ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

A factory employee rises slowly on a lift, preparing to change the numbers on the huge safety sign that hangs over the factory floor.  The 784 days since the last company accident is now one day.  At the same time, an adolescent boy sits somberly on the swing in his yard, fingering his mother's necklace.  Several mourners at his mother's wake watch him from the window of the house.  Mrs. Kaznyk: "I'm so worried for that boy."  Mr. Kaznyk: "Joe's gonna be okay."  Mrs. Kaznyk shakes her head: "She was everything to him."  Mr. Kaznyk: "Jack's gonna step up.  He's a good man."  Mrs. Kaznyk: "But he's never had to be a father before.  I don't think he understands Joe."  The two continue to watch the grieving boy through the window.

Charles and his friends are filming a scene for their movie.  The teens hope to win an amateur filmmakers contest and every eye is eagerly watching the performance of the two actors.  In the scene, Martin and Alice play husband and wife.  Martin, a police officer, is leaving on a dangerous mission and Alice begs him not to go.  At first, Martin's performance is dry and emotionless, but as Alice plays her part with convincing concern, Martin finds himself helplessly being drawn into the tide of her emotions.  Alice says her lines with tears burning her eyes and throat.  The adolescent boys observing find themselves spellbound and Martin is struck almost speechless.  Alice finishes her last desperate plea: "I just love you so much."  Martin, staring into her soulful eyes, whispers his final line: "I love you too."  A few moments of silence pass before Alice, in a normal voice, asks her friends if her performance was okay.  Charles takes a deep breath and Martin surreptitiously wipes a tear from his eye.  Not one of the five boys watching her was left unmoved.

While filming a scene from a movie, six teens witness a terrible disaster.  A pickup truck and a speeding train collide head-on.  The train leaps from the track with a force fueled by its explosive cargo.  The teens are forced to run in all directions as debris, flaming metal, and whole train cars fly at them.  Charles, screaming as he runs: "I don't want to die!"  (Caution: "h--l" used once as profanity, "s--t" muffled by sound of explosion)

Deputy Lamb's investigations have led him to believe that the Air Force is hiding something dangerous from the townspeople of Lillian.  He tries to share his suspicions with the sheriff, but the sheriff only listens with half an ear.  Replying to his subordinate with barely veiled sarcasm, the sheriff rifles through papers distractedly while his deputy pleads his case.  Finally, the sheriff writes the deputy's concerns off as symptoms of stress and tells him to take a vacation.

The town sheriff walks into the gas station to find the teen employee listening to his new Walkman (the latest in technology at that time).  Sheriff: "Hey, Breen, I'm not sure Edie's paying you to listen to the radio."  The boy, engrossed in his music, isn't aware of the sheriff's presence.  The sheriff throws a candy bar at the boy, finally gaining his attention.  Sheriff, gesturing to the Walkman: "What's that?"  Breen: "Walkman.  It's like a stereo.  You want to try?"  The sheriff shakes his head: "I don't think so.  Kids walkin' around with their own stereos, just what we need."  He waves the candy bar warningly at Breen before heading out: "It's a slippery slope, my friend."

Joe and Alice are watching videos of Joe's mother, who died recently.  The videos show Joe, at various ages, spending time with his mother.  Baby Joe sucks on her necklace while she holds him.  She comforts him when he cries at his first birthday party.  She laughs with him while he opens his Christmas presents.  Joe, watching her smiling face and remembering: "She used to look at me this way, like really look, and I just knew that I was there, that I existed."

Joe, Cary, and Alice are part of a group of people trying to escape from the alien that has been terrorizing their town.  One by one, the alien overtakes the frightened humans, until only Joe and his friends are left.  Trapped, Joe faces the alien with his friends cowering behind him.  He talks to the alien, telling him to leave the planet.  (Joe knows the alien has been tortured by earthlings and his one desire has been to return home.)  Joe, hoping to show the alien that humans can be compassionate: "We understand!  But not everyone's horrible."  The alien picks up Joe in his massive claw.  His face is so close that his breath blows Joe's hair in short bursts.  Joe and the alien stare at one another silently for a few moments.  Joe: "I know bad things happen.  Bad things happen.  But you can still live.  You can still live!"  (Joe, having recently lost his mother, knows this firsthand.)  The alien moves his face directly in front of Joe's and opens the milky alien outer eyelids, exposing eyes strangely similar to those of a human.  Joe and the alien look searchingly at one another, seemingly seeing into one another's souls (the alien communicates telepathically).  The alien puts Joe down and moves quickly away.  (Caution: "h--l" used once as profanity)
