ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

It is Poland, 1944, and young Erik is one of many Jews being led into the German concentration camp.  Walking slowly in line with his parents, he sees the prisoners already inside the camp working in the rain.  He notices their prisoner numbers tattooed on their arms.  Suddenly, a soldier removes Erik from his parents and shoves him aside with the rest of the children.  His mother begins screaming and wailing, calling out to her son.  Erik tries to run after her, but several Nazi soldiers pull him back.  He is still screaming, "Mama!" when the gates to the camp are closed and barred.

Charles, hearing a strange sound in the middle of the night, creeps downstairs holding a baseball bat.  He enters the kitchen, only to find his mother foraging in the refrigerator.  He starts to confront her, but stops when she smiles, speaking to him.  He freezes, watching her in silence.  After she offers to make him a hot chocolate, Charles speaks, narrowing his eyes at her: "Who are you?  And what have you done with my mother?  My mother has never set foot in this kitchen in her life.  And she certainly never made me a hot chocolate, unless you count ordering the maid to do it."  Knowing her game is up, the mother-impersonator changes into her true shape...a young girl with yellow eyes and blue skin.  (Raven has the special ability to transform herself into anyone's image.)

Erik is in Argentina, searching for the man who killed his mother in a Nazi concentration camp.  He enters a bar and sees a photograph on the wall of his enemy, flanked by two men who are currently sitting in the bar.  He strikes up a conversation with them in German.  Excited to meet a fellow compatriot, the men share their professions.  One is a pig farmer, the other a tailor from Dusseldorf.  Erik tells the tailor his parents were from Dusseldorf, and joins the two men at their table.  The tailor asks Erik what his parents' names were.  Erik, lifting his glass for a toast with the men and smiling a smile that doesn't reach his eyes: "They didn't have a name.  It was taken from them.  By pig farmers (he clinks his glass with the farmer) and tailors (he clinks his glass with the tailor)."  The two men drink the toast, warily eyeing Erik.  As they put down their glasses, Erik slowly turns his forearm, exposing it to their view.  The two former Nazis see the tattoo of the Jewish concentration camp prisoner.  The tailor's eyes widen in fear.  The pig farmer quickly pulls a Nazi knife from his belt and tries to stab Erik.  Erik takes it from him and reads the German inscription: "Blood and honor.  Which would you care to shed first?"  The pig farmer begins his excuses: "We were under orders..."  Erik: "Blood then."  He mercilessly stabs the man through the hand.  Erik kills both of the men, as well as the bartender.  (Caution: "a----e" used once, in German)

The CIA has sent a special team to gather top secret information in Russia.  Leading the small team is Charles, a man who has the ability to control minds.  A Russian man is driving Charles and his team in a large truck when they are suddenly stopped by Russian soldiers.  The soldiers demand to see in the back of the truck.  The driver nervously opens the back of the truck, but steps back in surprise.  He and the Russian soldiers see nothing but an empty truck.  Inside, however, Charles is using his powers to control the minds of the Russians.  He makes them see an empty truck when, in reality, more than a half-dozen American soldiers are pointing their guns straight at the Russians.  Oblivious to the danger, the Russians allow the truck to move along.

Charles is teaching the young X-Men (humans with supernatural abilities) to control their gifts.  He takes Alex into his nuclear bunker to practice harnessing his powerful fire bolts.  Alex is reluctant to use his ability: "You know, when I do this, bad things tend to happen."  Charles, confidently: "That's because you can't control it...it controls you.  That's why we're here, Alex.  It's why we're training."  Next, Charles meets with Sean, whose voice is capable of shattering glass.  Charles is trying to teach him to direct his sound waves to more specific locations: "It's like any other muscle in the body.  You can control it."  Next, Charles is running with Hank.  The two discuss man's struggle to control his "animal" nature.  Charles tells Hank he knows that fear of losing control holds him back from using his gifts.  Finally, Charles is back with Alex.  He tells Alex to demonstrate his ability and try to control it.  Charles leaves the bunker momentarily, but on returning, he finds the entire bunker alight with flames.  Frantically, he begins extinguishing the fires.  Charles, determinedly: "I will teach you to control this, Alex."

Charles is on a mission to help his fellow mutants control their abilities.  He points out a giant satellite dish and asks Erik to try turning it to face them (Erik can move metal with his mind).  Erik tries and fails.  Charles knows that Erik has always drawn on his painful past to give him the rage necessary to power his abilities.  Believing good to be a better motivator than evil, Charles uses his powers of mind control to make Erik remember a long-forgotten, beautiful time with his mother.  Erik, visibly moved: "I didn't know I still had that (memory)."  Charles: "There is so much more to you than you know.  Not just pain and anger.  There is good too.  I felt it.  When you can access all of that, you'll possess a power no one can match.  Not even me."  Erik tries again to move the satellite...for the first time using joy rather than rage to give strength to his gift.  He succeeds.

Hank, a mutant with monkey-like feet, has been working on a serum that would allow him to look like a "normal" human being.  Believing his work to be a success, Hank excitedly brings his creation to Raven - - a fellow mutant who has expressed embarrassment over her blue skin.  Hank is disappointed to discover that Raven has had a change of heart.  Instead of being excited at the prospect of looking like everyone else, she tries to convince Hank that being different isn't bad.  Raven: "Should we have to hide?"  Hank: "I don't want to feel like a freak all the time.  I just want to look..."  Raven finishes his thought: "Normal."  She stops Hank as he moves to inject himself: "Hank, don't!  You're beautiful, Hank.  Everything you are...you are perfect.  We are different.  But we shouldn't be trying to fit into society.  Society should aspire to be more like us.  Mutant and proud."  Raven (who can assume other appearances) changes into her natural blue-skinned self.  Hank: "Even if we save the world tomorrow and mutants are accepted into society, my feet and your natural blue form will never be deemed beautiful."  Hurt, Raven changes back into her more "normal" appearance.  Hank: "You look beautiful now."  A tear courses down Raven's cheek.  Hank leaves and she picks up a syringe.

American and Soviet battleships surround an island on which mutant humans have converged.  Although most of the mutants are good and want to help mankind, the "normal" humans fear them and are seeking to destroy them.  The mutants discover that the ships intend to fire on them and try to contact the humans.  Their attempts at peace fail and the mutants are soon faced with a sky full of bombs headed their way.  Erik, who has the ability to control metal, is able to stop the bombs and hold them suspended in the sky over the island.  When Charles sees Erik begin to turn the bombs back toward the ships, he protests: "Erik, you said yourself, we're the better men.  This is the time to prove it."  Erik ignores him, continuing to turn the bombs toward his enemies.  Charles, becoming more desperate: "There are thousands of men on those ships!  Good, honest, innocent men!  They're just following orders."  Erik's face hardens (his parents were murdered by Nazi troops following orders).  Erik: "I've been at the mercy of men just following orders.  Never again."  Erik, with one swift move, sends the bombs shooting back toward the ships from which they came.
