ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

As Mack creeps downstairs to try to get the key to Delroy's cage, he slowly approaches the kitchen door.  It glows with a red, ominous light.  An angry roar sounds behind it and two frightened waiters scurry quickly out.  Mack sneaks inside the inner sanctum.  He gasps in fear.  The chef is standing in front of him, back turned towards the door.  His employees are lined up on either side of the kitchen, their dishes held out by shaking arms for inspection.  Twirling a sharp knife in his hands, the chef walks slowly down the line.  Nothing escapes his furious eye.  The trembling cooks wait fearfully, dreading his wrath.  Finally, one perfect-looking dish catches his attention.  He dips his knife in the sauce, tasting it.  The poor cook waits with head bowed and eyes averted.  With a growl and a sudden blow, the angry chef knocks the plate out of his hands, sending it smashing against the wall.  And, with one snap of his fingers, he dismisses the rest of the employees to their work.


Mack and his family are flying south for the winter when they see all the other flocks headed in the opposite direction.  Mack: "Huh.  That's weird.  My inner compass may be a little rusty, but I'm sure we're heading south."  Pam: "Yeah, we are, but why are we the only birds heading this way?"  All too soon, the mallards discover why everyone else fled.  Lightning bursts out of black clouds and the rain falls in a heavy torrent.  The mallard family are huddled together under a leaky shelter, freezing and frightened.  Pam tries to brighten the mood: "I promised adventure and this is exactly what I promised!"  Uncle Dan, bleakly: "We're not gonna make it, are we?"  Pam: "Uncle Dan!"  Dan: "You can tell me.  I'm a big boy."  Pam, forcing a smile: "Things are gonna be fine, isn't that right, Mack?"  Mack, his teeth chattering, reluctantly agrees.  Mack: "This is the kind of thing we'll remember for years to come.  We'll look back and laugh..."  Just then, a taloned claw strikes the ground in front of them.  A bad situation has just gotten worse.


Mack is telling his two ducklings a bedtime story.  Hoping to warn them away from ever leaving the pond, he injects his story full of fearful predators lurking in the outer world.  In his story, two bored ducklings ignore their father's instruction and leave their pond.  They are immediately attacked by a vicious gang of predatory birds and...killed.  Mack, smiling: "They died.  The end."  Little Gwen looks at him with wide, fearful eyes: "That's all?  They're dead?"  Mack: "Oh yeah.  No survivors."  Mom, forecasting nightmares, jumps in and adds a heroic and motherly bird to the story to rescue the two ducklings.  Mack, preferring a cautionary tale, turns the narrative back to the dark side.  Pam quickly tucks her terrified daughter into bed, glaring at her husband.  After the kids are gone, Pam turns to her husband: "Every time you tell a story, Gwen wets her twig bed!"  Mack grins: "That's great!  That means she's learning, Pam."  Pam: "Learning what?  That she should never leave the pond?"  Mack: "Exactly!  Trust me, I'm teaching her very valuable fears.  I should know.  I've lived with them my entire life."


When Pam and Mack set out to escape their confinement, they initially just get in each others' way.  Their progress is impeded because they aren't working together and they don't make it very far before their cage crashes to the ground.  Delroy and Uncle Dan catch their attention: "Hey!  Do it together!"  The two birds demonstrate by dancing together in synch.  Mack and Pam, following their example, tango across the cargo hold.  Now that they are working together, they are making quick progress.  They are just about to hit the button to free the other birds when the chef catches them.  Pam bites him in the nose.  But, before he can retaliate, a tomato hits him in the face.  Now, all the birds are working together.  Led by Delroy and Uncle Dan, the birds launch an offensive attack using produce.  The chef is pelted by so many fruits and vegetables he doesn't get a chance to get revenge on Pam.  The final blow is a squash to the face which both knocks the chef out and opens the hatch of the plane.

Chump is leading her new friends through New York City.  Mack is fearful of flying through the congested metropolis but Chump reassures them.  "Just stick close to me, and everything will be all right."  She takes off into the street…and is immediately struck by a bus.  The mallards watch the feathers settle to the ground, their eyes wide in horror.  Chump limps toward them, cracking her back: "I'm okay."  She takes off again and is again hit by another bus.  She limps back, not inspiring much confidence in her followers.  Just as she is about to take off again, a bus speeds by.  She succeeds in dodging it, leaping back to the sidewalk, where a skateboarder runs over her.  She limps back, amending her initial instructions: "Maybe don't stick too close."


The mallard family is flying south through some clouds when a mysterious red, flashing light begins to show through the haze.  They stare at it wonderingly.  Suddenly, a building appears out of the mist.  They are still marveling over that when other tall structures begin to appear all around them.  They have inadvertently flown into the middle of New York City.  Everything is new and strange to them.  They've never seen a city before.  Abruptly, a series of events throw the ducks into confusion.  First, they are startled by their reflections in a window.  Looking at the window, they miss a crane coming towards them.  They duck through the crane only to touch down on a roof.  They fall off the edge of the roof and find themselves in rush hour traffic.  Cars speed all around them, throwing them into even more confusion.  They enter a tunnel and are chased back out by a semi.  They dive in and out among the pedestrians and finally crash land into a dumpster.

Pam and Mack are caught while trying to escape the chef's cage.  Mack immediately wants to try again, but Pam sags against the back of the cage: "It's hopeless, Mack."  Mack: "No, it's not hopeless!  We can do this!"  Tears fill Pam's eyes as she imagines the worst: "You were right.  We never ever should have left the pond."  Mack: "This isn't you.  You're the adventurous one.  The brave one.  You never give up on anything.  Come on, Pam.  You've proven over and over again that when everything is hopeless, we have to be..."  Pam, finishing: "Optimistic."  Mack encourages her to think positively, to believe that they are going to escape and rescue their kids.  Mack: "We are going to show them that when danger strikes, you do not run from it!  You take a stand!"  Mack, illustrating, stands up.  They are surprised to find they can stick their feet through the holes of the cage and walk.  Pam, encouraged: "We can do this!"


Mack has just refused an offer to migrate with another flock.  His family is deeply disappointed, not wanting to spend another winter stuck in the same old place.  Pam: "I want us to get out and see the world!"  Her ducklings agree.  Mack is stunned.  He can't believe they'd want to leave the assured safety of their pond: "Do you know what can happen on a trip that long?"  Pam argues that it's important for children to experience life fully.  Pam: "I don't want to miss out on life because you're afraid to leave this pond.  This isn't about migration.  It's about adventure!  Seeing what else life has to offer.  Is that a little scary?  Sure.  But, isn't it worth it?"  Mack, seriously: "No, Pam.  Not really."  Pam sighs: "You really need to open your eyes, Mack.  Before you miss it all."


A heron named Erin has invited the mallard family into her home to weather out the storm.  But the mallards, knowing herons to be their natural predators, are on high-alert.  Their fears only increase when Erin hands them a frying pan for their bed, urging them to climb in.  They reluctantly obey, afraid to offend her.  Erin turns down the light, creepily wishing them a good night.  While the herons snooze, the ducks sit awake in their pan.  When the storm ends, Mack and his family attempt to sneak out, but Erin wakes up.  She stares at them frighteningly: "You shouldn't have gotten out of your beds."  She circles them alarmingly: "Nighttime is when predators like to feed."  Mack puts his wings protectively around his family.  Erin, diving towards them: "Let's do this quick!"  After a brief chase, the mallards are trapped and certain they are about to be eaten.  Instead, Erin spears a huge fish that attempts to eat the ducklings.  Erin: "He was about to gulp you in one bite!  Bad fish!"  Mack realizes he misinterpreted the situation: "You saved them!"  The ducklings, trusting their savior, immediately climb into her bed to snuggle in safety.
