ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Emiko runs to the town hero to warn him that a group of marauding bandits are headed their way.  Samurai, in a deep, proud voice: "I've got this.  I know exactly what to do."  He struts down the middle of the street to meet the bandits.  But as he sees the sheer number of bandits and the fierceness of their descent upon the town, he begins to sweat.  Bandit: "Samurai, we're coming for you!"  The townspeople, confident in their protector, aren't rattled by the threat.  They stand with their hero, ready to meet any attack with him at their side.  But the samurai, overcome with fear, suddenly turns his horse and gallops out of town, abandoning the cats to their fate.  


Emiko is trying to help the kittens out of the ditch before the flood waters hit the town, but she is too late.  The water strikes and the kittens are swept away.  As they are carried by the fast-moving waters, the entire town races along the bank to try to help them.  Emiko crawls out along a branch and attempts to grab them, but the force of the water is too strong for her.  She is pulled in with the other kittens.  Despite their fear of water, the entire population of the town jumps into the rapids to save the kittens.  They form a cat-chain, linking paws together to try to reach the kittens.  Finally, the chain is just long enough for the kittens to be rescued.  The whole town cheers as they are pulled out of the water safely.


Ika Chu is surveying his newly-built palace, checking to see if everything has been carried out according to his demands.  He approaches a cat painting a chair and dumps the bucket of paint over his head: "That blue should be more blue-blue."  He walks by a cat carrying a vase and smashes it: "That's wrong."  On finding a cat hanging drapes, he slashes them with his claws: "You can't climb those.  Start again."  Another cat approaches with some decorative scrolls: "You like these?"  Ika Chu, pushing the cat off the balcony: "No!"  He has only criticisms for his employees and nothing meets his standards.


Jimbo has just agreed to teach Hank the art of being a samurai.  He hands the dog a bamboo stick: "Defend yourself!"  He begins to strike at Hank: "A warrior has catlike reflexes."  Hank tries and fails to strike back and, as he falls to the ground, the music from "Rocky" begins to play.  Hank, noticing the familiar tune: "Hey, this is the training montage, isn't it?  Can't we just skip ahead to the part where I'm good?"  Jimbo: "No.  This is my favorite part.  The part where you suffer."  From then on, Hank learns that you can't skip the hard work if you truly want to learn a skill.  He has to persevere through suffering to develop the discipline necessary to be a samurai.  Jimbo gives him plenty of opportunity to learn, teaching him to balance on narrow poles over a high ravine, to fire a bow and arrow, to climb high walls, and to use his sword.  Over and over again, Hank fails.  But he keeps getting up to try again.


Hank sits in chains inside a dark cell.  His jailers, two cats, come to take him to the executioner.  When Hank learns he's been sentenced to death, he is horrified: "But I haven't done anything!  I don't understand!"  The cats inform him that there are no dogs allowed in their country: "Didn't you know?  Cats hate dogs."  Hank: "But dogs are lovable.  How could you hate a dog?"  Jailer 1: "My dad hated dogs and that's good enough for me.  It's not really based on logic.  It just feels right to hate, you know?"  Jailer 2: "Yeah, makes sense to me."

Jimbo has decided to adjust his training methods after he realized that it is impossible to teach a dog to be a cat.  Instead, he knows he must play to a dog's unique abilities.  He blindfolds Hank: "Now, listen.  Tell me what you hear."  At first, Hank notices the loudest sounds, but as he continues to listen, he realizes he hears all sorts of things he would normally not notice - - like the vibration of a dragon fly's wings.  Jimbo: "Dogs have a keen sense of smell and excellent hearing."  Hank sniffs the air, smelling flower petals floating by and tea brewing in the house across the forest.  Hank, sniffing deeply: "Are you making nachos?  'Cause someone just cut the cheese."  Jimbo, embarrassed: "Lesson over.  Well done."  Hank smiles, realizing that his gifts are a strength.
