ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Neil is piloting a NASA rocket with the capability of leaving the Earth's atmosphere.  His mission is to penetrate the atmosphere, observe, and descend back to Earth.  He's completed the first part of the mission and is hovering over Earth, just outside the atmosphere.  NASA control gives him the order to descend and Neil begins to pilot the craft back toward Earth.  However, instead of penetrating back through the atmosphere, the rocket bounces off it and heads back toward space.  All of Neil's attempts to manually control the craft are futile.  The controls don't respond and Neil begins to panic.  His contact with NASA starts to be choppy as he drifts further into space.  He furiously moves the stick back and forth, flipping switches up and down.  Nothing happens except that the craft continues to drift further and further away from Earth.  Desperate, Neil manually activates the thrusters, hoping to propel the ship back into the atmosphere.  The rocket lurches sideways, groaning loudly.  Suddenly, it seems to break through a barrier and is sucked inside.  Neil now faces a different kind of challenge.  The rocket is plummeting toward the planet, shuddering and groaning.  Neil's eyes widen as he sees that he is heading straight toward a hill.  Gritting his teeth, he pulls on the stick, narrowly missing a collision.  Finally, with a jolting thud, Neil makes a successful emergency landing in the desert.

Little Karen is very ill.  The doctors have been unable to do anything to stop the growth of the tumor inside her.  She lies on her bed, sleeping, while her father, Neil, strokes her hair.  Neil feels the softness of the baby-fine toddler hair between his fingers, knowing he won't have much longer to know his daughter with his physical senses.  She sleeps with her thumb in her mouth and a little bracelet on her wrist reading, "Karen."  The scene abruptly changes to a graveside.  Karen's mother stares downward with tears in her eyes.  The only sound that can be heard is a jarring click-clacking of the coffin lift as it lowers the tiny coffin into the earth.  Karen's young brother stares at the coffin silently.  Neil watches, his eyes dry, while he fingers Karen's little bracelet.  Later, at the wake, Neil moves through the crowd of people into his office.  He shuts the door and closes the curtains.  Sitting down at his desk, he begins to weep.

Neil is sitting in the hallway at Ellington Air Force Base with a small group of candidates for the astronaut program.  The day has been a grueling one, meant to weed out anyone but the most qualified.  His name is called and he enters a small conference room where a group of experts question him on technical aspects of the mission.  Suddenly, Deke asks: "Why do you think space flight's important?"  Neil, speaking slowly and deliberately: "I had a few opportunities in the X-15 to observe the atmosphere.  It was so thin, such a small part of the Earth, you could barely see it at all.  And, when you're down here, in the crowd, and you look up, it looks pretty big and you don't think about it too much.  But when you get a different vantage point, it changes your perspective.  I don't know what space exploration will uncover, but I don't think it'll be exploration just for the sake of exploration.  I think it'll be more the fact that it allows us to see things that maybe we should've seen a long time ago...but just haven't been able to until now."

Neil and the other Gemini astronauts enter a training facility where a large machine will help prepare them for space flight.  The machine, designed to replicate the centrifugal roll of a craft in space, will test their bodies to the limits of their endurance.  Strapped into the machine, the astronauts will be challenged to stabilize the machine and bring it out of the vicious roll before they lose consciousness.  Neil is called to go first.  The other astronauts stare with wide eyes and open mouths and Neil, seated in a chair inside several layers of structure (the layers rotate in different directions at the same time), spins sickeningly.  He works the controls determinedly, trying to fight off the waves of nausea.  The veins bulge in his neck and forehead, as the blood in his body pumps to his head.  Finally, Neil slumps over, unconscious.  When he awakens, Deke is already calling the next victim to come take Neil's place.  But Neil isn't ready to give up: "I'm okay.  Let's go again."  The others look at him in surprise, but resume the training.  Later, Neil is in the restroom, vomiting.  Ed, just finished with his own session, walks in.  Neil waves him to the next stall over.  Ed, gagging, begins to run.

Neil and Dave are strapped into their seats inside the spacecraft, preparing to launch into space. Neil watches as the hatch is closed, locking them inside.  Time seems to move more slowly as the two men wait for the launch sequence.  Neil attaches a small mirror to the wall to enable him to see a bit of land.  The cabin is soon filled with the sounds of metal creaking and groaning.  Neil listens, looking around the tiny space, staring at the bolts that hold the ship together.  He and Dave look at each other, perhaps wondering yet again if they will die inside this ship.  The control room gives the 20-second warning.  They both close their eyes, folding their hands over their chests, as a voice counts down from ten.  A loud roaring sound fills the chamber as the rocket begins to lift off.  Neil opens his eyes.  The cabin shakes violently.  Neil's view of land from his mirror disappears.  The cabin continues to shake and shudder for the next several minutes.  Dave and Neil are mostly silent and still, with a few breaks to communicate with control or adjust some dials.  The atmosphere in the cabin is tense as the two astronauts know anything could go wrong at any moment.  The cabin is now shaking tremendously as the rocket accelerates still further.  The mirror falls off the wall.  Outside the window, Neil and Dave stare as flames begin to shoot out the side of the rocket.  Suddenly, they break through the atmosphere.  The rocket levels.  The shaking stops.  The noise is silenced.  The men look out the window, seeing the bright beautiful blue of Earth below.  They look at each other and smile.

Ed, Gus, and Roger are strapped into the rocket, performing a plugs-out test when a fire suddenly breaks out in the cockpit.  In the oxygen-rich environment, the flames spread quickly.  The men try to call for help, but control cannot hear them due to technical difficulties.  They try to open the hatch from the inside, but it won't budge.  Strapped into their seats, the astronauts are helpless.  Within a few seconds, the fire implodes and the men are killed.  In Washington D. C., Neil receives a phone call from Deke.  Deke, solemnly: "Neil, we had a problem with the plugs-out test."  Neil: "Oh, well, that's why we have tests, right?  We'll figure it out."  Deke: "There was a fire.  There's no easy way to say this.  Ed, Gus, and Roger...they're gone."

Neil is testing the lunar landing module.  While a team of men on the ground monitor the controls, Neil pilots the module, practicing what it would be like to land it on the moon.  The strong winds buffet the aircraft while Neil struggles to keep it level to the ground.  As Neil approaches for a landing, the controls fail.  He is tossed around like a leaf in the wind and the craft begins to plummet.  Neil sees the ground coming toward him fast and he realizes his only chance to be saved is to eject from the aircraft.  With only seconds remaining until impact, he pulls the switch.  His body is shot up and out of the aircraft and his parachute opens.  For a few seconds, we get a birds' eye view from Neil's perspective as he sees his own legs dangling in open air far above the ground.  Below, the landing module has crashed and exploded, sending up a cloud of flames and smoke.  While Neil descends to the ground safely, the descent was so rapid and the winds are so strong that his chute continues to pull him violently along the ground for a number of yards.  Once he has finally stopped, he takes a few moments just to breathe, letting his natural panic subside.  He stands up and looks back at the vehicle he was piloting only moments before.  It is a gigantic ball of flames.
