ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

JB has just arrived in India and tells Vivek he wants a status report on their operations.  Vivek, sitting down at the desk: "I am happy to inform you that all our plans are running smoothly and on time."  JB: "Great.  Can I see the flyers?"  Vivek: "Flyers are not here yet.  They are at the printers.  We are trying to get them."  JB sighs: "Okay.  How about the T-shirts?"  Vivek: "They are at the warehouse.  We are trying to get them, too."  JB, looking irritated: "Okay, but the equipment that we sent over - - the batting cages, balls, bats - - that's all here?"  Vivek: "Yes.  I'm happy to confirm that they all are here in India."  JB: "But you don't have them here (at the office)?"  Vivek: "No.  They are at the customs."  JB, frustrated: "Okay, Vivek, I need things to run on time and smoothly, but actually run on time and smoothly, not Indian on time and smoothly."  Vivek: "You know, here in India, we do things a little differently than in the US."

JB is talking on his cell phone while quickly finishing dressing for work.  He walks by his guest room, seeing a shrine with burning candles set up on a nightstand.  Continuing towards the kitchen, he finds the three Indian men patiently waiting for him.  Amit greets him cheerfully: "Good morning, JB, sir.  We were waiting for you for breakfast."  JB grabs three Power Bars out of the cupboard and slaps them on the counter: "What's with all the candles, by the way?"  Amit: "That's our shrine, JB, sir.  So we can pray."  JB pours himself a cup of coffee in a travel mug: "Oh, right."  Amit: "Where do you pray, JB, sir?"  JB: "I don't pray.  I work.  And I'm late."  JB rushes into the next room to finish getting ready.

Rinku and Dinesh have come from India to train with Coach House.  The coach gives the boys baseball gloves and tells them to toss the ball gently to each other.  In their native language, the two debate over the purpose of the glove, wondering if it might be to keep their hand warm.  And, when they start tossing the ball, the glove keeps getting in the way.  Neither one makes a single catch.  After they practice catching, they begin pitching practice.  Dinesh pitches first, throwing each ball wildly.  Rinku performs equally badly, with the addition of a strange pitching stance that makes him look like a flamingo.  Later, in the coach's office, JB is venting his frustration: "They couldn't even tie their shoes out there!"  Aash wants the coach's opinion of the boys.  Coach House: "They did everything I asked them to do.  They didn't complain.  They never quit.  They're good athletes."

Amit, Rinku, and Dinesh are doing their morning yoga when they see JB exit Brenda's apartment.  JB shuffles past them quickly, obviously embarrassed.  Later, they are sitting in the car when JB sees that the boys are trying not to laugh.  JB, resigned supposedly to a discussion of his exploits: "All right, go ahead.  Say it."  The question they ask, however, is not the one he expected.  Rinku: "Sir, we need to know when you are going to marry Miss Brenda."  JB: "No, guys, this is not what you ask in America."  Dinesh, confused: "What do you ask?"  JB: "You would say, 'How far did you get with Miss Brenda?'"  Dinesh, even more confused: "You travelled with her?"  JB: "No, no, no.  It's not like a distance.  It's like, physically, like, 'Did you kiss her?'"  The three Indian boys still are puzzled, feeling it inappropriate to ask such a question.  Rinku: "But, that's private, no, sir?"  The boys collectively agree that JB needs to marry Miss Brenda.  JB argues with their logic: "Just because I've slept over at her house doesn't mean I have to marry her."

News reporters and dozens of baseball scouts have gathered to watch two young men from India tryout for the major leagues.  A reporter asks Rinku: "Are you nervous?"  Rinku shakes his head.  The Indian reporter smiles: "Well, you shouldn't be, because all of India is behind you.  We will all be watching, live."  Dinesh suddenly looks sick: "All?"  The reporter affirms that nearly half a billion people will be watching their performance: "We know that you will make India so proud!"  When the time comes for the boys to begin pitching, Dinesh looks around at the expectant faces.  Nervously, he throws the ball wide, overshooting his mark.  The following pitches go from bad to worse.  At the end of the tryouts, the boys are rejected by the scouts, a bitter disappointment to everyone.

Amit, Rinku, and Dinesh have prepared a special meal for JB and Brenda.  Before they begin to eat, Amit suggests they stop to thank God.  They all bow their heads.  Before Amit can pray, JB's cell phone begins to buzz.  Brenda opens her eyes to glare at him.  JB pulls out his cell phone, preparing to answer it.  Brenda wants him to ignore it so they can pray.  JB, however, feels the call is too important: "I have to take this.  It's Aash."  Brenda: "Really?  Now?"  Amit tries to stop him as well: "JB, sir, don't..."  JB ignores him, answering the phone.  Amit sighs.

JB tells Amit to encourage Rinku and Dinesh, who are looking nervous before their pitching tryouts.  Amit stands before the two young men: "All my life, I wanted to be a baseball player.  But I never dreamed it was possible.  You are baseball players now.  Real baseball players.  Now, small boys in India, they can dream to become like you!  So, let's go!  Let's go and let's make JB, Brenda, Tom, our families...proud.  Are you with me?"  He leads them in a cheer for their native India.  Amit: "Hey, brothers, I'm seeing my dream in you.  Your victory, my victory."  The boys head toward the pitcher's mound, motivated to do their best for all those who are now looking to them as role models.
