ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

News broadcasts from all over the world paint a bleak picture.  Aliens have invaded Europe and, in the years since, have conquered much of the continent.  Broadcaster: "It does now appear to be a major attack."  Broadcaster #2: "We've suffered millions of casualties..."  The film footage reveals a world torn apart by the enemy:  buildings decimated, towns on fire, citizens fleeing in panic.  General Brigham addresses the world: "All of humanity's at stake."  Now, years after the initial invasion, humanity finally appears to have a valuable weapon.  The most recent battle, a victory for mankind, was won with the efforts of one untrained woman in a high-tech suit of armor.  Called the "new jacket technology," the armor provides protection as well as weaponry, and is billed as converting even the most inexperienced recruits into super-soldiers.  Major Cage: "She was able to kill hundreds of Mimics on only her first day of combat."  Cage predicts a turnaround in the once-hopeless war:  "We will be victorious.  We fight.  That's what we do."

Master Sergeant Farell interrupts a secret poker game in J Squad.  Farell picks up the cards: "Private Kimmell, what is my view of gambling in the barracks?"  Kimmell: "You dislike it, Sergeant Farell."  Farell: "Nance, why do I dislike it?"  Nance, reciting by memory: "'Cause it entertains the notion that our fate is in hands other than our own."  Farell: "And what is my definitive position on the concept of fate, chorus?"  All soldiers together: "Through readiness and discipline, we are masters of our fate."  Farell makes his soldiers eat their cards to reinforce his lesson.

Cage and his squad are being flown to the front, where they will engage in battle with the aliens.  The fresh recruits are in their metal suits, suspended inside the plane and prepared to be dropped directly onto the battlefield.  The floor opens in the bottom of the plane, revealing a battle already raging below.  Just as Sergeant Farell gives the order to drop, a hole is blown in the side of the plane.  Flames engulf part of the cabin and the sergeant screams for his men to drop.  One-by-one, they comply, dropping out of the plane with only a thin cable to prevent freefall.  Cage is the last to obey the drop order, only ejecting when he sees the plane is going down.  Screaming, he falls through the air, spinning on his cable.  Several of his comrades collide with each other in the chaotic fall.  Bombs and gunfire stream around them, and those who make it safely to the ground consider themselves lucky.  Their feelings of elation are short-lived, however, as they die almost as quickly on the ground.  Cage staggers drunkenly over the body-strewn beach, trying in vain to work his weaponry.  He can only watch in horror as bodies fall all around him and huge aircraft crash to the ground.

Cage trudges numbly across the battlefield, trying to escape the worst of the carnage.  Farell stops him, dragging him back to the heavy fighting.  Cage and the remaining members of his squad seek cover in a trench.  One soldier speaks for the group: "It's a slaughterhouse!"  Farell rallies them into action, however, and sends the men back into the fight.  Cage, untrained and unprepared, doesn't even know how to use his weapon.  Desperately, he calls for anyone to help him turn the safety off so he can fire.  He is ignored.  Weaponless, he can only scream for help when an alien rises up from the ground in front of him.  Cage helplessly pushes random buttons on his weapon, accidentally changing the user language to Japanese.  The alien begins attacking the squad inside the trench, and Cage can only watch in horror.  While his comrades are killed off, one-by-one, he frantically works at his weapon.  Finally, when he is the only one left standing, he succeeds in arming the weapon.  Aiming his gun at the alien, he fires in its general direction.  When he succeeds in killing it, his surprise is only exceeded by his relief.  His laughter is silenced, however, when an enormous alien suddenly emerges in front of him.  He points his weapon at the creature and tries to fire.  The screen flashes, alerting the need to reload the weapon.  Cage, who only armed the weapon by accident, knows he will never have the chance to figure out how to reload it.  (Caution: h-word used twice, b-word used)

Cage, knowing that the aliens are aware of the coming attack, tries in vain to warn Sergeant Farell.  As Cage is dragged to his barracks he screams: "You have to listen to me!  They know we're coming!  I have been there!  I've seen it!  You're all doomed!"  Hoping to persuade the men to trust in his foreknowledge, Cage tells Farell and the other members of J Squad personal facts he would have no natural way of knowing.  The soldiers look at him with mistrust and skepticism.  Cage, solemnly: "You have to listen to me.  Your very lives depend on it."  Later, the soldiers are waiting in the plane, preparing to drop onto the battlefield.  Cage is strapped into his station, duct tape covering his mouth.  Desperately, he struggles to be heard, mumbling the words: "The ship is gonna explode!"  With the tape over his mouth, his words are intelligible, and the others only stare at him in confusion.  Griff: "What is he saying?"  Finally, with the aid of his tongue, Cage is able to loosen the tape enough to speak clearly.  He shouts: "The ship is about to explode!"  His words are cut off by the prophesied explosion, and it is too late to benefit from his warning.  (Caution: b-word used, a-word used, "balls" used crudely)

Cage, who is living the same day again and again, has learned that he needs to make contact with Rita in order to change the outcome of the war.  Trapped with his squad in drills, he makes a plan to escape from the guardianship of his superior officer.  Deliberately taunting the sergeant, he receives the desired consequence of fifty pushups.  The all-squadron punishment gives Cage just the time he needs to allow several military vehicles to overtake their squad.  Cage watches the progress of the trucks over his shoulder, waiting for just the right time to enact his plan.  Just as the trucks come abreast of the soldiers, Cage ducks and rolls under the nearest vehicle.  He passes safely under the first two tires, but a loud scream and a thumping sound reveal that he didn't make it past the second set of tires.  A collective gasp of horror rises from the squad.  The sergeant, looking both startled and disgusted, stares at the ground where, presumably, Cage's body lays:  "What the h--l were you thinkin'?"  Cage, immediately transported back to the beginning of the day before his death, is once again doing pushups with the squad.  This time, his timing is better with experience.  He rolls safely under the truck and is able to escape.  (Caution: h-word used)

Rita has asked Dr. Carter to explain Mimic biology to Cage.  The scientist pulls up a detailed computer graphic and begins to describe the hive-like mentality of the deadly alien race.  According to Carter's description, the individual aliens are controlled by Alpha aliens, who are, in turn, controlled by one large being, dubbed the Omega.  Carter explains that the reason Cage is able to relive the same day after dying is because he killed a rare Alpha alien and absorbed its ability to repeat time.  Rita tells Cage that the Omega is virtually unstoppable with human effort: "This thing wants us to believe we can win.  It wants us to throw everything we have into the invasion.  Operation Downfall isn't our endgame.  It's the enemy's."  Cage listens quietly to the solemn news.  Rita, to Cage: "There'll be nothing to stop the Mimics from conquering the rest of the world.  Unless you change the outcome."  Cage, surprised: "Me?"  Rita explains that, with Cage's new ability, he has the power to defeat the Omega.  Cage: "Okay.  How do I control it?"  Rita, with an air of breaking bad news: "You have to die."  Carter: "Every day."  Rita: "Until the Omega's destroyed."

Rita is training to Cage to fight the deadly Mimics.  Wearing a full-body suit of armor, Cage trains in a simulation room, where mechanical arms representing the movements of the lightning-quick Mimics attack with deadly precision.  Rita barks orders at Cage from the sideline as, again and again, he is struck down by the arms.  Countless times, Cage is forced to repeat the battles and, every time he is killed, his day starts over and he is back to relive the brutal training.

Rita, angry that Cage appears to be stalling, stalks out to start up the helicopter.  Cage stops her, revealing the reason why he didn't want to fly: "Rita, if you start that engine, you die."  Cage tells the woman that, in every scenario he has ever tried, Rita always ends up dying.  The only solution he can think of is for her to hide out until the battle is over.  Rita ignores his pleas, climbing into the helicopter: "I'm a soldier.  I volunteered.  I'm not walking away!"  Cage: "You die here!  I can't save you."  Rita: "Why does it matter what happens to me?"  Cage: "I wish...I didn't know you...but I do."  With all the time they've spent together, Cage can no longer see Rita as an unnamed, faceless soldier.  She is a living person, and he cannot helping caring.  Rita, feeling it cowardly to hide herself away, starts the helicopter.  She is quickly struck down.  Cage leans over her, watching her die.  He takes her hand as she whispers her final words, making his personal knowledge of her even more real: "My middle name is Rose."

Rita and Cage must safely move through Whitehall without being recognized, in order to obtain the transponder.  Cage, who has lived this day before many times, knows what is going to happen in every moment, and he gives step-by-step orders to Rita.  Rita, following his orders unquestioningly, is guided safely through the building.  Cage tells her when to turn, when to look away, when to hide, and when to walk.  Together they are able to avoid recognition and make it to their destination.
