ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Maria weeps over Tony's dead body.  On one side of her are the Sharks.  On the other, the Jets.  All are sobered by the terrible consequence of their enmity.  Maria suddenly stops crying and approaches Chino, who still holds the gun in his hand.  She takes the gun from him, asking him how to use it.  She angrily points it at him, and then at the other gang members around her: "How many bullets are left?  Enough for you?  And you?  All of you!  I can kill now because I hate now.  I hate now!  How many can I kill, Chino?  And still have one bullet left for me?"  Chino looks at her with tears in his eyes.  Maria lowers the weapon and returns to Tony's body.  The Jets carefully and tenderly pick up Tony's body.  The Sharks join them, and all help to carry Tony away.  


Tony and Bernardo circle each other for a fight, their rival gangs egging them on.  Bernardo has refused Tony's offer of peace and has pushed the young man until he has finally had enough.  They begin to throw punches, hitting each other harder and harder.  The gang members, holding chains and pipes, yell and scream for the violence to continue.  Finally, Tony has Bernardo on the ground.  He punches him again and again until, suddenly, he realizes what he is doing.  The anger on his face is replaced with chagrin.  Even as his friends are screaming for him to finish the job, Tony backs away, lowering his fist.  Bernardo, however, is still consumed with rage.  He follows Tony, pushing him to finish the fight.  Someone pulls out a knife and throws it to Riff.  In response, Bernardo snaps out his own blade.  The two young men circle one another, Riff looking visibly scared.  Tony watches in horror as the fight he never wanted is now escalated into a deadly battle.  He tries to stop it, but the gang holds him back.  He grabs Riff, trying to restrain him, but Riff pushes himself violently away.  The force of the push causes Riff to fall back against Bernardo's blade.  Bernardo looks at Riff in horror, never intending to go this far.  Riff turns to Tony, tears in his eyes: "It's okay.  It's okay."  He falls to the ground.  Tony, weeping, looks up at Bernardo.  Suddenly, hate washes over him.  He rushes at Bernardo with a knife, thrusting the blade into his heart.  The two gangs erupt in all-out warfare.  (Caution: violence, h-word spoken in background)


Tony and Maria are standing in front of an altar in an old church.  They wonder what it would be like if they were there to get married.  Tony looks at Maria and begins to recite the wedding vows.  Looking into his eyes, Maria recites them back.  Tony takes Maria's hand and begins to sing a beautiful wedding song, asking God to make them one: ♪ "Make of our hands one hand.  Make of our hearts one heart.  Make of our vows one last vow.  Even death won't part us now." ♪ Maria echoes his melody, her clear and angelic voice amplified by the cathedral setting: ♪ "Make of our lives one life.  Day after day, one life.  Now it begins.  Now we start.  One hand.  One heart.  Only death will part us now." ♪

Riff is trying to convince the Jets that their gang membership is for life: "None of us would even be here if it wasn't for all of us."  Riff, singing: ♪ "When you're a Jet, you're a Jet all the way, from your first cigarette to your last dyin' day.  When you're a Jet if the spit his the fan, you got brothers around.  You're a family man!" ♪ Another Jet: ♪ "You're never alone." ♪ Riff: ♪ "You're never disconnected." ♪ Together: ♪ "You're home with your own.  When company's expected, you're well-protected." ♪ Riff and the Jets stroll down the street together, continuing to sing: ♪ "When you're a Jet, you stay a Jet!" ♪

Tony is watching the dancers when he spots Maria, who is dancing with Chino.  He follows her with his eyes, seemingly unable to look away.  Just then, Maria notices him and stops dancing.  She stares back, the dancers moving fast all around her.  With their eyes locked on each other, the two, seemingly in their own world, slowly begin to walk towards one another.  It is love at first sight.

Riff has come to Valentina's store to persuade newly paroled Tony to join the fight between the Sharks and the Jets: "We need you if we're going to war.  You can't refuse us now!"  But his year in prison has changed Tony.  He is grateful for the job Valentina has given him and doesn't want to waste his second chance.  Tony, full of remorse for his past actions: "I'm scared of myself, Riff.  What I done to that kid.  What I almost done."  Riff tries to brush over Tony's near-homicide: "What is the point in beating yourself up?"  Tony, passionately: "I wanna be unlike how I was!  'Cause I was disappearing down a sewer and taking you and everything with me!"  Tony looks earnestly at his friend, trying to explain how he came to realize his life needed to change: "I had time, lots of it, locked up like that.  And, for the first time ever, I took a look inside, and that was rough, doing that."  But all Riff sees is that Tony is abandoning him and their way of life: "Yeah, you know what?  You're just too deep for me, kid."  (Caution: phrase, "sperm to worm" used to describe life span)

Baby John is despondent as he sits down by Diesel in the police station: "I can't go to jail."  (The boys have been arrested for yet another street fight.)  Diesel, confidently: "You won't.  Long as you remember two things.  One, tell 'em what they wanna hear."  A-Rab, finishing: "And two, don't tell 'em nothing."  Mouthpiece puts on Sergeant Krupke's hat and pretends to be the officer, addressing the gang: "Hey, garbage!  Look at youse, you feckless, frigging disappointments.  Now, give me one good reason I shouldn't throw the book at ya!"  Diesel begins to sing, blaming all of their misdeeds on a bad childhood: ♪ "Dear kindly Sergeant Krupke, you gotta understand.  It's just our bringin' upke that gets us out of hand." ♪ Big Deal: ♪ "Our mothers all are junkies." ♪ A-Rab: ♪ "Our fathers all are drunks!" ♪ Diesel: ♪ "Golly, Moses, naturally we're punks.  Gee, Officer Krupke, we're very upset.  We never had the love that every child oughtta get.  We ain't no delinquents.  We're misunderstood.  Deep, down inside us, there is good." ♪ Altogether, surrounding Baby John, as if pleading to the officer for mercy on his behalf: ♪ "There is good.  There is good.  There is untapped good.  Like, inside the worst of us is good."♪
