ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Zach is in the hospital for knee surgery and Nanny and Dave are waiting out in the hall.  When Nanny asks Dave if his father knows about Zach, Dave admits they don't have much contact.  Dave: "He's never really even tried to apologize."  (Dave and Zach's father left them, turning to alcohol after their mother died.)  Nanny tries to get Dave to see that grief made Michael a broken man.  "I'm not saying his behavior is excusable, but it is forgivable.  You'd be surprised how things can start to change when you forgive someone."


Dave is in the hospital after a serious seizure and Zach is devastated.  He leaves the hospital room to find Nanny waiting for him in the hallway.  Zach, sarcastically: "It's all a part of His plan, right?  That's what you would say?"  Nanny, unfazed: "I can't tell you that I know what His plan is, but I do know that all things work for good."  Zach, after seeing so much tragedy in his young life, can't see where the good could possibly be.  Nanny, looking into his eyes: "When I was 21, the doctors found tumors on both my ovaries.  When I found out I couldn't have kids, I cried for a year straight.  Every day."  When Zach's mother made Nanny godmother to her children, Nanny took on a big role in the twins' lives.  And, when Zach's grandmother and mother both died young, Nanny became a surrogate parent.  "I've watched you boys grow up to be men.  Seen more of your lives than your grandma and your mama ever could.  And I don't know why that is.  But I'm eternally grateful.  You see, I was that girl at 21 who thought that God had forgotten about her.  But now, the woman at 65 sees what God's plan was all along."  Zach has tears in his eyes.  Nanny, continuing: "Now, I know life can be confusing.  It's full of ups and downs.  It doesn't mean God isn't real or that He doesn't love you.  Because God does love you.  He loves you like crazy."


Zach and his friends are at a party, drinking and playing games.  A football player from an opposing team approaches Zach and starts to trash talk.  Taking the bait, Zach slings some mean words back.  Both players alternate boasting about themselves with insulting the other player.  Suddenly, the other player pushes Zach, whose friends loudly encourage him to fight back.  When the player makes one more deliberately offensive remark, Zach swings and knocks him to the ground.  Fights break out all over the field as people choose sides and begin to throw punches.  Two men locked in a tackle fall to the ground, hitting Zach's knee in the process.  A loud snap is heard and Zach falls to the ground in agony, all of his hopes for the football season dashed in an instant.  (Caution: underage minors drinking)


It is Christmas and Pastor Baker is preaching a sermon to his congregants.  Pastor: "We all could use a moment.  I'm talking about a game-changing, seismic-shift, capital-M moment.  Where, after that, everything in your life seems different."  The pastor reminds them that Christmas was one of those moments, where Jesus entered the world and changed history forever.  But he acknowledges that many will throw their moments away: "We suffer from an affliction called the 'Somedays,' and it goes something like this.  'Someday, I'm really gonna listen more, not just talk.'  'Someday, I'm going to pour into my kids.'  'Someday, I'm gonna get right with all of that God stuff.  I'm going to get spiritually aligned.'  God's gift to us was Jesus, so that one day our 'someday' could become our moment."


Zach is sharing his testimony with a group of high schoolers.  He tells of the impact his younger brother's faith had on him.  "He taught me, in life, there are only two ways you can be running.  To God, or from God.  And I spent so much time running from God.  And I'm pretty fast."  But Dave's continuing witness to Zach helped turn him back to God: "The moment I did, Jesus was there with His arms wide open.  I just want to encourage anyone who feels like they're running in life to stop, turn around, and embrace Who's chasing you.  'Cause I'll tell you what, He loves you.  He loves you like crazy."

Dave bows his head in prayer before running the most important race of his high school career: "God, just asking You to watch over me and keep me safe out there and help me perform with the best of my abilities in a way that honors You.  Whatever is part of Your plan, I trust that You've got my back."  Just then, Zach interrupts: "Dave, what are you doing, man?  Everyone's out there warming up!"  Dave: "Just a pre-game routine."  Zach, pointing to heaven: "All right, well, is He gonna stretch for you too?  Let's get out there!"

Pastor Baker is preaching a sermon to his congregation.  "Faith is a beautiful thing, isn't it?  If you don't believe and have faith in your football coach, you're not gonna listen to him, are ya?  No.  You don't have faith in him.  But, if he tells you to get out and put in the work, and do the exercises, and you don't put in that work, you're not gonna win a lot of games, are you?  No.  Faith is beautiful.  Faith with action, that's our homework.  Take that faith in your heart, put it into action."


Dave is seriously ill and has asked Zach to pray for him.  Alone in their house, Zach begins to cry out to God from a broken heart: "Why is this so hard?  Every time I come and pray to You, it's so hard!  I did it for my mama, You didn't help me then.  And I don't understand that, I never will.  But I'm begging that You'll hear me now.  'Cause I'm done running.  I'm done running!"  Zach looks up, weeping: "If You want me, I'm right here.  I need You.  Just help me.  Just help me.  I'm right here."

Zach is having dinner at Ginger's house, meeting her parents for the first time.  After a few semi-awkward moments of small talk, Ginger's dad asks a pointed question: "And what do you think about Jesus?"  Zach is immediately uncomfortable.  Lisa, kindly: "It's important to us to know who's dating our daughter."  Zach can appreciate that, but is still nervous: "I'm just a little afraid, I guess, that if I tell you guys how I feel, you might not let me see Ginger again."  Mac: "Well, at least you're honest, so we're off to a good start."  Zach, feeling free to express himself, tells them that, although he grew up in the church, he doesn't have the relationship with Jesus that his mother did.  He knows a lot, but is bogged down by questions.  "I don't understand why Jesus would leave towns before everybody was healed.  I don't understand why all of Jesus's disciples died these terrible deaths.  I don't understand why terrible people get to live to be 100 and amazing people, like my mother, were taken away too early."  Zach obviously feels his answers have disappointed Ginger's parents.  Mac, compassionately: "Well, you're not the first person sitting at this table to wrestle with his faith, Zach.  Trust me."  Zach nods.

Zach and Dave have come to lay flowers on their mother's grave when they find their estranged father already there.  Michael is curled up on the ground, holding a beer bottle and a bouquet of roses.  Getting up quickly when he sees his sons, he joins them for a moment in looking down at her grave.  Michael, tearfully: "I had 20 Christmases with her.  Two without her is...it's always hardest on the holidays.  And I know that I...I just make everything worse."  Dave is first to respond, forgiving their father for abandoning them after their mother died.  Zach is angry: "Two Christmases without her!  How about two Christmases without us, your sons?"  Zach can't forgive the alcoholism or the abandonment.  He throws his flowers at Michael and stalks away.  After saying goodbye to their father, Dave joins him and the two sit among the gravestones.  Zach: "What kind of a man walks out on his two boys after their mother dies of cancer?"  Dave: "A broken one."  Zach: "And that's a good enough answer for you?"  Dave is quiet, not knowing how to respond.
