ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Milly arrives at her doctor's appointment only to be told that she has a malignant breast tumor.  She sits, stunned, trying to absorb what the doctor is saying while maintaining control of her emotions.  He talks about CT scans and chemotherapy while she stares at an ultrasound picture of her tumor.  Later, she is sitting at the dinner table with her husband and two young children.  Unaware of her diagnosis, they eat and joke and talk normally while she stares into space.  Noticing something is wrong, her husband encourages her to eat.  Her daughter climbs on her lap and gives her a kiss.  Milly returns her kiss abstractedly.  That night, while her husband sleeps, Milly lies quietly in bed, lost in her own thoughts.

Now that Milly's hair is falling out, her friends have brought her to see Jill, a professional wig maker.  Now that they have found the perfect wig, Jill runs her fingers gently across Milly's patchy head: "Now, Milly, dear girl, how about we just get rid of all this?"  Milly, surprised: "What, now?"  Jill: "It's all gonna go very soon, darling.  Best avoid the insane asylum look."  Milly shrugs and swallows hard: "Sure.  Why not?"  Excusing themselves to get tea, Jess and Miranda leave the room.  Seeing Milly watch them go, Jill explains: "It's often those watching who find it the hardest."  Silently, Milly stares at herself in the mirror as Jill shaves her head.  The two women joke when it is done, but Milly's laughter blends with tears.  When Jess and Miranda re-enter the room, they smile at the newly-shorn head.  Miranda, staring at her daughter: "It's unfair.  You look so beautiful."  Milly smiles and gives Jill a hug before leaving.  Waiting until her daughter is no longer in the room, Miranda sneaks a lock of her hair, clutching it tightly in her hands.

All over the world, giant chalkboards with the heading, "Before I Die," allow those passing to stop and write down their life's goals.  Kit and Milly pass by one of these in the middle of Milly's fight with cancer.  They stop and pick up the chalk.  Others have written goals like making millions, finding love, and visiting exotic places.  Both Kit and Milly write the same thing: "Fear nothing."

Milly and Jess are sitting in a park, talking about Milly's imminent death.  At first, they joke, wondering if Milly can omit her true age from her gravestone.  Suddenly, Milly becomes serious, looking up at a fluffy cloud moving across the sky: "I REALLY want there to be a heaven.  Is that pathetic?"  Jess: "Not pathetic.  Hypocritical, maybe."  Milly chuckles, knowing she hasn't lived like she believed in heaven.  Milly lies down to get a better look at the sky: "I really want there to be a white-clouds-and-all heaven.  Think they'd let me in there?"  Jess: "Not unless they've lowered the entry requirements."

Milly and Kit are on their bed, their young daughter in between them.  Milly is telling Scarlett how happy she was the day she was born: "I looked at you and I knew I loved you more than anything else in the world.  I looked at you and I made a promise.  I promised that, no matter what happened, I would always look after you."  Swallowing hard, Milly begins to say the thing she has been dreading: "But the thing is, my darling, I won't always be here to look after you."  Scarlett looks troubled: "Why not?"  Milly: "Well, Mummy isn't getting better anymore."  Scarlett: "But I thought that was what the chemo was for, and all the pills?  I thought it was all making you better!"  Milly gently explains that the treatments are no longer working.  Scarlett: "You're not going to die, though, are you?"  She sees the answer on her mother's face.  Scarlett sits up, angrily: "Who's going to look after us?"  Kit and Milly do their best to comfort their daughter, but she is heartbroken: "You might not die."  Milly, kissing her daughter's forehead: "Oh, my darling.  You just have to know my spirit will always be with you."  Scarlett, crying: "What are you talking about?  What does that even mean?"  Pushing away from her parents, she runs out of the room.

Jago is working on an oil rig, far out at sea, when his wife, Jess, goes into labor.  Sitting in his cabin with three of his burly mates, Jago connects to the hospital room via Skype.  With the encouragements of those around her, Jess begins her final pushing.  In the oil rig, Jago and his mates cheer her on: "Push!  Push!  Push!"  With the three men in the background surprisingly absorbed by the drama, Jago roots for Jess: "Go on, baby.  I love you!"  With one final push, the men in the oil rig give a startled gasp.  Jago, his eyes widening: "I can see the head!"  Jess gasps in relief and her baby is delivered.  The tattooed cabin mates jump up and down in girlish excitement.  Jago joyfully watches the midwife hand his baby to Jess.  Jago, seemingly trying to climb into the computer in his excitement: "Hey!  Is it a boy or a girl?  What is it?"  Outside, a huge clap of thunder rattles the oil platform.  Midwife, onscreen: "It's a beautiful baby - -"  The hospital room disappears and an error message pops up.  Jago has lost his connection.  All four men groan in disappointment.

Milly is near death.  Jess has climbed into bed with her and the two friends smile sadly at one another.  Jess: "I love you."  Milly's face crumbles as she begins to cry.  The two women hold hands and smile lovingly at each other.  Sometime later, Jess wakes up.  She looks at Milly and sees immediately that she has died.  Milly's husband, Kit, enters the room and Jess smiles sadly at him.  Getting up, she goes outside to mourn on her own and to leave Kit time alone with his wife.  As she sobs outside, Kit is inside the room, cradling his wife and whispering that he loves her.  On the wall, photos of Milly's friends and family are interspersed with lights and candles and artwork from the children.
