ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Bruce and Alfred are looking at the rap sheet of a slick cat burglar when Alfred, only partly joking, suggests she would make a good companion for Bruce.  The butler has watched his master spend years in isolation, mourning the sudden loss of his love, and Alfred wants Bruce to rejoin the land of the living.  Bruce, who confines himself to a few rooms inside his home: "There's nothing out there for me."  Alfred tells Bruce he needs to move on from his grief and find a new love.  Bruce, closing his eyes as the pain washes over him again: "I did find someone."  Alfred: "I know, and you lost them.  But that's all part of living, sir.  But you're not living.  You're just waiting, hoping for things to go bad again."

Officer Blake has come to ask Bruce to resurrect Batman and help save Gotham from a secret underground army.  Bruce, thinking no one knew of his secret identity, wonders how Blake acquired the knowledge.  Blake tells Bruce that he, too, is an orphan.  Relating a little of his sad history, Blake shares how his parents both died tragically when he was small.  The events led to Blake being placed in foster care, but his foster parents could little understand the suffering behind the angry boy they were trying to help.  Blake, referring to Bruce's own loss: "Not a lot of people know what it feels like, do they?  To be angry...in your bones.  I mean, they understand...foster parents...everybody understands...for awhile.  And then they want the angry little kid to do something he knows he can't do.  Move on.  So, after awhile, they stop understanding.  They send the angry kid to a boys' home.  I figured it out too late.  You gotta learn to hide the anger.  It's like putting on a mask."  Blake tells Bruce that he once saw him at the orphanage and he recognized the same masked pain on his face.

Bruce, surprising Selina at a charity event, asks her to dance and subtly confronts her regarding her work as a cat burglar.  Revealing knowledge about her personal life, he suggests that she is in deep debt to dangerous criminals.  Selina, bitterly reflecting on the difference between Bruce's pampered birth and her own struggle for survival, believes she has some justification in resorting to a life of crime: "I started out doing what I had to."  However, deep in her heart, she wishes she could live a different life, but feels powerless to do so: "Once you've done what you've had to, they never let you do what you want to."  Bruce: "Start fresh."  Selina, bitterly: "There's no fresh start in today's world."  Selina tells Bruce that everything we do is measured, recorded, and charged against our account, never to be erased or forgotten: "Everything sticks."

Bane has imprisoned Bruce in an underground prison, telling the man he intends on torturing his soul.  Pointing to a long, treacherous tunnel in the roof of the prison, Bane tells how the view of daylight has fooled many past prisoners into thinking they had a hope of freedom.  Bane: "There's a reason why this prison is the worst hell on earth:  hope."  The climb up the tunnel looks deceptively simple, giving the prisoners the false hope of escape.  Bane continues: "Like shipwrecked men turning to seawater from uncontrollable thirst, many have died trying.  I learned here that there can be no true despair without hope.  So, as I terrorize Gotham, I will feed its people hope to poison their souls.  I will let them believe that they can survive so that you can watch them clamoring over each other to stay in the sun.  You can watch me torture an entire city."

Gotham Stadium is packed full with spectators preparing to watch a football game.  As the national anthem is sung by a young boy, the last details of a plot to take over the city fall into place.  The evil Bane stands with a detonator inside the stadium, ready to push the button after the opening kick.  The crowd cheers as the game begins and players rush down the field after the kickoff.  The detonator sets off a series of explosions around the city.  The entire city infrastructure has been laid with explosive cement.  Tunnels under the city begin to collapse first, trapping almost the entire police force inside the rubble.  The spectators begin to scream in fear as the stadium field begins to systematically collapse right from under the players.  An aerial view of the city shows all the major roadways exploding and all bridges leading into the island city falling into the water.

The evil Bane has discovered a secret hidden by Commissioner Gordon and he is using that lie to cast doubts on the right of the current government to rule the people.  Hoping to create a state of anarchy, Bane exposes the lie that Gordon told, implying that everyone in the government is corrupt.  Blake and Gordon are watching the live news coverage of Bane's speech on television.  Blake, looking with some disgust at his former hero, confronts him for lying: "You betrayed everything you stood for."  Gordon still believes his wrong was necessary to prevent a greater wrong: "There's a point far out there when the structures fail you, when the rules aren't weapons anymore...they're shackles, letting the bad guy get ahead.  One day, you may face such a moment of crisis.  And in that moment, I hope you have a friend like I did...to plunge their hands into the filth so that you can keep yours clean!"  Blake, scornfully: "Your hands look plenty filthy to me, Commissioner."

The evil Bane is encouraging the poor of Gotham to take over the city from the "corrupt" wealthy, to throw off the shackles of government, and to rule themselves.  Bane: "We take Gotham from the corrupt!  The rich!  The oppressors of generations who have kept you down with myths of opportunity."  At Bane's instigation, the discontent of the city attack the wealthy, depriving them of their possessions, their freedom, and sometimes their lives.  Chaos reigns as the prisons are stormed and criminals set free.  The wealthy are shoved out of their homes, their possessions strewn in the street to be picked over by anyone who desires them.  Bane: "The powerful will be ripped from their decadent nests and cast out into the cold world that we know and endure."  Women in furs and men in suits are drug before an all-powerful judge who pronounces them guilty without trial.  Bane: "Courts will be convened.  Spoils will be enjoyed.  Blood will be shed!"  Promising a better city, Bane is actually destroying it, using the chaos to arm an atom bomb ready and able to annihilate all of Gotham.

Bruce is trapped in an underground prison.  A long, treacherous tunnel shows a glimpse of daylight from the outside world to the prisoners beneath.  Training his body physically, Bruce hopes to climb the tunnel and escape to freedom.  A blind, old prisoner tells Bruce that he will never escape by sheer physical strength.  Ignoring his advice, Bruce attempts the climb, only to fall quickly.  Saved from death only by the rope around his waist, Bruce spends some time in unconsciousness.  When he recovers, Bruce awakens to find the blind man nearby.  Blind prisoner: "You do not fear death.  You think this makes you strong.  It makes you weak.  How can you move faster than possible, fight longer than possible, without the most powerful impulse of the spirit...the fear of death?"  The man tells Bruce that the only way he can hope to succeed is without the rope.  Only by removing his only tether to safety will Bruce have the power to make the jump to freedom.

Deputy Police Commissioner Peter Foley is hiding out in his home, trying to escape the attention of the thugs now running the city of Gotham.  Commissioner Gordon angrily arrives at the house to demand that Foley help to take a stand against the evil invaders.  Foley's wife answers Gordon's knock, claiming Foley is away from home.  Gordon, yelling toward the back of the house: "You let your wife come to the door when the city's under occupation?"  Foley steps out from behind his wife's back.  Gordon, accusingly: "What did you do, bury your uniform in the back yard?"  Foley, defensively, says the situation is hopeless with the government under the control of the evil Bane.  Foley: "Look, we've all got to keep our heads down till they can fix this."  Foley cites fear for his family as a reason for remaining hidden.  Gordon, desperate: "This only gets fixed from inside the city!"  Deliberately toning down his voice, Gordon makes one last appeal for Foley's help in fighting the evil that has taken over Gotham:  "Look, Peter, I'm not asking you to walk down Grand in your dress blues, but something has to be done."  Foley, beginning to turn away: "Sorry, Jim, I gotta - -"  Gordon interrupts: "Keep your head down?"  Foley shuts the door in his face.  (Caution: crude phrase 'b---s in a vice' used)

Batman leads Catwoman to a specialized motorcycle capable of travelling at fast speeds and breaking through a collapsed tunnel.  He wants her to clear the tunnel and return to the city to help him save Gotham.  Catwoman blithely announces her intention of blasting through the tunnel and escaping to ensure her own safety.  Catwoman: "You don't stand a change against these guys."  Batman: "With your help, I might."  Catwoman: "I'll open that tunnel, then I'm gone."  Batman, looking into her eyes: "There's more to you than that."  Catwoman looks vulnerable for a moment, then her face hardens: "Sorry to keep letting you down."  After a few moments, she lets down her guard and begs Batman to come with her: "Save yourself.  You don't owe these people any more.  You've given them everything."  Batman, knowing he still has his life to give: "Not everything.  Not yet."

Tattered American flags wave in the wind as a small army of police officers stand waiting in the street.  Deputy Commissioner Foley walks to the front of the ranks, staring at the horde of angry mercenaries facing them.   Foley begins to walk slowly forward, encouraging his men to follow: "There's only one police in this town."   Bane steps out of a building and watches the officers approach his men.  Foley, fearful but determined, continues walking forward even as Bane's tanks arm their weapons.  Just as the tanks are about to fire, Batman swoops down in The Bat (his high-tech aircraft), attacking the tanks and buying time for the officers.  The encouraged policemen cheer and begin running forward to fight.  The two opposing groups come together in fierce hand-to-hand combat.  The street is flooded with brawling bodies - - men in uniform versus savage mercenaries.  And, in the middle of them all, Batman and Bane face each other.   Bane, arrogantly: "So, you came back to die with your city."   Batman: "No.  I came back to stop you."   The hero and the villain begin to fight.

Knowing Batman is about to save the city of Gotham at the cost of his life, Commissioner Gordon asks him his identity, wanting Gotham to know the hero to whom they will owe their lives.  Batman, subtly giving the commissioner a clue: "A hero can be anyone.  Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy's shoulders to let him know the world hadn't ended."  Now knowing that Batman is Bruce Wayne, Gordon watches with both sorrow and hope as the hero attempts to fly an atom bomb out of the city before it detonates.  From a bridge overlooking the city, Blake (another who knows Batman's identity) and group of children watch as The Bat appears from a cloud of smoke, the bomb trailing underneath.  Eyes once devoid of hope turn hopeful as the chance for survival suddenly seems possible.  Blake, realizing Batman is knowingly headed to his death, watches solemnly as the aircraft carries the bomb out into open water.  The bomb explodes, sending a mushroom cloud into the sky -- obliterating The Bat.  The crowds cheer as they realize they are saved, but the few who knew the man behind the mask mourn quietly.  Commissioner Gordon stands next to Wayne's grave, quoting from Dickens: "I see a beautiful city and a brilliant people rising from this abyss.  I see the lives for which I lay down my life, peaceful, useful, prosperous, and happy.  I see that I hold a sanctuary in their hearts and in the hearts of their descendants, generations hence.  It is a far, far better thing that I do than I have ever done.  It is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known."
