ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Asha and her friends are trapped in a dumb waiter, trying to break into the king's study.  They jiggle fruitlessly at the door, but it is locked on the outside.  The goat tries ramming it with his head, but succeeds in doing nothing except knocking books off the shelf.  Star decides to try his luck.  He works one arm under the door and begins firing magic all over the room.  Asha worries that star will cause more harm than good by blindly using magic.  Goat, sarcastically: "Go ahead, throw magic dust everywhere!  It'll be fine!"  Their worries are proven correct when an enchanted magnifying glass focuses on a piece of paper, starting a fire on the king's desk.  When they finally free themselves from the dumb waiter they gasp in horror.  The entire desk and all of its contents are in flames.  Outside the castle, an explosion is seen coming from the king's tower.

Asha wonders how it's possible that she is face-to-face with a star and that now there are talking animals and plants.  The creatures tell her that the answer is simple and they sing a song to illustrate that everything, from people to animals to stars, is made of the same thing.  Squirrel: ♪ "Have you ever wondered why you look up at the sky for answers?  Or why flowers in the wind are effortless and eloquent dancers?  Or what forms the rings in the trees, turns a pine from a seed?" ♪ All: ♪ "If you're trying to figure out just who you are, don't look far.  If you really wanna know just who you are, you're a star." ♪ The animals continue singing : ♪ "When it comes to the universe, we're all shareholders.  See, we were all just little nebulae in a nursery from supernovas, now we've grown into our history.  We're taking whys right out of mystery." ♪ The creatures weave a story where each part of the universe is caused by another part.  Goat: "So, your dust is my dust?  Fantastic!"  All:  ♪ "We are our own origin story." ♪

Asha walks through the village, lamenting the fact that her people's dreams are being held down by a tyrannical king.  She sees a man sitting quietly on his porch and remembers his dream was to climb mountains.  She sees a woman sweeping the cobblestones and knows that her dream had been to sail ships across the vast ocean.  She sees a woman feeding the birds when her dream had been to fly with them in the sky.  Asha wants her people to realize their dreams and begins to sing, ♪ "So, I make this wish…to have something more for us than this." ♪ Asha knows too that inside herself are reservations that stop her from pursuing her own dreams.  She sees the star in the sky that she and her father always used to wish upon and begins running towards it: ♪ "So, I look up at the stars to guide me.  And throw caution to every warning sign.  I'm sure there will be challenges that find me, but I can take them on one at a time.  So, I make this wish...to have something more for us than this." ♪


King Magnifico is seriously disturbed.  Someone else has used magic in the kingdom and he sees it as a definite threat.  Magnifico, pointing to a picture of his ruined homeland: "Everything I do is to make sure that never happens again!"  The king's eyes land on the book of forbidden and evil magic.  He takes the book out of its enchanted cupboard.  Queen Amaya is alarmed: "No!  You yourself say forbidden magic is not the way!"  King: "A king must be prepared to do anything to protect his kingdom."  The king stares at the book (now glowing green) as if in a trance.  Queen: "First, you must protect yourself."  King, caressing the jeweled cover: "That's what I'm doing."  Queen: "We know nothing of these pages.  You command great magic.  But, with this book, I fear it commanding you.  Please, put that book down."  The king is persuaded by his wife's sound judgment.  He returns the book to its case.  He turns to his wife: "Oh, my love, excellent advice.  Rosas is so lucky to have you, as am I."

Asha tells King Magnifico her memories of her beloved father, who died when she was twelve.  King, referring to her father's illness and death: "That's not fair, is it?"  The king tells Asha they have something in common: "When I was young, I, too, suffered great loss."  The king tells her how thieves destroyed his homeland and his family.  King: "You see, I founded this kingdom so there would be a place where everyone is safe.  Asha, no one should ever have to see their dreams destroyed before their eyes."  Asha agrees: "No one should have to live their life feeling the pain of that loss every day."  King: "That's why I do what I do."  Asha: "And, that's why I want to work for you."


The king has trapped Asha at the top of his tower.  With all of the people's dreams turned to stone and the people themselves imprisoned by bonds of dark magic, the king believes he has won.  Asha lies at the edge of the tower, her strength almost gone.  She looks down on the people, chained and despairing.  But, she still believes there is hope as long as they stand together.  She begins to quietly sing.  King Magnifico strikes her again with his magic scepter: "You really need to learn to give up."  But, Asha refuses, continuing to sing to the people, begging them to join her: "I know that if you choose to stand beside me..."  The king stops her words with another attack.  But, Dahlia takes them up for her: "We'll be greater than all his magic combined."  Inspired by Asha and Dahlia the people begin to sing together.  The king, angered, fires bolts of magic down on them.  But they refuse to be silenced.  As their song grows louder and louder, the king's spell begins to be broken.  Their bonds are loosened and each new attack from the king has less and less power.  The light spreads to each and every person and even Asha gains new strength.  Together, they face the king, whose powers are now working against him.  Finally, he is imprisoned by his own black magic.
