ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Movie Ideas, Movie Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 4,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  part of the ScreenVue Vault.

All such service providers are contractually required to keep your data safe, use it only for the purposes agreed, and delete it when it is no longer required. They have agreed not share it, nor use it for their marketing purposes.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas, Movie Views, and Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View or Download.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Greg arrives at his first day of middle school, prepared for the worst.  He walks through the front doors, encountering a world of chaos and confusion.  Kids are everywhere, paper missiles are flying through the air, and little Greg has to avoid being trampled by the stampede.  A hopeful, but unrealistic sign over the door reads: "Respect, honor, dignity."  Greg thinks to himself bitterly: "Let me just say for the record that I think middle school may be the dumbest idea ever invented."  Greg watches as a helpless boy has his books knocked out of his arms by a passing bully.  Greg continues thinking: "You got kids like me who haven't hit their growth spurt yet mixed in with gorillas who have to shave twice a day."  Gregg spies a tall, lanky boy sporting a burgeoning mustache and masses of underarm hair.  Greg, small for his age, finds himself knocked about by passing kids.  He continues his mental description of the middle school scene: "There's juvenile delinquents and weirdos..."  He passes an angry boy beating up his locker and a boy with a used gum collection who is tasting his older specimens.  Greg, walking through a crowd of girls at least a foot taller than himself: "I'm smaller than about 95% of the kids at my school...so thank God for Chirag Gupta."  Greg turns on hearing the sound of a screaming boy: "Give it back!  Stop!"  The tiny Indian boy leaps futilely into the air in an attempt to rescue his book bag from several grinning bullies.  Greg, thinking as he walks by the helpless Chirag: "He's an excellent buffer between me and these morons."  A tall, red-haired boy walks up and greets Greg by name.  Greg, obviously not recognizing the boy: "Hey...fella."  The boy stares after his old friend in confusion as Greg thinks about the pubescent changes taking place in his peers.  Their new stage of life has made them almost unrecognizable as the children they were only a few short months ago.  Greg: "Seriously, I don't know what happened to these kids over the summer."  A current photo of the red-haired teen appears next to his previous year's class picture.  They contrast a cute, smiling child with an awkward, acne-plastered adolescent.  Greg wonders to himself about the change in his classmates: "Was there a nuclear accident?  Science experiment gone bad?"  More photos appear with similar drastic changes.  Greg continues: "Thank God there are a few normal people or this place would be a total freak show."  Greg's current photo appears next to the previous year's photo, matching exactly except for the T-shirts.

Greg and Rowley are suffering through their first day of middle school.  Waiting for P.E. to begin, the two boys sit together on the bleachers.  Greg: "Rowley, if you had to say where you were ranked in terms of popularity from one to 200, where would you put yourself?"  Rowley, his nose smeared with white sunscreen: "Is 200 good or bad?"  Greg ranks his chubby friend lower than himself: "I'd say you're somewhere around the 154 mark.  I'd put myself around number 19 or 20."  Greg continues, confidently: "I might even have a shot at the top spot by the end of the year, if things go the way I think they will."  Rowley: "Well, who's at the bottom?"  Just then, a small, freckled boy with masses of unruly red hair walks up to the two boys.  His huge glasses magnify his eyes as he excitedly asks them if they want to see his secret freckle.  Without waiting for a response, he lifts his shirt.  Both boys recoil in horror.  Greg, thinking to himself, ranks the red-haired boy at the bottom of the food chain: "Fregley.  Sent home for hygiene issues at least once a month."  Fregley, giggling: "Check it out.  It's got a hair in it!"  Rowley, disgusted, stares at the freckle: "What color is that?"  Fregley decides to bestow the ultimate honor on his new friends: "Wanna help me name it?"

Attempting to avoid a brutal beating in P.E., Greg and Rowley are hiding out at the end of the field.  Greg, mouth agape, spots something lying on the blacktop: "Whoa!"  He whispers in an awed voice: "Check that out."  The two boys walk over to the mysterious object lying on the ground.  Rowley: "Is that cheese?"  The square mass shows a faint orange hint beneath the blobs of mold.  Greg bends slowly, with one finger extended, to examine the strange substance.  Just before his finger touches the cheese, Chirag screams: "Stop!"  The boys look up.  Chirag: "Good God, man!  You almost got the Cheese Touch."  Chirag explains the story of the cheese to Greg and Rowley: "Nobody knows when or how, but one day that cheese mysteriously appeared on the blacktop.  Nobody knew who it belonged to.  Nobody touched it.  Nobody threw it away.  And so there it sat, growing more foul and powerful by the day.  Then, one day, a kid named Darren Walsh made the biggest mistake of his life."  Flashing back to the scene of the story, a small boy is seen approaching the cheese.  He stoops down, touching the cheese.  Immediately a girl yells: "Darren touched the cheese!"  Darren spins around, denying her accusation: "No I didn't.  I just looked at it!  Really!"  Darren stands in horror as every one of his peers runs, screaming, away from him.  Chirag continues the tale: "Darren had the Cheese Touch.  It was worse than nuclear cooties.  He became an outcast."  Young Darren is seen despairingly chasing people around the school, desperate for human contact.  Rejected by all and left alone, Darren sinks to his knees, crying.  Chirag continues: "The only way to get rid of the Cheese Touch was by passing it on to someone else."  Darren touches an unsuspecting girl, automatically transferring his social rejection on to her.  Her friends scatter in all directions.  Chirag: "And so began the Cheese Touch Frenzy.  Friend turning on friend.  Brother turning on sister.  It was madness.  Until a German exchange student named Dieter Muller took it away."  After being touched by an infected peer, a confused Dieter turns in circles, asking the fleeing students: "Vat is it?  Vat does it mean, ze Cheese Touch?"  Chirag: "Sadly for Dieter, that fact was lost in translation.  Thankfully, he moved back to Dusseldorf and took the Cheese Touch with him."  A screaming Dieter is shown being driven away from his host house, his face pressed against the glass.  Chirag: "And so the cheese sits, patiently waiting for its next victim."  Rowley and Greg: "Wow."  Chirag stares into the distance: "This is a terrible place."

Greg and Rowley are about to enjoy their first experience in the middle school cafeteria.  Greg, thinking to himself: "The cafeteria, possibly the cruelest place on Earth."  The two boys make their way into the crowded room filled with students eating at tables.  Greg, thinking confidently: "But I was about to make some kid's day by sitting next to him."  Greg walks up to an empty chair, but the boy seated next to it objects: "That seat's saved."  Greg, smiling awkwardly: "For who?"  Boy, contemptuously: "It's saved."  Greg moves to an empty seat on the other side of the boy.  Boy: "That one's saved too."  Greg approaches another empty chair, but a girl quickly puts her hand on it, saying rudely: "So not happening."  Greg is rejected at the next seat as well, and the next.  Greg and Rowley are now left with no options.  Rowley: "Where are we supposed to eat?"  Several minutes later, two boys carelessly toss the garbage off their trays into the cans.  Several stray pieces land on Greg and Rowley, seated on the floor beside the garbage cans.  The two boys desultorily eat their lunch, ignoring the falling garbage.  They are joined by the school's biggest nerd, Fregley.  Fregley, excited to see the boys: "I guess this is where all the cool guys hang out."  Fregley sneezes, staring at the results in his hand.  Greg shifts awkwardly away.

Greg feels that his first day of middle school could have been a lot worse.  Greg, thinking to himself as he walks down the front steps of the school: "Okay, okay, so my first day could have gone better, but as least I wasn't humiliated."  Just then, Greg's best friend, Rowley, yells after him from the top of the steps: "Hey, Greg!  You want to come over and play?"  Greg freezes in horror.  Every teen stops their conversation to stare at Greg.  Greg turns around to look at the innocently smiling Rowley.  Quentin struts up to Greg: "What did he just say to you?"  Greg, smiling nervously: "Oh.  I think my ride's here."  Quentin calls attention to Rowley's embarrassing gaffe: "Hey, guys.  So this guy says to that guy, 'You wanna come over and play?'"  Rowley's face breaks into another innocent smile.  He puts an arm around Greg, not realizing Quentin is making fun of him: "Yeah!  Do you guys wanna play with us?"  Quentin laughs mockingly, giving his friend a high-five.  Greg hides a humiliated heart underneath a fake laugh.  Inwardly, he thinks: "Right now I have to take abuse from these morons.  But in 20 years, Quentin here will be working for me."  Greg imagines the future scenario - - a quivering, aging Quentin wears brown coveralls with his name stitched on the front.  He begs Greg: "Greg, please don't fire me.  I really need my measly, pathetic job scooping your dog's poop."  Greg has imagined himself the body of a male model and he lounges on the grounds of his huge mansion.  A butler stands in the background waiting for Greg's next order.  Adult Greg (in child Greg's voice): "Whatever.  I'll think about it."  A beautiful maid drops off a huge ice cream sundae.  Adult Greg, irritated: "No, no, no.  Vanilla on the bottom and chocolate on the top!  I can't eat this!"

Greg, still burning from the shame of Rowley publicly inviting him to come over and 'play,' tries to teach his friend a lesson about fitting in in junior high.  Greg: "I've told you, like, a billion times that guys our age say 'hang out,' not 'play.'"  Rowley, walking his bike beside Greg: "Oops."  Greg: "Seriously, if you're not gonna listen to me, just tell me, 'cause if you pull another stunt like that, we'll be stuck on the cafeteria floor for the rest of middle school."  (Rowley and Greg, unable to find anyone willing to sit beside them, had to eat on the floor beside the garbage cans.)  Rowley, his usual cheery self, sees the bright side of things: "I found half a Snickers bar down there."  Greg, however, is aspiring toward greater social status: "I can't be the guy who eats off his lap in the cafeteria.  I should be at the top of the food chain by now.  Something's got to change...fast."  Rowley, smiling: "My mom told me to just be myself and people would like me."  Greg raises his eyebrows, looking down at Rowley's pink 'Joshie' bike, complete with handlebar tassels: "That would be good advice if you were somebody else."

Greg and his classmates are watching a video in class entitled: 'It's Awesome to Be Me.'  Intended to inspire kids to just be themselves to gain the approval of others, the cheesy 1980's video fails miserably.  Narrator: "In this school, much like your own, one boy is about to learn an important lesson about self-worth and esteem."  Teen actress, in a Valley-girl accent: "Gag me with a spoon.  That guy is so unpopular, I'd hate to be him.  Ewwww."  The girl points at a fat, sloppy-looking guy sitting with his chin in his hand.  The boy sighs: "Why doesn't anybody like me?"  Voice: "Maybe because they don't know how awesome you really are."  The boy stands up, searching for the source of the voice.  His mouth gapes in excited astonishment: "Brock Brannigan, P.I.!  What are you doing here?"  The aging television star, wearing a loud floral-print shirt, winks at the camera.  Brock: "I'm here to solve the case of the boy who just needed to be himself.  So go for it!  Show them how awesome you really are!"  Energized, the boy walks up to the girl who had previously slighted him: "Hey, guys.  Do you like break dancing?"  The boy runs over to a large cassette player, starting the music.  He rushes back to the dance floor.  The overweight teen crouches down to begin, but as the camera pans down, the chubby boy is obviously replaced by a lithe, toned teen, wearing the same olive green shirt.  The replacement teen break dances, to the astonishment of his watching peers.  Girl: "That is totally rad!"  Cool boy: "Wicked.  You should sit with us at lunch, friend."  As the teen stands up, he is replaced by the original overweight, nerdy boy.  Nerdy boy: "Sweet!  It really is awesome to be me.  Thanks, Brock."  Brock, again winking at the camera, gives a thumbs-up sign.  The video ends and the teens indifferently look around the room.  The only one visibly impacted by the hypocritical video is the nerdiest boy in school, Fregley, who wipes tears from his eyes.

After watching the inspirational video 'It's Awesome to Be Me,' Greg feels that it is, indeed, awesome to be him.  However, he looks over at his friend Rowley with pity, thinking: "The problem with Rowley is that he's not enough like me."  Rowley, a good-natured, chubby boy who marches to the beat of his own drum, holds up the hand of a skeleton, waving it at Greg.  Greg smiles back, thinking: "I can't ditch him 'cause he'd be lost without me.  But maybe I can fix him.  Because that's the kind of friend I am."  Later on, Greg is going through Rowley's dresser, throwing rejected clothes on the floor.  Rowley: "What are you doing?"  Greg: "Making your clothes more middle-school friendly.  Look at this stuff."  Greg holds up a pastel shirt with two kittens wearing basketball gear: "Too babyish and weird."  He holds up another shirt, decorated with a strange cartoon face: "Too 'Why don't you just punch me now?'"  Greg holds up a blue-checkered shirt with white zigzag fringe, resembling part of a polka ensemble: "What are you, a foreign exchange student?"  Greg stands, holding another shirt: "Oh, man.  This one we burn."  The shirt displays a photo of Rowley and his mom, reading, 'Me and My Mommy.'  Rowley, grabbing the shirt, protests: "That was a present from my mom!"  Greg takes the shirt back, throwing it to the floor: "Well, then your mom is trying to get you killed."  Next, Greg and Rowley move outside to practice walking cool.  Rowley ambles around the yard, carrying his backpack with both straps over his shoulders.  Greg, shaking his head: "No, no, no.  You look like one of the Seven Dwarfs.  You only need one strap.  One strap is cool."  Greg takes the backpack from Rowley and demonstrates the appropriate method himself.  Rowley, confused: "But there's two straps.  Why would they put on two straps if you're only supposed to use one?"  Greg: "Because the guys who make backpacks aren't cool.  If they were cool, they'd give it one strap, like the cool one-strap guys do.  You know what has one strap?  Machine guns.  You know what else?  Electric guitars.  You know what else?"  Rowley attempts a guess: "Purses?"  Next, Greg moves on to Rowley's pink Joshie bike.  Rowley: "But Joshie is cool."  Greg: "Rowley, Joshie is not cool.  He's a lip-synching pop star whose fans are eight-year-old girls."  Rowley: "You're just jealous that I was the one who discovered him."  Greg: "Who are you gonna listen to, Rowley?  Me or Joshie?"  Rowley: "Joshie says to respect your parents and follow your dreams."  Greg, kneeling next to the bike with a can of black spray paint: "Then Joshie must get beat up a lot."  Greg begins painting the bike.  Finally, the new and 'improved' Rowley arrives at school the next day.  He awkwardly steers his bike, attempting to ride with only one strap of his backpack over his shoulder, causing the bike to lurch toward one side.  He parks next to Greg, who exclaims: "Wow.  You actually almost look as good as me.  Am I great at this, or what?"

Greg is drawing a picture in his kitchen at home.  His mom walks into the room: "You've been home for an hour and haven't badgered me for any snacks.  Are you feeling okay?"  Greg: "Well, I'm kind of in a tough situation.  I know something and if I tell the truth about it, it could hurt somebody.  But if I don't, it could hurt somebody else."  Mom: "Well, you have to trust your gut and try to do the right thing because it's our choices that make us who we are."  Greg's mom pats his hand comfortingly and walks out of the room.

Greg is playing the part of a singing tree in the 'Wizard of Oz' production at his school.  While he and his two fellow trees perform their song, Greg looks around at the faces in the audience.  Greg's smile fades as he sees his former best friend whispering with his new buddy.  Greg looks away and sees his obnoxious older brother video-taping his performance.  His brother signals to him, communicating his intention to use the video as future blackmail material.  Greg, now self-conscious, stops singing.  The tree on his right notices Greg's silence and stops singing himself.  Finally, the tree on the left becomes aware that his is the only voice being heard.  Startled, he stops singing and soon only the piano is heard.  Thinking the kids have forgotten their lines, the pianist (also the drama coach) moves closer to the stage and gives them a prompt.  By now, with the audience laughing, the trees are frozen in fear.  From backstage, the ambitious Dorothy is furious that her play is being ruined.  She yells at the trees: "Sing!"  The drama coach, confused, looks in her direction.  Again, Dorothy yells: "Sing!"  Greg's parents look uncomfortable with their son's awkward situation.  Finally, Dorothy stamps her foot angrily on the stage, screaming: "Sing!"  Dorothy walks out onto the stage, yelling at Greg: "Come on, Greg Heffley!  Stop ruining the play like you ruin everything else!  Don't make me come over there and beat you up again!"  She again stomps her foot in anger.  Greg, tired of her abuse, pulls an apple off of his costume and throws it at her.  Without flinching, Dorothy catches it in one clawed hand.  Howling with fury, Dorothy throws the apple back at Greg.  It hits him hard in the chest, starting an all-out war.  All three trees are now throwing apples at Dorothy.  Greg's brother, still filming, is thoroughly enjoying the fight, but the rest of the audience is torn between shock and chuckles.  Finally, Dorothy runs, screaming, toward Greg and takes him out in a flying leap.  The stage hands quickly begin to close the curtain as the brawl continues.

Greg and his mom are attending the Mother-Son school dance together.  After Greg refuses to dance with her, his mother spots Greg's former best friend, Rowley, across the room.  Mother: "Well, if we're not here to dance, maybe you should go talk to Rowley.  I think it's time you two made up."  Greg, fearfully: "I can't."  He looks sadly over at his old friend.  Mother, turning Greg to look at her: "Sweetheart, he's your best friend.  And sometimes, when somebody's worth it, you just have to put yourself out there."  Greg: "I wouldn't know what to say."  Mother: "Well, I could go for an ice cream after the dance.  Maybe you could invite him to join us."  Greg smiles at his mom and walks toward Rowley.  Encountering his friend at the punch table, Greg attempts a confident greeting: "Hey, Rowley."  Rowley looks up without smiling: "Hey."  Greg, nervously: "So you want to go get some ice cream after?"  At that moment, Rowley's new best friend, Collin, walks up with two ice cream cones.  Collin, slightly coldly: "I'm sorry.  We already have plans."  He hands a cone to Rowley.  Greg, still smiling nervously, looks at Rowley.  Rowley: "Yeah.  We do."  Greg tries covering over his hurt with an attitude of nonchalance: "Oh, fine.  My mom wanted me to ask.  So I did.  I didn't even want to go."  Greg returns to the table where his mother sits.  Seeing her son's disappointed face, his mother takes a deep breath before asking: "Well?"  Greg just shakes his head sadly.

At wrestling, Greg tricks his way into a higher weight class, only to confront his nemesis: Patty Farrell.
