this plug is actually real, that means they took my life and turned it into a video game.  How am I doing?  I don't know.  I don't even know how to know."  Bugs: "That's it, isn't it?  If we don't know what's real, we can't resist.  They took your story, something that meant so much to people like me, and turned it into something trivial.  That's what the Matrix does.  It weaponizes every idea.  Everything that's important to us.  Where better to bury truth than inside something as ordinary as a video game?"


Neo is confused when Bugs tells him the machines did a good job of hiding him: "Hide me?  I've been at a company making a game called 'The Matrix.'  Doesn't seem like they were trying to hide anything."  Bugs: "We've been tracking that company for years.  We screened every Thomas Anderson we found.  What we didn't understand was that they could alter your DSI."  Bugs explains that the machines have learned to change a person's "Digital Self Image."  Who a person thinks they are is not what others perceive.  She moves Neo to stand in front of a mirror and look at his own reflection: "This is how you look to yourself."  She manipulates the program so the reflection in the mirror changes to a much older man: "This is how everyone else sees you."  Neo looks in the mirror in shock, removing his hat to reveal a nearly bald head.

Jude is telling Neo how much he enjoyed playing his first three video games.  Jude enthusiastically explains his interest: "The paradox between free will and destiny."  Neo reaches for his coffee and in his reflection on the table we see him as a totally different man.  Jude, unnoticing, continues: "Are we all just algorithms doing what we're supposed to do, or can we escape our programming?"  Jude remembers how his obsession with the game almost took over his life: "Yet here we are.  You tell me, Mr. Anderson.  Is it free will?  Or destiny?"


Berg excitedly introduces himself to Neo: "Whenever you're feeling up to it, I've got, like, a million questions."  Neo, looking skeptically at the robots entering the room: "Me too.  Starting with them."  Bugs introduces the three synthients to Neo by name.  Neo, startled: "Machines are on our side now?"  Ellster: "Your contact with the Synthient City had a huge impact on their world."  Bugs: "That's what I meant...what you changed that nobody believed could ever be changed.  The meaning of 'our side.'"  One of the synthients, Cybebe, puts its forehead against Neo's, purring.  Neo learns that Cybebe helped to save his life.  He is overwhelmed with the knowledge that his actions turned enemies into friends.


The Analyst has frozen the program, forcing Neo and the others in it to move in slow motion.  Only the Analyst is free to move as he desires.  He walks around the room, explaining to Neo why humans are so easy for machines to control.  Analyst: "What validates and makes your fictions real?  Feelings.  Allow me."  The Analyst moves to a desk and reveals a gun hidden in the drawer.  Laughing, he mind-manipulates the man at the desk to pick up the gun and shoot at Trinity.  As the bullet moves slowly through the air, Neo tries agonizingly to run in front of it.  But, trapped in the Analyst's time warp, he can only move towards it in increments.  While the bullet travels, the Analyst continues to tell how he uses human emotion to power his grid: "You ever wonder why you have nightmares?  Why your own brain tortures you?  It's actually us, maximizing your output.  Here's the thing about feelings.  They're so much easier to control than facts.  Turns out in my matrix, the worse we treat you, the more we manipulate you, the more energy you produce.  The best part?  Zero resistance.  People stay in their pods...happier than pigs in s--t."  Neo continues to try to move in front of the bullet, but his progress is infinitesimal.  The Analyst tells Neo that he and Trinity embody the source of the power: "Quietly yearning for what you don't have, while dreading losing what you do.  For 99.9% of your race, that is the definition of reality...desire and fear, baby.  Just give the people what they want, right?"  Neo watches futilely as the bullet nears Trinity's temple.  Just before it strikes, the Analyst picks it out of the air and disappears.  Time returns to normal.  (Caution: s-word spoken.  To avoid it, end clip at 1:38:25, after "stay in their pods.")


Bugs and Morpheus are awestruck when they realize they are in Neo's apartment.  Bugs: "Most people think that Neo is dead.  But I know he's not.  Because I've seen him."  Bugs remembers back to the days when she was a window cleaner, content in a meaningless life and blind to reality.  But then she met Neo.  Bugs: "It's not something I can explain easily, but...the moment he looked at me, I felt something unlock my mind."  Morpheus nods excitedly, having had a similar experience.  We see Morpheus in his old life, standing in front of a steamy bathroom mirror and getting ready for his day.  He looks at his reflection and suddenly notices something he has never seen before.  He sees that the world around him is just a pattern: "We can't see it, but we're all trapped inside these strange, repeating loops.  Somehow I saw it in the mirror.  Just a flicker, but it was like you said."  Morpheus puts a finger up to the mirror and it sinks into it, like water.  Morpheus: "Suddenly I understood."  Bugs, finishing his sentence: "This is not the real world."


The General addresses her officers: "A few hours ago, no one could have been able to convince me that I would be standing here, trying to explain a mission as crazy as this one."  Without hearing the mission, Bugs quickly steps forward to volunteer.  General: "I need two more."  In one movement, all of the other officers step forward to join Bugs.  General: "Are you out of your minds?  You don't even know what it is."  Sheperd: "General, we know you.  If you say this is important, none of us is choosing to stay home."

The Analyst knows that if Trinity and Neo can make contact, their combined strength will be too much for the Matrix to overcome.  Doing everything in his power to stop the two from connecting, He has deployed dozens of officers in full battle gear to prevent it.  Across the room from one another, Trinity and Neo are trying to come together.  Each of them is being held back by dozens of men.  But as they slowly move closer and closer towards each other, the men are powerless to hold them back.  Screaming in effort, they continue to push their way to the center of the room.  Finally, their hands meet.  A blinding flash of light fills the room and a powerful explosion sends the Analyst and his men flying backwards.  Only Trinity and Neo are left standing.
