ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Sam and Reuben are on the rooftop with a few other survivors, watching the military bomb the city bridges in an effort to control the alien invasion.  They all know this means they are trapped on the island with the creatures.  A man begins to yell, panic overwhelming his self control.  Henri quickly silences him with a hand over his mouth (the aliens are attracted to sound and would have killed them all).  But, the man is so scared that he ignores all warnings and any common sense he might have.  He continues to try to scream.  Henri keeps trying to quiet him, but the man won't listen.  He pushes Henri's hand away and screams: "We're all gonna die!"  Reacting quickly to protect his son, Henri hits him against the wall to silence him.  The man is killed.  Henri, grieved, whispers: "I'm sorry."  (Caution: intense scene)


Sam is walking among a crowd of people heading to the river to evacuate from the city.  Aliens, drawn by the sounds of shuffling feet, begin to attack.  Panic ensues and, in the chaos, Sam falls to the ground.  She is getting trampled by the frightened crowd, and so she crawls underneath a car for safety.  She only has a moment to catch her breath when a terrorized man grabs her by the ankles, trying to join her under the car.  An alien grabs him and pulls him away, but the force drops the front of the car on Sam's leg.  Quicky, she works to free her leg and escapes from underneath the car just before it collapses with a thud.  (Caution: frightening scene)


Sam and Eric are in the sewers, trying to evade the aliens that are pursuing them.  Knowing the creatures can't swim, they walk slowly in the water, trying to keep quiet.  But, one alien seems to be aware of their presence and is following them along the ceiling.  Sam sees that Eric is having a panic attack and she holds his face in her hands, whispering: "It's okay.  It's okay."  Eric is trying to fight his paralyzing fear and he inadvertently lets out a small moan.  The alien hears and gives a roar, scrambling quickly towards them.  Eric and Sam begin swimming as quickly as they can.  The alien is right behind them.  They reach a place where they must be completely submerged.  The alien follows, nearly grabbing them with its long arms.  But being unable to swim, the creature soon drowns.  Eric and Sam climb out of the water to safety.


Sam wants to let Eric know why she's discouraged him from joining her on her expedition to get pizza when the world is ending.  She hands him a notebook and tells him to read a poem that she has written.  Eric, reading: "'Bad Math.'  You said one to two years.  And it has been two.  You said four to six months, and it has been six.  And Mrs. Friedlander taught me subtraction, and the corner store taught me addition.  And I used only simple maths all my life."  As Eric continues to read, he realizes that Sam is dying.  Eric, tears forming in his eyes, continues: "And I never needed more than more and less.  To four.  To three.  To smaller and smaller.  Until months.  To days.  To hours.  To seconds.  But to not now."  Using the thunderclap to mask the sound, Sam screams into the night.  She screams because she is dying young and because life is unfair.  And she screams because she's afraid and the world is ending.  At the next thunder clap, Eric joins her, screaming for the same reasons.


Sam is walking towards the back of the bus when a sudden explosion rocks New York City.  Ashes and dust fill the air, completely obscuring anything more than a few feet away.  Stunned people walk around the ash cloud like ghosts, trying to get a sense of what is happening.  Sam is horror-struck when the few people she encounters are dragged away by some unseen enemy.  Sam crouches behind a car next to another blast survivor.  They both stare in paralyzed fear as an alien creature appears through the haze in front of them.  But, before they can even react, the alien swoops in like a hawk on a man standing in the street.  He is carried off with a scream.  (Caution: intense and frightening scene)

Sam asks Eric if he has family in the area: "Don't you have anywhere you can go?"  Eric tells her that his family is in England.  He is alone in the country to attend law school.  Sam again tells Eric that he needs to get to the water where they are evacuating people.  Eric is reluctant to leave her and strike out on his own: "Where are you going?"  Sam tells Eric she's going to Harlem to get pizza.  Eric is rather astonished: "I think the world might be ending."  Sam: "And I think there's a slice of Patsy's sitting up there that's the last that'll ever exist.  And I'm gonna get it."  Eric, longing for companionship in the most terrifying time of his life: "Okay.  Let's get pizza."  Sam again tries to refuse, but Eric asks her about her own family.  He stops at the window to look out at the rain, wondering if this will be the day that he dies: "This wasn't part of the plan."  He looks at Sam, pleading this time: "Please, can I come and get pizza with you?"

Sam and Eric are at the waterfront, near the rescue boat, but they are surrounded by aliens.  Sam gives her beloved cat to Eric and whispers to him to run.  She grabs a tire iron and begins smashing windows.  Car alarms blare as she runs along the river, away from Eric.  The aliens rush after her.  When the coast is clear, Eric begins to run to the water.  Sam stops to rest, exhausted, and the aliens turn back to get Eric.  But Sam has distracted them just long enough.  Just before the aliens reach him, Eric jumps into the river.  They cannot follow.  Sam cries in happiness as she watches Eric get pulled into the rescue boat.  Henri puts his hands on the shivering Eric: "You're safe."
