ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

The pilots and crew of an all-black division are having a training meeting in an attempt to perfect their technique.  When Major Stance opens the floor for questions, a pilot stands, asking: "Does it matter?  What we do, how well we do it, does it matter?"  Frustrated that their squadron has been kept out of "real" battle by racial prejudices, the pilot now worries that even the minimal duties they have will be taken from them.  He passes a newspaper article to his captain, who reads it aloud to the men.  The article announces the failure of the "experiment" allowing Negroes to fly airplanes.  It claims that Negroes have neither the intelligence, nor the reflexes to engage in air battle.  Discouraged and defeated, the silent men look toward the major.  The major admits the pilots have an uphill struggle to overcome the perception of their country.  But he doesn't excuse or allow a defeatist mentality.  Inviting any pilot unwilling to do their best to leave, the major orders his men to stand up and fight.  Major: "Get your head up, son.  You're fighter pilots."  (Caution: d-word used)

Colonel Bullard is meeting with top officials in the Pentagon in an attempt to keep his all-black fighter division from being cut from the military.  He addresses Colonel Mortamus, the chief antagonist of Bullard's division: "When we came under your command, Colonel, you stated very clearly that we would never find Negroes who could pass a pilot's exam, make it through flight school, survive basic combat."  Despite the obstacles and discouragement facing them, Bullard's men succeeded in everything assigned them.  Colonel Mortamus, however, is calling their program a "failure."  Not anxious to face more bad press and racial wars, Mortamus's colleagues are inclined to agree with him.  Colonel Bullard isn't willing to accept defeat: "We're given hand-me-down planes.  Ordered to attack targets that have already been bypassed.  Fly patrols where the enemy hasn't been seen for months.  Now, we've done every low-down, dirty job you've handed us, hoping that we would just limp along and go away.  We will not go away.  We have a right to fight for our country, the same as every other American.  So, you shut us down, or you let us fly."  (Caution: d-word used, b-word used)

Joe, an American fighter pilot in Italy, has seen the woman of his dreams during one of his flights.  Having flown over her house earlier in the day, Joe returns on foot, hoping to ask her out for a drive.  When she opens the door of her home, Joe introduces himself in English.  Smiling, she answers in Italian, informing him that she speaks no English.  Through gestures, Joe is able to make her understand that he was the pilot who flew over her house earlier in the day.  She smiles, inviting him inside.  Speaking in rapid Italian, Sofia introduces Joe to her small, gray-haired mother, who greets Joe with excitement when she realizes he's American.  The mother invites Joe to be seated on their couch.  However, when Sofia sits down next to him, her mother cheerfully thrusts him aside: "Scuzi, si.  Scuzi."  She unceremoniously sits down between the two young people, smiling brightly at Joe.  Joe, only momentarily discouraged, pulls out an Italian dictionary and laboriously tries to ask Sofia out for a drive.  After a confused interchange, Sofia understands, telling Joe that she will come...with her mother.  Sofia's mother beams and claps her hands, excited to come along for a Jeep ride with an American pilot.  Joe's face falls: "You wanna bring your mother?"  He sighs, speaking to himself: "It's gonna be tougher than I thought."  Sofia's mother happily pats Joe's cheek.

Maurice, a new fighter pilot, is itching to get up in the air and join the fight against the Germans.  Winky, a more seasoned pilot, cautions him to think about the realities of war: "Hey, look, don't be in a hurry to get to the killing part, Maurice."  He looks the younger man in the eye: "Tell me something.  You scared of dying?"  Maurice looks hesitantly between the other two pilots: "I don't know."  Winky: "I am.  Every time I close the lid on that canopy, I feel like I'm shutting the lid on my own coffin.  I tell you something else, the pilot that tells you otherwise is either a liar or too foolish to know any better."

Deke is amazed that he made it through a recent battle unscathed.  He's in the mess hall, telling his fellow pilots of his brush with death.  Deke: "I got a bullet right through my canopy.  I ought to be dead, ya'all!"  He attributes his safety to the protection of Jesus.  His friends mildly mock him, returning to their poker game.  Deke warns them not to "sass" Jesus.  The others don't believe Jesus had anything to do with his experience: "What happened to you is luck.  Just luck."  Smokey lifts his spoon and, closing his eyes, waves it around in front of himself, pretending to conjure up spirits: "Lords of poker, Black Jesus, White Jesus, Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, all of them!"  Everyone laughs, except Deke.  Lightning stands and puts an arm around his friend: "How 'bout you just get wise.  There is no special mojo running the world.  Things just are how they are."  (Caution: d-word used)

Lightning, a fighter pilot, enters an officers' club to get a drink.  As soon as he enters, the room becomes quiet.  The eyes of every man in the room are on Lightning.  He is approached by a white officer: "What are you doing here?  This is an officers' club."  Lightning: "I am an officer."  Officer: "This is a whites-only officers' club.  You're off the reservation, pal."  A man playing pool shouts to get Lightning's attention: "Hey!  Go home, n----r."  Swallowing his pride, Lightning turns to leave, the laughter of the men following behind him.  Suddenly, he stops on the stairs, changing his mind.  He runs back to the pool player, punching him in the face.  Instantly, every man in the club is on their feet, joining in the fight.  (Caution: n-word used)

Colonel Bullard is instructing his pilots to follow a new battle strategy.  Tasked with protecting the large bomber aircraft, fighter pilots have historically been led away from their guard by the temptation to shoot down enemy fighters.  The desire for glory and the inclination to measure success by number of kills has made the fighter pilots lose their perspective and fail at the heart of their mission.  Colonel Bullard hopes to make his men think differently about real success: "At all costs, under every circumstance, you protect the heavies."  Lightning doesn't like the new strategy: "Colonel, we signed up to shoot Germans, not babysit planes."  Bullard: "You signed up to follow orders.  One bomber, that's ten men.  You getting one Jerry so you can put a cross on your plane, that doesn't balance that.  We count our victories by the bombers we get to their targets.  By the husbands we return to their wives.  By the fathers we get back to their children."

Deke, wounded after a recent fight with German bombers, is struggling to stay alert in his cockpit.  His friend and commander, Easy, is flying his plane next to Deke's, voicing his encouragement over the radio.  Deke's voice betrays his fear as he tells his friend of his injuries.  Easy, calmly: "You're gonna be okay.  I'm right above you."  Deke: "Captain, I'm gettin' real dizzy.  I need to rest a minute."  Deke's eyes begin to close.  Easy: "No, no.  Stay alert, Deke.  I'm here with you."  Deke passes out and his plane begins a nose-dive toward the ground.  Easy begins shouting over the radio for Deke to pull up his plane.  Easy's repeated warnings finally succeed in waking his friend, and Deke is able to regain control of his plane.  Easy flies his plane back into position beside Deke.  Easy: "I need you to stay with me.  Stay with me."

Captain Julian is wrestling with the knowledge that he is directly responsible for the death of another pilot.  He gives the pilot's dog tags to Colonel Bullard, his commanding officer, and tells him that he is thinking of resigning his command: "I just don't feel like I'm fit to lead the squad anymore.  I've made so many mistakes - -"  Colonel Bullard interrupts: "No.  You've made one big mistake.  That self-pity of yours - - that's your weakness.  But it ends right here, right now.  You man up.  You lead your squad.  Every decision that you make isn't always going to be the right one."
