ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Rain lashes down on the stormy sea.  A man surfaces from under the water, gasping for air.  He fights against the elements, struggling to stay afloat while waves crash against him.  The only sounds are the rain, wind, waves, and the man's gasping breath.  He tries in vain to swim, only to be picked up and tossed brutally by a giant wave.  He can gain no ground.  Finally, his capsized boat drifts near him and he reaches out to it for a lifeline.  He clings to it as the ocean roars around him.  At last, the waves throw him on the shores of a rocky beach.

The sailor is standing on the top of the rock mountain that forms the base of the island.  Looking out at the sea, he spots a barrel floating in the ocean.  Hoping it is much needed supplies, the man starts to climb down the smooth rock.  He slips, falling into a crevasse filled with water.  Unhurt, but trapped, the man looks around while treading water.  The smooth rock walls tower above him toward the sky.  They provide no footholds to climb out.  He tries to grip the rock, but isn't able to climb an inch.  The crevasse itself is tall, but narrow.  There are no ledges to sit on and nowhere for the man to rest.  He must tread water until he drowns.  Realizing his situation is desperate, the man dives down under the water.  He sees a dark, narrow opening between the rocks at the bottom, but isn't certain if it will lead to freedom or certain death.  He surfaces, catching his breath.  Diving down again, he inspects the opening, knowing it is his only hope of escape.  He surfaces one more time, fills his lungs with air, and dives back toward the bottom.  He swims into the opening, which quickly becomes so narrow that he can swim no further.  He pushes the rock with his feet, sliding forward a few inches, only to get stuck again.  Still holding his breath, he repeats the process again and again until, finally, he reaches the opening to the ocean.  He swims out of the crack, only to have his legs get stuck behind him.  He pushes and pushes against the rock until he is able to free his legs.  He swims to the surface, gasping for air.

The marooned sailor has decided to attempt to sail off the island.  Having built a raft, he stocks it with melons and pushes off the island.  He hasn't sailed far when, suddenly, the raft is jolted by something underneath.  The man looks into the water, seeing nothing.  The raft is jolted again.  Still nothing is visible.  Finally, the raft is bumped so hard that it falls apart and the man is thrown into the water.  He surfaces, looking at what was once his raft.  Now, it is a pile of useless debris.  Diving under the water, he looks around for the source of the attack.  He sees nothing.  Left with no other options, he swims back toward the island.  Morosely, he plods back up the beach, his hopes crushed.  He looks back toward the ocean, making fists with his hands, and screams in frustration.

A flock of birds fills the air, screeching strangely and then disappearing.  The woman looks out over the horizon, seeing something unusual.  She gasps in horror, realizing a giant wave is headed toward the island.  At another place on the island, the son is gathering water.  Hearing a strange noise, he leaves his work to head to the beach.  The wave is now almost upon the woman.  She turns, grabbing her husband's hand, and begins to run toward the mountain.  The son, still in the woods, knows now that something is really wrong.  The whole island trembles and the air is filled with a roaring sound.  When he finally reaches the beach, he sees the giant wave and turns to run.  The wave bursts into the forest, crushing trees like matchsticks.  The son, clinging to a fallen tree, is swept away in the rush of water and debris.  When the wave finally settles, the water is filled with trees and everything is silent.

The son is searching the sea for his father, who was lost when a tsunami struck the island (see scene # CV09304).  Riding on the back of a sea turtle, the son is far out in the ocean when he spots a floating tree.  The father, weakened by exposure and the struggles of staying alive in the storm, clings weakly to the trunk.  Unable to hang on any longer, the father cries out for help, stretching an arm out to the sky.  He lets go of the tree and sinks under the water.  The son, along with the turtles, dives down and rescues the helpless man, carrying him to the surface.  The turtles carry the two men back to the island, where the mother greets her rescued family with joy.

The woman and the man, now old, are walking together along the beach.  The sun is close to setting and the orange sky casts a warm glow over everything.  The woman suddenly stops, turning to the man.  They put their arms around each other and begin to slowly dance.  The woman rests her head on the man's shoulder.  Later that night, the two are sleeping under the stars.  The man awakens, turning to look at the moon hovering over the glimmering sea.  He stares for a few moments before slowly closing his eyes for the last time.  All night sounds stop and the air is silent.  Something wakes the woman and she sits up, hurrying quickly to her husband's side.  She leans over him, seeing that his breath is gone.  Holding his hand to her face, she begins to weep.
