ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Dr. Nogrady and his team of scientists have been searching space in an attempt to find a planet that could sustain life.  Nogrady has called a press conference to announce the success of their mission.  He proudly announces to the gathered press and scientists that they have discovered a planet with a similar situation to Earth and they are preparing to attempt communication with any life forms that may exist on the planet.  Nogrady, smiling: "Ladies and gentlemen, please prepare to bear witness to the making of history."  Nogrady gives the order for a communications transmission to be sent out to deep space.

Alex sees the beautiful Sam attempting to order a chicken burrito at the bar.  When the bartender refuses Sam's order, Alex steps up, hoping to impress Sam.  Instead, Sam is only irritated when Alex's poor attempts to convince the bartender to fire up a chicken burrito fail.  Undaunted, Alex asks Sam for five minutes in which to procure her the desired burrito.  Sam agrees and Alex runs off to the local mini mart.  Unfortunately for him, he arrives just as the front doors are being locked.  He begs the proprietress for a few minutes to buy a burrito, but she gets in her car and drives away.  A few minutes later, the security cameras outside the mini mart reveal Alex gracelessly shimmying up the side of the low building.  Next, inside the mini mart, the cameras show bits of plaster and ceiling tiles falling to the floor, just before Alex himself crashes to the ground.  He quickly heats up a burrito in the microwave, leaving money on the counter to pay for his prize.  Unfortunately, he leaves the mart even more gracelessly than he entered it, as the ladder he was using falls into the racks of merchandise and Alex himself crashes down on top of them, breaking dozens of bottles with the weight of his body.  From inside the bar, sirens can be heard approaching the mini mart.  Sam goes outside, seeing Alex running from yelling police officers, a burrito held up like a torch in his outstretched hand.  He runs in front of traffic, causing several cars to crash into each other, but he sees Sam ahead and starts shouting: "I got a burrito!"  Mere feet away from his goal, Alex is tazed by the officers, but he still drags his shaking body to the girl and gives her the burrito.  A second taze puts him out of commission, but not before Sam smiles down on him.

Alex and his soccer team are playing against Japan in the Navy championship match.  When Alex is kicked in the face by an opposing team member, his team earns a penalty kick, which gives them a final chance to tie up the game and go into overtime.  Stone, the team captain, approaches the injured Alex: "You all right?"  Alex: "I'm fine.  I don't need your help."  Believing Alex to be too injured to play, Stone orders another player into the game to take the penalty kick.  Angered, Alex argues with Stone, wanting to take the kick himself.  Finally, Stone gives in to Alex's arguments and allows him to take the kick.  The other team members disagree with the choice, believing Alex to be injured.  Even the game announcers are surprised at the decision: "If I was Stone, I would have picked another shooter."  Alex prepares to take the kick, boasting to his opponent of his certain victory.  However, when he takes the shot, it sails over the goal.  Alex's team watches as the Japanese players celebrate their victory.  Announcer: "It was a very poor attempt by the obviously injured Alex Hopper.  He refused to come out of the game and his stubbornness cost the United States."

Alex is fearfully watching Admiral Shane, his girlfriend's powerful father, dreading the moment when he asks for her hand in marriage.  Alex, protesting to his brother, Stone: "It's an obsolete tradition, this asking tor permission."  Stone: "Stop worrying about this and walk up and do what you gotta do."  Alex catches the admiral's cold gaze on him: "He's gonna smash my face in."  To drum up some courage, Alex goes to the bathroom and practices his speech in front of the mirror.  He stumbles awkwardly over his words several times, splashing his face with water to focus his thoughts.  Finally, he takes a deep breath and says to his reflection: "Sir, may I please marry your daughter?  She's everything I have, and I love her."

Brothers and Navy officers, Alex and Stone, are each commanding a group of sailors in the naval war games.  Stone addresses his men: "We are here to sharpen our skills as a team..."  Alex, on another ship, is addressing his own men while strutting around the room like a rooster: "This is a combat vessel and we will excel in our command and control.  We are here to crush every other ship."  Stone, seated casually in a chair, encourages his men: "I'm excited to see what we learn."  Alex, still strutting: "We are not here in this weapons room to learn."  Stone: "Be safe out there, look out for each other..."  Alex finishes his speech with threats warning against losing the competition, inspiring his men to comment negatively on his leadership skills.

Sam, a physical therapist, enters the Naval Physical Therapy building.  She walks past wounded veterans, many with prosthetic legs.  All of them are working out...climbing rock walls, using exercise equipment, lifting weights.  Sam enters a room where a soldier is on a machine designed to help him learn to use his new prosthetic legs.  The soldier, Mick, is responding angrily to the advice of the medical personnel.  Finally, he has had enough.  He orders the machine to be turned off.  A little while later, Sam introduces herself to Mick as his new physical therapist.  Sam: "I'm sensing a lot of anger."  Mick, sarcastically: "Very perceptive of you."  Sam: "Is there anything besides anger in there, Mick?"  Mick, staring at her coldly: "Not much."  Sam looks down at his chart: "Your last therapist says that you lost the will to fight."  Mick: "I lost my fight when I lost my legs."  Sam reminds Mick of his many awards and accomplishments, telling him that he is still that man.  Mick: "I'm half a man.  And half a man ain't enough to be a soldier.  That's all I've ever known."  (Caution: d-word used)

Three Navy warships are trapped inside a force field with hostile alien ships.  The aliens have begun to attack and the human sailors are struggling to fight back.  After watching the aliens injure his fellow sailors on another ship, Commander Hopper gives the order to fire on one of the alien ships.  The aliens fire in return, and Commander Hopper is stunned when he finds his ship seriously damaged and his own men struggling for survival.  Hopper runs to the outer deck and watches as the alien ship fires dozens of rounds directly at him.  He stares out at the water, knowing he is about to die.  Helplessly, his gaze follows the rounds as each one hits the hull of his ship.  He has time for one last, fearful glance toward his brother (a sailor on another ship) before his ship explodes in the water.  (Caution: h-word used)

A television newscast is covering the recent attack by hostile aliens.  Citizens all over the world watch the news coverage in fear, terrified that the world is coming to an end.  Newscaster, as footage shows riots and looting: "The news has sparked global unrest as populations panic, unleashing an unprecedented wave of chaos around the world.  Many governments have declared martial law."

The world is fighting against a hostile alien attack.  The success of the battle rests on the shoulders of a few brave men and women fighting against impossible odds.  At an island satellite communications center, two civilians have just succeeded in halting the aliens' communication with their home planet.  With one of the civilians now trapped in their wrecked vehicle, the other, Mick, a double-amputee, gets out of the vehicle and prepares to face the aliens alone.  Mick, staring boldly at the approaching alien: "I got this." Out on the ocean, a group of navy sailors aboard an ancient vessel are attempting to arm their ship with their last torpedo.  Their only hope is for five men to carry the 1,000 pound weapon the 500 feet that lies between the torpedo and the firing mechanism.  Determined to succeed in their mission, the men carry the weapon, their teeth gnashing in pain with the burden they bear.  Back on the island, Mick is fighting the alien in hand-to-hand combat.  The alien is about to strike a fatal blow when a scientist armed only with a metal suitcase saves Mick and allows him to overcome his enemy.  On the ship, the men carrying the torpedo struggle desperately for each inch they gain.  Finally, they reach their goal and the order is given to arm the torpedo.
