The ScreenVue Vault is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

The Vault first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free Vault access.

The Vault offers 16,000+ Movie Ideas and Movie Views from a variety of movies and resources. 

The Vault saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement!

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 5,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  are part of the Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

ScreenVue is an international organization headquartered in the United States, with offices around the world. As such, many of our systems and online services are employed globally.

When you purchase licenses or services from ScreenVue, we will require only the personal information that is necessary for the administration of your account with us.

When you sign up for CVLI/ScreenVue’s licenses or services, you may provide some or all of the following:

- Information about the licenses and subscriptions that you purchase from us including your method of payment.

Our websites contain links to other websites. When you leave a ScreenVue website by linking to any of these sites, you are subject to the privacy policy of those sites.

- Personal data that you freely provide about yourself that is relevant to the nature of the interaction, such as your name, username and email address. 
- Details of the emails you open, and links clicked.

ScreenVue works with reputable service providers who may process your data to perform business functions on our behalf. These include Google Analytics, MailChimp/Mandrill, SurveyGizmo and others.

All such service providers are contractually required to keep your data safe, use it only for the purposes agreed, and delete it when it is no longer required. They have agreed not share it, nor use it for their marketing purposes.

## How We Use Cookies

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 5,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas and Movie Views?"__
- The Vault offers TWO different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View or Download. 
- *Movie Views*: Has the "TV icon," where you can preview the idea that you are considering.

__"Why can't I download a Movie Idea or Movie View?"__
- We do not have permission from the studio owners to offer downloads for Ideas and Views. Instead, use the cues listed in the upper, right hand corner of a Movie Idea in tandem with your own copy or rental, or preview a Movie View. 

- The Vault offers two different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- The Church Video License has made recent modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__
- Before using Vault content, please check your country’s Authorised Producers List to confirm the content is covered (all Vault content is covered in the USA).

As Dr. Martin Luther King is giving his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech on the other side of the world, a group of young black girls wearing their Sunday finest are on their way to church.  King: "I accept this honor for our lost ones, whose deaths pave our path."  Walking down the stairs inside the building, the girls are talking about baptism and hair styles.  Their young faces alight with innocent excitement, they speculate on how Mrs. King styles her hair.  One girl stops in front of a stained glass window to describe her styling theory to her friends.  Her words are obliterated by the sound of an explosion.  Glass and wood and other debris fly in slow motion through the air, along with taffeta skirts and shiny patent shoes.  When the dust has settled and everything is silent, the girls are hardly discernable under the pile of rubble that remains of the church.  (Caution: disturbing scene)

Discouraged and weary, Dr. King stands alone in the darkened room.  Going to the phone, he calls his friend, Hallie.  The phone rings in Hallie's home, awakening her and her husband from sleep.  She answers with a tired voice.  King: "Hallie.  I need to hear the Lord's voice."  Hallie immediately understands: "Surely, Martin.  Surely."  Picking up the phone, she moves it away from where her husband still sleeps.  She begins to sing her prayer for Martin into the phone: ♪ "Precious Lord, take my hand.  Lead me home.  Let me stand." ♪ In the darkness, Martin closes his eyes, listening to her words: ♪ "I am tired.  I am weak.  I am worn through the storm.  Through the night.  Lord, lead me on...to the light." ♪

Dr. King and Ralph are sitting in prison, along with the rest of the demonstrators.  Dr. King is discouraged by their lack of progress in the civil rights movement: "I'm tired, Ralphy.  Tiring of this."  Ralph encourages his friend: "Eyes on the prize, Martin."  Martin wonders aloud if the struggle for equality is worth the sacrifices, or if the generational bondage can even be broken.  He remembers with Ralph the men who have suffered and died for their cause: "A man stands up, only to be struck down.  And what happens to the people he led?"  Dr. King sighs, shaking his head, feeling hopeless: "What are we doing, Ralphy?"  Ralph, calmly: "We take it piece by piece.  Like we been doin'.  We build the path as we can.  Rock by rock."  King still struggles with his worry and fear: "They're gonna ruin me so they can ruin this movement.  They are."  Ralph, quoting from Matthew 6: "'Look at the birds of the air, they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your Heavenly Father doth feed them.  Are you not worth much more than they?  And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?'"  Dr. King nods, uplifted by the truth of God's Word: "Yes, sir."

Amelia greets Coretta, who has come specifically to meet with Malcolm X and hopefully stave off a violent demonstration.  Coretta looks nervous and confesses to Amelia that she wished she felt prepared for the important work she had to do.  Amelia looks Coretta in the eye: "I'll tell you what I know to be true.  It helps me in times when I'm feeling unsure.  If you'd like."  Coretta, eagerly: "Oh, please do, Miss Boynton."  Amelia, proudly: "I know that we are descendants of a mighty people, who gave civilization to the world.  People who survived the hulls of slave ships across vast oceans.  People who innovate and create and love, despite pressures and tortures unimaginable.  They are in our bloodstream.  Pumping our hearts every second.  They've prepared you.  You are already prepared."

Dr. King and James have come to the coroner's office to grieve with Cager over the loss of his grandson, Jimmie Lee.  The men walk down the white hallway towards the bent man at the end.  Cager is leaning on the glass that separates him from the body of his grandson, crying.  Dr. King approaches him gently: "There are no words to sooth you, Mr. Lee.  There are no words.  But I can tell you one thing for certain.  God was the first to cry.  He was the first to cry for your boy."

Dr. King is speaking at the funeral of Jimmie Lee, a young man martyred to the civil rights cause.  Dr. King: "When I heard President Kennedy had been shot and killed, and when I heard, just yesterday, that Malcolm X, who stood in this very church three weeks ago, had been shot and killed, I turned to my wife, Coretta, and said the same thing I often say when one of our leaders is struck down."  Dr. King looks out at the audience, Jimmy's casket in full view in front: "Our lives are not fully lived if we're not willing to die for those we love and for what we believe."

The Reverend Williams is leading hundreds of black protesters on a peaceful march from Selma to Montgomery.  The protesters cross the bridge to find a posse of white deputies waiting for them, led by Major Cloud.  Williams asks to speak with Cloud, but the major refuses.  Instead, he orders his men to attack the peaceful protesters.  Dozens of white officers armed with clubs and whips dash at the crowd, throwing blows at anyone they can catch.  People begin screaming and running, but men on horseback chase after them.  No mercy is shown on women or the elderly, who are beaten as severely as the men.  Americans watching the news coverage from home on television are in tears as they watch the brutality that is taking place in Selma.  But the white spectators in Selma are cheering and screaming for the 'n-----s' to go home.  Even the news reporter has to bite back his tears as he covers the brutal attack that became known as "Bloody Sunday."  (Caution: n-word used, violence)

Two pastors are leaving a cafe, discussing whether King was wrong for cancelling the march to Montgomery.  Both pastors are white, and have come to the state in order to march in support of civil rights.  One is angry, and feels King didn't deliver on a promise.  The other, Reeb, believes King acted on what he believed to be God's will.  He likens the situation to the times he has preached feeling that God is directing his words - -the times when he has scrapped the plan and the notes and allowed himself to be guided solely by God.  The other pastor nods, understanding.  Reeb: "I think that's what happened to Dr. King up there on the bridge today.  He kneeled down, prayed to God, and got an answer.  And he was brave enough to follow that answer, and I, for one, don't fault him for it."

Dr. King is preparing to march from Selma to Montgomery to protest the lack of black voting privileges in Alabama.  John tells King that he is worried about the final leg of the march and is uncertain he'll be able to protect the civil rights leader in that portion of the state.  He urges Dr. King to drive rather than march, and to scrap his plans for a concluding speech.  Dr. King refuses to change his plans: "I can't hide."  John: "Don't you want to protect yourself, Doctor?"  John reminds King that he should want to live to see the results of all his hard labor.  Dr. King tells John that he must walk with the people and considers the risk worth taking.  King: "I'm no different than anybody else.  I want to live long and be happy.  But I'll not be focusing on what I want today.  I'm focused on what God wants."
