ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Will is doing all of the ordinary things that usually announce the start of his day.  The mundane routine of showering, dressing, and brushing teeth seems to allude to a promise that nothing out of the ordinary will happen today.  Will grabs for his motorcycle helmet, but his girlfriend calls from the next room, concerned for his safety: "Don't even think about it!  It's pouring!"  Deciding instead to hail a taxi, Will walks down the sidewalk in the pouring rain, talking on his cell phone to a colleague.  Spotting a taxi across the busy street, Will lifts an arm, taking a step off the curb toward it.  Too late, he hears the roar of the motorcycle engine next to him.  He freezes, a look of surprise on his face.  A loud scream is heard.  The scene fades.

Louisa arrives at her first full day of working with Will full of trepidation.  Nathan greets her, briefly explaining Will's medication schedule and medical needs.  He assures her that most of Will's physical needs won't be her responsibility.  Louisa, looking eager, but confused: "What am I here for?"  Nathan, looking a little unsure himself: "To cheer him up, I guess."  Louisa smiles nervously.  Later, Nathan is gone and Louisa is pacing back and forth outside Will's room.  Hesitantly, she approaches.  Will, hearing her, rolls his eyes.  She greets him cheerfully, suggesting they go on an outing.  Will, not even trying to rein in his sarcasm: "And you thought a drive would be good for me?  A breath of fresh air!"  Louisa, trying a different tactic: "What do you usually do?"  Will: "I don't do anything, Miss Clark.  I sit.  I just about exist."  Louisa, fingering her braid: "Okay.  I could get you your computer?"  Will: "Have you found a good quad support group I could join?  Quads-R-Us?  The Tin Wheels Club?"  Louisa, still determined to maintain her cheery demeanor, suggests they just get to know each other.  Will deliberately turns his chair to face her: "My mother says your chatty.  Can we strike a deal?  Whereby you are very un-chatty around me?"  Louisa's smile slowly fades: "Okay.  Yeah, well.  I'll just be in the kitchen if you need anything."  Will: "Lovely."  She leaves the room, sagging against the wall for support.

Will asks Lou how she ended up working at a cafe.  He's surprised to hear that she took the job on a bet, considering the fact she stayed there six years.  Lou: "I was supposed to leave."  Sheepishly, she tells him she had been accepted at university to study fashion.  Will: "So, why didn't you go?"  Lou, looking uncomfortable, appears unable to come up with an answer.  Will: "You know what I see when I look at you?"  Lou: "Don't say, 'Potential!'"  Will, unflinchingly: "Potential.  You need to widen your horizons, Clark.  You only get one life.  It's actually your duty to live it as fully as possible."

Lou is going about her duties when she accidentally overhears a heated conversation between Will's parents.  Camilla has discovered a letter from a Swiss company that helps people commit suicide.  Will's father, Stephen, has written to enlist their help in aiding his quadriplegic son to end his own life.  Camilla is furious: "I cannot believe that you are willing to help our son end his life!"  Stephen reminds his wife of their promise to help Will if he hadn't changed his decision after six months.  (Six months earlier, Will had attempted suicide on his own.)  With the six months' deadline now looming, Stephen wants to help Will to carry out his decision: "This way, we can be with him, supporting him, loving him."  Camilla, heartbroken: "He's my son!"  Stephen, raising his voice for the first time: "He's my son, too!"  Stephen continues, in a calmer tone: "It's his choice.  This is what he wants.  You know how much pain he's in."  Camilla, quietly, desperately: "He gave me six months.  We can still persuade him."  In response to her husband's request, Camilla lays the letter on the table and walks away.  The name of the company stands out starkly on the folded sheet: "Dignitas."  (Caution: Lord's name used in vain)

Louisa asks Nathan if he knew of Will's plan to commit suicide.  Nathan: "Yeah.  I've been with him two years.  His life is hard."  He tells Louisa that she knows nothing of the daily pain that Will suffers, because he hides it from her.  He suffers from nightmares and memories of the active life he used to enjoy before becoming a quadriplegic.  Nathan: "I can't judge what he wants to do.  That's his choice."  Louisa believes her relationship with Will should make him want to live.  Nathan: "Look, I want him to live, Lou.  But only if he wants to live."

Will has booked Lou a scuba diving lesson.  They stand on the dock, next to the boat.  Lou, wearing full scuba gear, is looking sick.  Will: "Just do it!"  Lou, sounding panicked: "No, I can't.  I can't!  It's gonna be too deep!"  Will, smiling, but firm: "You can.  You can do anything."  Lou, still looking terrified, rapidly shakes her head.  Some time later, a beaming Lou rises up out of the water and takes off her face mask.  She shouts at Will, who sits on the nearby boat: "Why didn't you make me do that earlier?  That was amazing!"  Will: "I don't know, Clark.  Some people just won't be told."  Laughing, she lets out a loud whoop of joy.

Will has just told Louisa that, despite his love for her, he is determined to commit suicide: "I can't live like this."  She sobs, begging him to change his mind.  Will: "I need it to end here.  No more pain and exhaustion and waking up every morning, already wishing it was over.  It's not going to get better than this.  The doctors know it, and I know it."  He asks Louisa to come to the clinic in Switzerland to be with him while he dies.  Louisa, weeping, refuses: "You are so selfish!  You want me to come and watch the worst thing you could possibly imagine!  Do you have any idea what you're asking?"  Louisa runs away, leaving Will alone on the beach.

Bernard, concerned for his daughter, enters her room to find her crying.  Lou, her head hanging: "I tried, Dad.  I tried so hard.  But I failed."  Her face melts into a sob.  Bernard gently takes her chin in his hand, lifting it: "Who says you failed?"  He sits down, sighing: "I'm not sure anyone in the world could ever persuade that man, once he'd set his mind to something.  You can't change who people are."  (The two are referring to Will, who has determined to end his own life.)  Lou, tears streaming down her cheeks: "Then what can you do?"  Bernard, firmly: "You love them."
