ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* and *Standard CVLI Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 11,000+ Scene Ideas and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources. 

ScreenVue saves you hours of time finding that perfect movie illustration for next Sunday’s sermon, child or youth service, or video announcement! 

All Scene Ideas (using your own copy or rental; via Blu-ray, DVD, streaming or download) include a scene summary, themes and time cues.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 300,000+ songs and 4,500+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from almost 3,000 producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the Scene Ideas and Scene Downloads that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Scott has just been released from prison and is riding home with his former cellmate, Luis.  Scott thanks his friend not only for the ride, but also for the offer of a couch to sleep on.  Promising his friend he'll be back on his feet in no time, Luis tells him he has a lead on some illegal work.  Scott refuses, insisting he needs to reform in order to be a father for his daughter.  Luis looks surprised: "You know that jobs don't come easy for ex-cons, right?"  Scott, confidently: "Look, man.  I got a master's in electrical engineering, all right?  I'm gonna be fine."  Some time in the near future, Scott is standing behind a cash register in a pink uniform, serving ice cream to an unappreciative public.  His boss calls him back to the office for a chat.  Boss: "Three years at San Quentin, huh?"  Scott, morosely: "You found out."  Boss: "Baskin Robbins always finds out."  Scott, sincerely apologizing for his deception: "I'm sorry.  No one would hire me!"  Boss: "Breaking and entering.  Grand larceny."  Scott: "I'm sorry.  I don't do it anymore - -"  Here, Dale's speech takes a surprising turn as he tells Scott that he has a lot of respect for what he did (Scott stole millions from an unethical employer and returned it to his clients).  Scott is just beginning to have hope that he might still have a job: "I'm really very happy in this job and I appreciate the opportunity - -"  Dale interrupts: "Well, you're fired, of course.  Can't really keep you on."  Scott looks stunned: "It wasn't a violent crime.  I'm a really good worker!"  Dale, however, refuses to give Scott a second chance.  His only merciful act is to send Scott on his way with a free slushee.  (Caution: acronym "S.O.B." used)

Scott has just told Luis that he might be interested in a con-job Luis has heard about.  He asks Luis to give him the details.  In his usual verbose and excited manner, Luis proceeds to tell Scott about the job.  But his story is so full of he-said-she-said, unneccessary details, and slang that Scott has no clue what he is saying.  After Luis is finished telling the story of his cousin's friend's teammate's girlfriend's boss, Scott still has no idea what the job is about.  Kurt, who has been listening, translates with appropriate brevity: "Old man have safe."  Scott, finally comprehending, condenses Luis's many words down to the main point: "All right.  There's an old man, he's got a safe, and he's gone for a week.  Let's just work with that."  Luis, beaming: "You know what I'm sayin'?"  (Caution: a-word used)

Scott and his team are breaking into Dr. Pym's house to steal the treasure they are sure hides in his basement safe.  While Scott uses his burglary skills to secretly enter the house, the other three listen from a van nearby, ready to give Scott any assistance he might need.  When Scott tries to go into the basement, he discovers that it is protected by a fingerprint lock.  Thinking quickly and using items that could be found in any household junk drawer, Scott ingeniously makes a replica of Dr. Pym's fingerprint and successfully uses it to open the door.  Once downstairs, Scott is confronted by a second unwelcome surprise...the safe is a relic from 1910, made from the same steel as the Titanic.  Once again thinking and working quickly, Scott has the safe open in under a minute, using water, nitrogen, a blanket, and an air mattress.  Knowing Scott is inside the safe, Luis is eager to hear about the treasure he's surely found: "What is it?  Cash?  Jewels?"  Scott looks around, dumbfounded.  All that sits on the dusty shelves are some flasks of colored liquid and a motorcycle suit.  Scott: "There's nothing here!"  Luis: "There's no cash?  No jewelry?  Nothing?"  Scott, disappointed: "No.  It's a bust."

Scott is trying on the suit he found in Dr. Pym's safe.  He has just put it on and is examining his reflection in the bathroom mirror when Luis arrives home.  Unwilling for his friend to see him in something so silly, Scott climbs into the tub and closes the shower curtain.  Looking down at his metal-shrouded hands, he spots two red buttons.  Curious, Scott pushes them.  Instantly, he shrinks down to the size of an ant.  He looks around in shock at the vast canyon of the bathtub.  Dr. Pym's voice resonates in his helmet: "The world sure seems different from down here, doesn't it, Scott?"  But Scott doesn't have much time to be surprised by the voice.  Luis enters the bathroom and turns on the water, preparing to take a shower.  As the floodgates begin to pour from the faucet, tiny Scott finds that a shower is a deadly thing for an ant.  Swept away by the torrential downpour, Scott is thrown from the tub.  He barely has time to catch his breath, however, when the buckle from Luis's dropped pants knocks him into the air vent.  Falling, Scott lands in a disco club below, where a spinning record player and sharp needle almost serve as a death trap.  He then attempts to navigate his way across the dance floor, where dozens of high heels make a heart-pounding gauntlet for him to pass through.  He survives, only to fall through another grate into the apartment below, where he is vacuumed up by a housewife.  Miraculously, the cyclone inside the vacuum cleaner fails to kill him, but the mouse waiting outside the apartment makes a good attempt.  Using a mousetrap as a catapult, Scott launches himself outside the building and onto the roof of a car.  Breathing heavily, Scott resumes his original human size.  Dr. Pym's pleased voice sounds in his ear, telling him to keep the suit.  Scott, panting and terrified: "No, no, no!  No, thank you!"  (Caution: h-word used)

Dr. Pym is explaining to Scott why he should become the hero Ant Man.  Pym, referring to his adult daughter: "Before Hope lost her mother, she used to look at me like I was the greatest man in the world.  Now she looks at me and there's...there's just disappointment."  Pym's voice breaks a little and he is unaware that Hope is listening from around the corner.  Pym: "It's too late for me.  But not for you.  Now is your chance to earn that look in your daughter's eyes.  To become the hero that she already thinks you are."

Dr. Pym and Hope are training Scott to use his new super-suit.  Pym: "In the right hands, the relationship between suit and man is symbiotic.  The suit has power.  The man harnesses that power."  They close the bedroom door, directing Scott to run at the door, shrink himself, and leap through the key hole in one, seamless motion.  Standing behind the door, the Pyms wait for Scott to appear.  Over and over again, a thumping sound tells them that Scott has failed, instead slamming himself into the door.  Hope, whispering: "Useless."  Next, Hope decides to train Scott to punch.  Scott smiles condescendingly: "I was in prison for three years.  I think I know how to punch."  Hope: "Show me."  Scott's weak punch barely moves Hope's hand.  Scott, smiling, invites Hope to demonstrate her own punch.  Hope easily knocks him to the floor.

Dr. Cross, transformed into an evil super-villain, has come to get revenge on Scott by taking his little daughter captive.  Cassie screams for her Daddy just as Scott appears in her room.  The two men face-off in a miniature battle on top of Cassie's Thomas the Train set.  Cassie watches from the closet, but the men are so small that she mostly sees her toys flying at each other.  Cross uses his laser weapons to fire on Scott, but Scott's greatest asset is his army of ants.  The battle is an intense one from the level of the ant-sized men, but from Cassie's perspective it looks like child's play.
