ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Philip and Lily, who have been corresponding by letter, are meeting in person for the first time.  Seated in a nice restaurant, Lily quietly cuts Philip's meat for him.  Philip: "So, is this what you expected?"  (He is referring to his quadriplegia.)  Lily, hemming and hawing, finally admits that dealing with his disability is harder than she had expected.  While she talks, Philip's face falls.  Awkwardly, she clears her throat and lifts a bite of meat toward his mouth.  Philip politely refuses it, obviously hurt.  Feigning exhaustion, he asks Lily to call his caregiver to take him home.  Lily tries to talk him into staying, but Philip is too hurt and humiliated.  Lily: "I shouldn't have been so honest."  Philip, sadly: "No, I'm glad that you were."  However, when Lily begins the "I'd just like to be friends speech," Philip feels he can't stay another second.  Abruptly, he backs up his wheelchair, running into a woman seated behind him.  Apologizing briefly, he turns the chair and starts moving away from the table.  He runs into a waiter carrying a pot of coffee.  The entire pot spills in Philip's lap.  Suddenly, he finds himself surrounded by people trying to be helpful when all he wants to do is escape.  Philip, his jaw trembling: "Please, don't.  I can't feel anything.  I don't feel anything."


Dell enters the shower in Philip's luxury apartment.  The enormous glass box is almost the size of a small bedroom.  Stainless steel buttons and nozzles line the walls, but Dell can't figure out how to turn the water on.  Spotting a computer screen, Dell touches one of the buttons displayed on it.  A pleasant feminine voice asks a question in German.  Looking around blankly, Dell responds, simply: "Yeah."  The light in the glass cube changes from blue to white, but no water comes forth.  Dell randomly chooses another button (a little cloud with lightning bolts, labeled "monsun").  The German voice returns, asking another unintelligible question.  Dell, uncertainly, answers: "Yeah."  Suddenly, powerful jets of water shoot from all sides at Dell, who feels uncomfortably like he's in a car wash.  He flings an arm at the computer screen and manages to turn off the deluge.  But the break in the storm is only temporary -- his efforts merely changed the direction of the water.  A powerful jet from above strikes Dell, who begins to cry for outside help.

Dell, having gathered the entire household in the hall, excitedly unveils his first attempt at painting.  Everyone stares, open-mouthed, at the childish portrait of a huge dog with a tiny head.  The head seems to be cut from a magazine, the feet are plastic hair combs, and the rest of the body appears to have been painted on with a cheese grater.  Dell: "What do you think?  Come on?"  Charlotte, trying to be diplomatic, searches for the words: "There's something..."  Maggie, finishing her sentence: "Something very passionate."  The others chime in, trying to affirm Dell's efforts.  "Almost post-post-modern."  "I like the dog."  "It's...unexpected.  And I say that with admiration."  Dell, moved, walks away, dreaming of becoming a famous artist.  Once he's gone, Philip moves forward to get a closer look at the artwork.  Yvonne: "You can't be serious?"  Philip: "Well, it might not be your cup of tea, or mine..."  Yvonne: "Or even in the tea family?"  Philip, continuing: "But the important thing is to see and encourage potential.  Don't you see potential here?"  Philip smiles and Yvonne nods, smiling too.


Latrice is fed up with Dell.  The father of her child has been recently released from prison, but shows no signs of finding employment or even a place to live.  When he assumes he can sleep on her couch, it is, for her, the last straw.  She orders him out of the apartment, angrily confronting him for his lack of parental responsibility: "You owe us so much child support that the other thing that you owe us is a 'thank you' for not reporting you.  I am done, Dell.  I don't want to see you and neither do Anthony."  Dell tries to argue, but Latrice is firm: "I can't count on you."  Dell, admitting no wrong: "What do you want from me?"  Latrice: "Now?  Nothing.  What did I want from you?  Everything.  Help.  Support."  Dell, defensively: "I support you, Latrice."  Latrice: "How?  Where?  You never look out for nobody but you, Dell."  Latrice, putting Dell's bag outside, orders him never to return.  Dell, still unapologetic, heads to the door.  He sees his son peeking quietly around the corner, watching him leave.  (Caution: h-word used)

It is Dell's first day as Philip's caregiver and Yvonne is showing him the ropes.  They walk into Philip's bedroom, where he lies prone in bed, unable to move anything aside from his head.  On one side of the bed is a table covered with pill bottles.  On the other side is Philip's wheelchair.  Philip himself looks resigned.  Yvonne tells Dell to transfer Philip from the bed to the chair so he can be fed breakfast.  Dell, somewhat surprised: "Do you want me to go pick him up?"  Yvonne nods her assent.  Dell moves uncertainly toward the bed, throwing back the blankets that Philip has no ability to move.  Philip, helpless as a rag doll, silently submits while Dell maneuvers him into the chair.  Thinking his job done, Dell starts to move away.  Philip's eyes widen as he feels himself falling sideways back toward the bed.  Yvonne darts toward Philip, yelling: "The buckle!"  She manages to catch Philip before he falls completely out of the chair.  Yvonne, tersely: "You need to buckle him.  This needs to be strapped at all times!"  Gently, she puts Philip's arms on the armrests of his chair and straps him in securely.
