ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Dodge and Linda are sitting in their car on the side of the freeway, listening to an emergency radio broadcast.  The newscaster solemnly informs his listening audience that the space shuttle sent to save Earth from a meteor has been destroyed: "The final mission to save mankind has failed.  The 70-mile-wide asteroid known commonly as 'Matilda' is set to collide with Earth in exactly three weeks' time, and we'll be bringing you up-to-the-minute coverage of our countdown to the end of days, along with all your classic rock favorites."  A perky song by the Beach Boys replaces the news as Dodge and Linda sit, digesting the terrible revelation.  They stare straight ahead, silent in their own thoughts.  Suddenly, Dodge seems to wake up, returning to the present: "I think we missed the exit."  Linda looks at him in disgust before getting out of the car and running away, never to return.

An asteroid is headed toward Earth, and the last hope for the planet's survival has just evaporated.  All over the city, people are reacting to the news.  Posters hung by the lonely advertise friendships for those fearing facing the end alone.  Traffic jams clog the city as people desperately seek to spend their last days elsewhere.  Dodge, one of the few who have nowhere better to go, continues with life as usual.  He goes to the gym before work, where he listens to the news coverage of the asteroid.  He looks around, seeing that, except for one muscle-bound die-hard, he is alone in the gym.  He drives to his job, where he works as an insurance agent.  Arriving at the near-empty office, he sees co-workers packing their belongings and papers scattered everywhere.  Beginning his work, he fields hundreds of questions from policy-holders regarding the coming disaster.  Dodge, after explaining to one customer that Armageddon coverage costs extra, takes a moment to retch into his garbage can.  Later, at a department meeting, the boss, with a forced brightness, gives the five remaining employees permission to have casual Friday everyday.  While he announces top-level positions recently vacated by suicides and resignations, the employees listen with little interest.  He waves a file folder in the air, trying to auction off the position of company CFO.  No one responds.  A man in the back wearing a track suit says, half to himself: "Life has no meaning."

Diane and her husband are having a dinner party to "celebrate" the coming end of the world.  Knowing they only have three weeks left to live, Diane's friends are sharing what they will do with their remaining time.  Karen, giggling: "Okay, well, I think I'm finally gonna take that pottery class.  And, um, well...I'm gonna eat whatever I want, and totally not even care!"  Her friends smile politely.  Karen looks meaningfully at Dodge, whom she has just met: "And, um, maybe, I'll, um...be spending a little time with someone special."  It's Dodge's turn to share, but he, alone among his friends, seems to be the only one impacted by the futility of their remaining weeks.  Dazed and depressed, he searches briefly for an answer until a firecracker interrupts him, and the conversation turns down other channels.

Dodge is sitting in his apartment when he sees his neighbor, Penny, climb down the fire escape to sit outside his window.  Seeing that the girl is crying, Dodge opens his window to ask if she is all right.  Penny leans into the apartment, hugging Dodge tightly for comfort: "How could I be so stupid?  I'm never gonna see my family again."  (Due to the coming asteroid impact, airlines are no longer in operation.)  Penny tells Dodge that she has always been "flaky and irresponsible," and, staying true to character, she has missed the final flights available to take her home to her parents.  She can't believe it's the end of the world and she still struggles to be on time.  Now that it is too late to change anything, Penny is overwhelmed with remorse for the time she has wasted: "How could I do this?  I put my energy in the wrong places.  I give my time to the wrong people.  I mean, when I think of all the holidays I didn't spend with my mum and dad to be with some guy I used to know..."

Mankind has only weeks to live before an asteroid destroys the planet.  Dodge and Penny are discussing the coming end of life.  Dodge, a confirmed pessimist: "You'd think a lifetime of waiting for the worst to happen would have prepared me for this."  Penny: "How could anyone prepare for this?"  Dodge: "I always knew.  I always knew it'd be over too soon.  I never saw myself as an old man."  Penny: "Really?  I thought I was going to live forever.  I was totally going to peak at forty."  Dodge: "Well, I hear thirty is the new forty."

Dodge and Penny are spending one of the last few remaining nights they have left on Earth in a jail cell.  Penny wonders why Dodge is alone when the world is ending: "How come you're not with your family?"  Dodge bleakly tells her he has no family: "My mother passed away.  And my father drove away, a long time ago.  My wife recently ran away, as fast as any human woman could.  It only took Armageddon to give her the courage.  Which is ironic, because being afraid of dying alone is why I got married in the first place."

Having only weeks left to live, Penny expresses relief that her days of dating are over.  Penny: "I'm not gonna waste my time on the wrong person.  I'm not gonna waste my parents' time introducing them to some future stranger.  And no more days spent picking out what you're going to wear for nights that don't mean anything.  No more wondering whether you're with the right person, or if this is the guy that you're meant to have kids with.  All those ridiculous questions.  It's liberating.  That's what it is."

Dodge is watching the news one week and 16 hours before an asteroid is due to strike and destroy the earth.  The newscaster breaks the devastating news that earlier approximations were wrong, and the asteroid will now be coming one week ahead of schedule.  Newscaster: "The point of contact is 16 hours, 26 minutes away, so be sure to mark your calendars.  Also, a friendly reminder to set your clocks ahead for daylight savings time."  Onscreen, the "End of Days Countdown" clock changes to reflect the new remaining time of less than a day.  Newscaster: "On a personal note, this is my final broadcast.  Our final broadcast.  On behalf of myself, producer Bruce Hammond, and everyone here at the network, we bid you all a fond farewell.  It has been my pleasure to bring you the news for the past 27 years.  Tonight, I'll be sitting across the dinner table from my wife, Helen, and we'll be talking about our sons, Henry and Paul.  And we'll be saying our prayers for each and every one of you.  Good night, good luck, and God bless."  With an air of finality and one last look backward at the set, the newscaster walks off-screen.  The television station ends transmission.  Dodge stares at the screen in shock, feeling the inescapable clutch of his own mortality.

Dodge and Penny are lying on a bed, waiting for the end of the world to come.  Penny tells Dodge that she wants to spend whatever time remains with him, the one she loves.  She begs him to keep her from falling asleep so she won't waste her final moments.  Having expressed their love for each other, Penny wonders what to do with their remaining short time.  Dodge strokes her hair, suggesting they just talk, getting to know each other better.  Penny begins to tell him of her childhood, but her thoughts are never far from the coming end.  A loud explosion brings her back to reality, and the fear is evident in her voice.  Penny: "I wish I'd met you a long time ago.  When we were kids."  Dodge: "It couldn't have happened any other way.  It had to happen now."  Penny: "But it isn't enough time."  Dodge: "It never would have been."  A louder explosion shakes the house, and Penny tells Dodge that she's scared.  Dodge continues to stroke her hair, telling her how much he loves her.  Penny, crying: "I thought that somehow we'd save each other."  Dodge: "We did."  They stare into each others' eyes until a white light consumes everything.
