ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

A man fishing on the beach has discovered a dolphin trapped in a crab pot and asks to use Sawyer's phone to call the authorities.  While the man is distracted by the phone call and a prospective catch, Sawyer crouches to examine to wounded animal.  The dolphin lies helpless on the beach, the rope of the crab pot wound around its tail and face.  The animal, unable to free itself, only has enough strength to twitch its head and tail occasionally.  Sawyer, touched with compassion, strokes the dolphin's head before cutting him free from the crab pot.  Murmuring comforting words, he gently removes the rope from the dolphin's snout, revealing a raw wound on its nose.  While he waits for the authorities to arrive, Sawyer kneels in the waves, stroking the dolphin's head.  The dolphin whistles appreciatively.

Hazel is showing Sawyer around the marine hospital.  They visit the dolphin pool, where two dolphins cheerfully bob up out of the water at their approach.  Hazel tells Sawyer to wave at them, and they happily wave their fins in return.  The animals click and squeak, communicating with the two humans and each other.  Hazel: "Do you know that dolphins need to be in a pool with other dolphins?  It's a law, because they're so social.  Like us."

Sawyer and his mother have come to the veteran's hospital to visit Sawyer's cousin, Kyle.  Recently wounded and now partially paralyzed, Kyle has been avoiding contact with his family.  When the two enter the lab where a doctor is fitting a brace to Kyle's useless leg, Kyle turns his wheelchair around to face away from Sawyer.  He stares at the floor silently while the doctor speaks with Kyle's family.  The doctor smiles on hearing the identity of the two visitors: "Family.  Very healing.  Or so I'm told.  Mine always makes me want to sharpen cutlery."  Sawyer, who looks on Kyle as a surrogate father, stares uncomprehendingly at the side of his head, not understanding why his cousin is ignoring him.  While the doctor chats cheerfully with Sawyer's mother, Kyle sits in stony silence.  Finally, he turns his head slightly, still not looking directly at his family.  Kyle, bitterly: "Please leave."  Sawyer's mother, gently: "We just want to make sure you're okay, Kyle."  Kyle: "Well, I'm not.  Okay?"  When Kyle again asks them to leave, Sawyer's hurt turns to anger: "Fine.  Did you ever think that this might be hard for other people?  People besides you?  Did you?"  Sawyer walks quickly out of the room.

Kyle is seated in front of a computer in his wheelchair, reading about his state swimming record being broken by a former classmate and rival.  (Kyle's dreams of Olympic competition were shattered when a battlefield injury left his leg paralyzed.)  Dr. McCarthy, having watched Kyle alienate himself from his friends and family, confronts the young man: "Tell me, what hurts more?  Your leg or your pride?"  Kyle, brokenly: "My whole life, all I wanted to do was one thing."  Dr. McCarthy: "Well, now you're just gonna have to learn to do something else.  Fortunately, there are about a million things to choose from."  Kyle shakes his head in disbelief.  Dr. McCarthy: "Look, Kyle, just because you're hurt doesn't mean you're broken."  Kyle: "No, trust me.  I'm broken."  Dr. McCarthy drops a glass to the floor, shattering it: "No.  That's broken."  He smiles gently at the boy: "Go home.  Go home to your family."

A newscaster announces the coming of a powerful hurricane.  The employees of the marine hospital hurry to prepare for the storm.  They rush around, moving animals and equipment to places of safety.  Outside, in the harbor, a sailor does what he can to protect his boat.  After the buildings and animals are secure, the people head toward their homes and the places designated beforehand as safe harbors from the storm.  Dark clouds quickly gather overhead, fierce winds begin rattling windows and ripping down signs.  Sawyer and his mother are hiding in their house, sitting in the flickering light.  Mother, comforting her frightened son: "It's okay, honey.  It's just a big, old storm.  We'll be okay." Outside, the palm trees are torn by the wind, waves crash against the beach, and the sign on the marine hospital falls to the ground.

On his way home from the marine hospital, Sawyer encounters a mother who has travelled hours to bring her daughter to visit Winter.  (Winter is a dolphin who has miraculously survived the amputation of her tail.)  The mother tells Sawyer that her daughter has thought of nothing else since hearing about Winter, and she begs Sawyer to allow them to see her.  Sawyer agrees, understanding the mother's eagerness more when she takes her daughter out of the vehicle.  The little girl smiles shyly from her wheelchair, only one leg sticking out from the folds of her dress.  Sawyer takes them to see the dolphin and the girl watches excitedly.  When the dolphin approaches, she puts her hand up to the glass.  Winter turns in the water so her tail stub is visible.  Girl, seeing the stub: "Mommy, she's just like me."

Clay is seated at his desk, brooding over unpaid bills from his struggling marine animal hospital.  (With threats of closure looming over his head, Clay is fighting a losing battle to keep a dolphin named Winter alive.)  Clay's father, Reed, sits down in front of his discouraged son and reminds him of a favorite poem.  The poem depicts a sailor guiding his ship by the light of a single star.  Reed: "You're a good sailor, Clay.  But you're sorely lost now, son.  You've given up.  Because you're afraid you can't save her.  And you don't want to watch that happen again."  Clay, a widower who lost his wife to illness, looks away.  Reed: "Winter might die.  I don't know.  But I do know you can't give up on her.  You never did on Holly.  It was the bravest, most beautiful thing I ever saw.  Just 'cause we haven't got to where the star's pointing us, it doesn't make it the wrong star.  That dolphin's taking us all somewhere.  We just haven't figured out where yet."
