ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Viola and Todd are in the forest, sheltering from the rain under a tarp.  When Viola opens up to Todd and begins to tell him about the loss of her parents, he feels an instant connection to her.  They are both lonely, missing loved ones.  As Todd looks at the beautiful girl, she suddenly smiles at him and leans in for a kiss.  The kiss breaks up with the sound of an angry voice: "What are you doing?"  The image of Todd and Viola kissing disappears into mist, leaving a very guilty-looking Todd staring at a furious Viola.  (A side-effect of the planet they are on is that men's thoughts are audible and visible and Todd had only imagined the kiss.)  Embarrassed and ashamed, Todd apologizes and backs out of the shelter to sit in the rain.


Viola and her fellow space explorers are about to land on an unknown planet.  They hope to join a colony of settlers who were sent there decades earlier.  Excited, the men and women buckle into their seats to prepare to enter the planet's atmosphere.  Soon after entry, however, things begin to go terribly wrong.  Flames engulf the outside of the vessel and soon begin encroaching inside.  A rainbow-colored mist passes among the passengers.  Once it is gone, the thoughts of all the men onboard are now audible.  The captain, not knowing anyone can hear him, keeps thinking: "Don't freak out.  Don't freak out."  Noah looks at Viola, thinking: "We're gonna die!"  Viola: "What did you say?"  Noah, again thinking: "She heard that!  I'm so scared!"  As the flames engulf the cockpit, the pilot falls to the floor near Viola, dead or badly injured.  Viola now knows there is no hope for the vessel and unstraps her seatbelt.  She is immediately thrown to the wall by the force of the falling craft.  She struggles up the wall, her eyes on the emergency pod, desperate for survival.

Viola and Todd are running from Aaron, who is intent on killing them.  They make their way to the river with Aaron hot on their trail.  When Todd unties a boat, Viola fearfully admits she can't swim, but their situation is dire enough for the girl to risk it.  As they begin to furiously paddle out onto the water, Aaron catches up to them on his horse.  He rides the horse into the water and quickly gains ground.  Just then, they reach a short waterfall leading into some white water rapids.  Viola and Todd's small boat tips over the falls, but they manage to land upright in the rapids below.  They continue paddling as Aaron follows them over the falls.  Abandoning his horse, Aaron swims to the boat and tries to grab Viola.  Todd tries to keep Aaron from pulling Viola into the water and the boat capsizes.  Now they are all being carried away in the swift current.  Viola struggles just to keep her head out of the water.  Finally, Todd and Viola are able to make it back to the upturned boat and hang on for dear life.


Todd is walking through town.  On his way to see the mayor, he is almost assaulted by the thoughts of all of the men around him.  (The planet's unique feature is that all men's thoughts are audible and often visible.)  The first person he walks by is Aaron, who stares after him thinking thoughts of judgment.  Todd's own thoughts are pouring out for all to hear, and he attracts the attention of everyone in town with his memories of the spaceship he just saw.  Man, thinking disparagingly: "Here comes that boy."  Another man's thoughts: "Get out of my face."  As the men hear Todd's thoughts of the spaceship, they begin to follow him and soon it becomes exceedingly difficult for Todd to even hear his own thoughts.  Men's thoughts flow freely, unchecked and unfiltered.  With everyone's thoughts audible, the noise creates confusion.  The crowd follows Todd to the Mayor's house, seeking clarity in the midst of chaos.

Todd must free climb several stories high, up the interior of a massive, wrecked spaceship, in order to restore a broken antenna.  Without the antenna connection, they will be unable to contact their rescue ship.  Todd's only handholds up the sheer metal face are a few bars and a couple of poles jutting out of the surface.  Mentally, he encourages himself as he works his way upward: "Come on, Todd.  You got this.  Don't look down."  Dangling hundreds of feet from one of the poles, Todd reflexively looks down.  The distance to the bottom is enough to scare him into movement.  Grunting from exertion, he pulls himself up to the next bar.  Several times, he nearly falls, hanging from one arm while desperately trying to regain his footholds.  It is a climb that would daunt even an experienced mountain climber.  At last, he makes it to the top and plugs in the antenna.  Viola watches in relief as the computer screen reads: "Antenna connected."
