ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Charles Wallace is sitting on a bench, coloring, when he begins to hear two teachers discussing his father's disappearance.  The boy fumes as he hears his teachers speculate as to why a father would abandon his children.  The adults throw out scandalous ideas ranging from alien abduction to an affair.  But when they extend their name-calling to Charles and his sister, the boy can stand no more.  He stands up, allowing the adults to see him for the first time.  Charles, pointing a finger at them: "Shame on you for talking like that!"  Embarrassed, the teachers begin to apologize, but quickly turn to the defensive as Charles continues: "And I'm not odd, you are, 'cause you think making up mean stories about people makes you feel better about yourselves!  Well, it doesn't, does it?"

Meg, Calvin, and Charles Wesley are riding on Mrs. Whatsit, who has transformed herself into an enormous leaf-like creature with a head like a flower.  Mrs. Whatsit flies high in the air and the children squeal in delight as they are taken for a tour of the beautiful planet.  Rolling green hills spotted with patches of bright colors meet a crystal-blue sea.  They follow a flock of flying flowers over a ridge and gasp at the vista below.  Mossy green mini planets grow like spores from the earth.  Some boast their own glassy lakes and cascading waterfalls.

Meg, frustrated, asks Mrs. Which why tessering is painful for her, yet glorious for the others.  Mrs. Which tells the girl that she doesn't tesser well because she is not at peace with who she is.  "You won't (tesser well) until you become one with the universe and yourself.  As it is, it seems like you don't even want to return as yourself."  Meg, half-seriously: "Well, is there any way I can return as somebody else?  That I might like?"  Mrs. Which stops and puts her hands on Meg's shoulders: "Do you realize how many events, choices that had to occur since the birth of the universe, leading to the making of you, just exactly the way you are?"

Mrs. Which tells of the IT, a force of pure evil currently trying to take over the universe.  It reaches black tentacles through the stars toward Earth, wrapping itself around the planet and influencing man to evil.  Mrs. Which: "The only thing in the universe that travels faster than light is the darkness.  The IT invades the place inside of us where hope and joy lives and replaces it with jealousy..."  Inside a school on Earth, a teacher is promoted to principal.  Underneath the smiles of congratulations lie hearts of bitterness and envy.  Mrs. Which, continuing to describe the IT's evil influence on man: "...and judgment."  An attractive teenage girl steps on a scale, disappointed in what she sees.  She looks at a magazine, comparing herself to the models she sees and finding herself wanting.  Mrs. Which, continuing: "...pain and despair."  An old man sits on a bench at night.  Several young men harass him, ripping apart his groceries and dumping them on the ground for the sheer fun of it.  In a suburban house, an irate father screams at his son for scoring only a B on an exam, calling him an idiot.  Mrs. Which: "You see, this is what the IT does...one person at a time...until fear takes over.  Fear turns to rage.  And rage leads to violence.  If we do not act soon, darkness will fall across the universe."

Meg and Calvin are running from a tornado-like force seeking to destroy them.  Trees are uprooted and thrown aside as the wave of chaos strikes.  A huge cloud of dust and debris forms behind the two as the very ground itself begins to dissolve.  Meg, screaming: "It's getting closer!  Go, go, go!  Faster!"  The two emerge from the forest and see an enormous wall of rock in the distance.  Meg: "We've got to get over the wall!"  They continue to run as fast as they can, but the force is getting closer and closer, eating up everything in its path.  Huge mounds of debris are now falling all around them.  Calvin urges Meg to move faster, but she sees now that their running is futile: "Faster is not gonna help."  The two stop and turn, seeing the force rise into a massive funnel cloud.  Meg screams and they resume running.  The cloud, growing ever larger, begins to suck up everything in sight.

Meg, Calvin, and Charles enter a quiet, suburban cul-de-sac.  Every beige house looks nearly identical, even down to the sterile landscaping.  In each driveway, a child bounces a red ball in exactly the same rhythm as all the others.  Every child stands the same way, in the same place, and stares straight ahead.  The effect is jarring and Charles begins to complain that his ears hurt from the sound.  Disturbed, Meg and Calvin watch as mothers simultaneously emerge from each house.  The women are dressed in 1950s era style, perfectly coiffed and made-up.  In stereo, the mothers call their children in for dinner.  The children silently comply, marching in step into their respective houses.  Disturbed, Calvin, Meg, and Charles can only stare.

Meg is surrounded by the evil IT.  Suddenly, she is pushed from behind and falls to the floor.  When she looks up at her attacker, she sees herself.  The new Meg is dressed in trendy clothing, her wild hair tamed and slicked into a popular style.  New Meg struts condescendingly around Meg, looking at her as if she were garbage.  IT: "Take a good look at her.  She's a better version of you.  She's sure to be popular.  Great student.  Principal Jenkins is going to love her.  Join us and I can make you just like her.  She's perfect."  Meg shakes her head, refusing to give into the temptation to change who she is to be popular: "No!"
