ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Natalie is driving on a narrow mountain pass.  She bobs her head to the radio, takes a drink from her water bottle, and reads a text from a friend.  Suddenly, the sound of pebbles hitting her windshield alerts her to trouble.  But she doesn't have enough time to react before the rocky hill next to her begins to crumble.  Her window is quickly smashed by falling debris, and Natalie covers her head with her arms as the cascade pushes her car over the side of the hill.  End over end, the car tumbles downward, with Natalie screaming the whole way.  Finally, the car careens over a ledge and begins to freefall.  For a few seconds, Natalie and everything else inside the car are suspended in the air.  But then the car hits ground, and Natalie is thrown to the back of the vehicle.  Everything comes to a stop and, miraculously, Natalie has sustained little more than a few cuts and bruises.  Sitting up, she clears the back windshield underneath her so she can see out of it.  Horrified, Natalie is confronted by a view of the valley floor still far below.  Nothing is between her and a drop of hundreds of feet.  The camera pans away, showing the car hanging from a branch growing off the side of the cliff.  Natalie is trapped.  A single, blood-curdling cry is heard: "Help!"

Raymond and his crew have been sent to rescue a girl trapped in a car hanging from the side of a cliff (see Scene # CV08587).  They know their time is limited and the car has already begun to slip.  The narrow ravine requires the team to perform a particularly dangerous maneuver.  Tilting the helicopter at an angle, Raymond eases it down into the gap.  He hovers it mere feet above the suspended vehicle to give Joby a chance to rope down and secure the car.  The gusting winds, narrow space, and failing engines all make the rescue even more dangerous.  Just as Joby succeeds in securing the car to a cable, it slides backward, trapping his arm underneath.  Raymond hands the controls over to Harrison and prepares to go down himself.  He repels down the cliff face, stopping outside Natalie's window to encourage her.  The car slides again, Roby screams in pain, and the helicopter's engines begin to fail.  Harrison, yelling to Raymond: "Ray, we are in the red!  We are going to crash!"  With no choice but to move quickly, Raymond opens Natalie's door and pulls her into his arms.  Yelling for Harrison to cut the connection to the car, Ray orders Joby to swing sideways.  Joby complies, the car falls, and the three dangle safely from the helicopter's cables.  (Caution: s-word used, gd-word used, h-word used, Christ's name used in vain)

Kim and Lawrence are at the Hoover Dam, testing their earthquake-predicting software.  Kim sits inside a huge pipe within the dam, measuring the series of small quakes with his equipment.  He and Lawrence are ecstatic that their software appears to be a success.  Suddenly, Kim's equipment begins to register a huge spike in activity.  Kim, on the radio to Lawrence: "We're about to have a major quake."  Just then the entire earth trembles and the dam itself begins to shake.  Everyone on the dam begins to run, screaming, in an attempt to get off the crumbling structure.  Kim races down a dark tunnel, trying to make it to the surface.  Standing behind a barrier, Lawrence watches anxiously for his friend, hoping and praying that he makes it to safety in time.  It appears as if he might do so, as Kim is two-thirds of the way across the dam and coming closer each second.  Suddenly, however, he stops, hearing a child crying.  A girl, paralyzed by fear, is crouching alone on the bridge.  Kim grabs her and begins to carry her across the dam.  He runs with her in his arms as the road behind him begins to crack.  It is truly a race against time as the ground beneath Kim's feet literally begins to crumble.  Just as he is about to reach the barrier, a large gap appears in the road ahead.  Kim throws the girl across the gap and into Lawrence's arms.  Kim's foot, however, has been impaled by a bar and he is trapped.  Lawrence, horrified, is helpless to do anything to save his friend.  Kim tells the girl, who is crying, to close her eyes.  The entire dam collapses and Kim is swept away in the raging torrent.  (Caution: s-word, h-word, Christ's name used in vain)

Emma is in a restaurant on the top of a city skyscraper when a huge earthquake begins.  Having called her husband, a rescue pilot, Emma knows he will be waiting for her on the roof with his helicopter.  With the entire building shaking, the walls and ceiling are beginning to crack.  Lights are exploding, glass is shattering, and people are in a panic.  Emma finds her waitress, Larissa, and begins to lead her to the roof, hoping to save her as well.  They are caught up in a stream of frightened people trying to find a way out.  Emma, trying to yell above the din: "Everybody!  There's a rescue helicopter coming!"  However, when the crowd reaches the stairs, it moves downward instead of up.  No one heeds Emma's words.  Larissa is caught up in the crowd and carried down and Emma soon finds herself alone on the way up.  As she runs up the stairs, she encounters several people, all on their way down.  She is the only one moving toward the roof.  Once up there, the true devastation in the city can be seen.  Every building in sight is crumbling, tilting, or shaking.  The roof itself is beginning to crack apart.  Suddenly, it does, and Emma is dropped down several floors.  Bruised, but not seriously injured, she climbs her way up the rubble back to what used to be the roof.  Ray arrives in his helicopter and Emma smiles in relief.

The results of a devastating earthquake have trapped Blake inside a car in a parking garage.  A huge block of cement sits on top of the car, threatening to crush it any moment.  Ben and Ollie, having heard that Blake was trapped, have come to rescue her.  With her legs pinned inside by a heavy bar, Ben knows their only choice is to move the bar somehow.  First, with Ollie's help, he tries to use a lever to shift the bar enough for Blake to move.  But they are unable to finish before another tremor sends the bar crashing down on the lever, removing all hope of using it to save Blake.  With the cement block shifting lower and lower, and the building getting more and more unstable, Blake encourages Ben and Ollie to get out and save themselves.  The boys refuse to leave without her.  Ben looks around, thinking quickly.  Getting an idea, he grabs the tire jack from the trunk, stacks some blocks underneath it, and begins to use it to raise the bar blocking Blake's legs.  He is having some success, until he reaches the end of the jack and can raise the bar no further.  Again thinking quickly, Ben gets his pocketknife and stabs the tires, sinking the car just enough for Blake to move her legs.  Ben grabs her, pulling her out of the window just before the car is crushed by the cement block.  (Caution: h-word used)

Daniel is limping slowly down the street in the middle of a crowd of earthquake survivors.  Suddenly the ground shakes from an aftershock.  A building close to Daniel begins to crumble to the ground.  Terrified, the survivors begin running for their lives as again their city is being pulled apart by the quake.  Daniel sees a cloud of debris quickly heading in his direction.  Looking to his right, he spots a man cowering in the cover of a building.  Daniel runs over, pushing aside other people, and pulls the man out of the shelter, throwing him to the ground.  Daniel takes his place just before the man is swept away by the cloud of debris.

Ben, Blake, and Ollie are devastated to see that Coit Tower is in flames.  Their plan to meet Blake's father and his helicopter has to be abandoned.  Blake: "We have to go to Plan B."  Ben: "I didn't think we had one."  Blake: "We do now."  Blake tells the brothers they must get to the next highest ground in order to signal her father.  Blake and Ollie begin to run in the direction of the chosen high ground, but Ben stops them.  Climbing on top of a car, he takes a look around the city.  He sees that everyone is being evacuated towards the military base in the opposite direction. Climbing down, he confronts Blake: "We'd be the only ones going that way."  Blake is firm in her trust of her father: "My dad said to get to higher ground, so that's what we gotta do."  Ben: "But...what if he doesn't make it?"  Blake: "Listen, I know that this sounds crazy.  But you have to trust me that he will."  Ben is reluctant to put his life in Blake's hands, until Ollie reminds him that Blake's expertise has led them safely so far.  Finally, Ben agrees to trust Blake's plan.

Ray and Emma are driving a speedboat around San Francisco when they encounter a giant tsunami.  The wall of water is heading straight for them, and the only way they can make it is to face it head-on.  Ray tells Emma to hang on while he increases their speed to the maximum level.  As they begin to climb the wave, Emma sees other boats fall away around them.  Unable to maintain the strength to crest the wave, the boats topple over backward. Ray continues to fight the wave.  Just as they are about to reach the top, a massive ship appears above them, its enormous propellers cutting the air in front of their boat.  Seeing they are about to be crushed or cut to bits, Ray swerves to the side.  They have just barely made it through when they are faced with yet another life-threatening danger.  The cargo canisters on the ship have begun to tumble over the side.  Ray must swerve around the falling canisters to avoid being crushed.  He succeeds and the two stop the boat just in time to watch the cargo ship fall over the wave and crash into the Golden Gate Bridge.  (Caution: s-word used)

Blake is trapped inside a building flooded by a giant tsunami.  The glass cubicle where she is imprisoned is blocked by a wall of debris.  Holding her breath, Blake is trying to move the debris when her father swims up to the glass.  She directs him toward a pocket of air.  The two catch their breath, the glass partition between them, and Ray promises to save his daughter.  Swimming back to the blockage, the two work together to try to open a way for Blake to get through.  It isn't long before Blake tires and has to return to the pocket of air.  Worried, Ray follows her.  Blake, gasping: "Daddy, I'm scared.  I'm running out of air!  Daddy, I don't think I can do this."  Telling her to hold on, Ray returns to the wreckage.  He works until he needs to get more air.  Back with Blake, Ray sees that she is about to give up.  Blake: "I love you, Dad.  Please...please tell Mom that I love her, too."  Ray: "Blake, don't you quit on me!"  Blake, her head sinking underneath the rising water: "I'm sorry, Dad!"  Helplessly trapped on the other side of the glass wall, Ray watches as his daughter's lungs fill with water.  Her body jerks several times, and her breathing stops.  Refusing to let his daughter die, Ray swims to a panel of the partition and kicks it in.  Grabbing the unconscious Blake, he swims back to the surface of the water with his daughter in his arms.

Emma is standing on a boat on the flooded streets of San Francisco when she hears a pounding noise from a building nearby.  Looking over, she sees a man trying to break a window in order to escape.  Behind him, Emma sees Ray giving Blake CPR.  Desperate to save her daughter, Emma drives the boat into the building.  Ben, Ollie, and Ray are all able to climb safely aboard, carrying Blake with them.  Once onboard the boat, Ray continues immediately to give Blake CPR, trusting Emma to drive the boat out of the sinking building.  Finally safe back on the watery street, Emma joins Ray at Blake's side.  She pleads with her daughter to wake up while Ray continues CPR.  After seeing no response from his daughter, Ray's chest compressions slow and eventually stop.  Emma, seeing that Ray has given up, begins to mourn the loss of her daughter.  Seeing his wife suffer and his daughter lying dead, Ray suddenly becomes infused with determination.  He resumes CPR with increased vigor.  Within moments, Blake begins to sputter and cough.  Her eyes open and she embraces her relieved parents.
