ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

The High Evolutionary, a man who claims to be a god, reveals his plan to perfect a flawed universe.

The High Evolutionary has labored decades to create the "perfect" society.  He has genetically-engineered each creature to be flawless - - intelligent, kind, skilled - - everything he would need to make a world a paradise.  Quill and Nebula drive down the streets of this "Counter-Earth," curious to see the results of the Evolutionary's experiments.  First, they see an elderly homeless woman trying to get some sleep on a public bench.  At the next corner, they spot what is evidently a drug dealer selling to some teens.  Graffiti and garbage is everywhere, and the metropolis looks like a typical Earth inner-city.  Finally, they see two creatures fighting beside some dumpsters.  One is beating the other with a baseball bat.  Nebula, astonished at the results of the Evolutionary's labors: "This is the perfect society?"


Just before the Evolutionary's ship is completely destroyed, Groot rescues Adam and brings him back to the rescue ship.  He gently lays the injured man on the floor.  Adam, who has always been an enemy of the Guardians, looks at Groot wonderingly: "Why?  Why are you doing this?  I tried to kill you."  Groot responds, in his own tongue, and Drax translates: "He says, 'Everyone deserves a second chance.'"


Otter, Rabbit, Walrus, and Raccoon are lying on their backs in their dreary cages in the scientific research facility.  Subjects of animal experiments, their short lives have been full of pain and misery.  But they have found joy in each other.  They stare up a the ceiling, dreaming together.  When Rabbit asks if the ceiling they are looking at is sky (they have only ever known the lab), Otter smiles.  She tells Rabbit they will see the sky in the new world "Sire" is making for them: "There will be sky.  And it will be beautiful and forever."  The other three animals are cheered, sharing her dream.  Otter tells the others that she thinks they will all need names in the new world: "So, I would like my name to be Lylla."  The others repeat the name, rolling it over their tongues with pleasure.  Raccoon: "That's a pretty name, Lylla."  Lylla turns to smile tenderly at her friend through the bars of their connected cages: "Thank you."  The others, in turn, give themselves names, which they all receive with greetings.  The Walrus becomes Teefs, the Rabbit becomes Floor, and the Raccoon becomes Rocket.  They smile and laugh and dream together like carefree children.  Lylla: "It really is good to have friends."


Rocket is dying.  He lies on a medical table, hooked up to a machine that is supposed to heal him, but isn't working.  While his friends try to save his life, Rocket walks towards a white light.  He sees his oldest and dearest friend, long dead, coming towards him from the light.  She approaches him and embraces him: "We were right.  The sky is beautiful.  And it's forever.  And I've been flying with our friends."  They look back towards the light, where Rocket sees several other friends from his past.  Rocket, hopefully: "Can I come?"  Lylla, pleased: "Yes!"  Back on the medical table, Rocket's heart monitor flatlines.  But Quill won't give up.  He continues to do CPR on his friend.  Back in Rocket's head, he starts to walk towards the light, but Lylla stops him: "But not yet.  You still have a purpose here."  Rocket, crying: "A purpose for what?  They made us for nothing.  Stupid experiments to be thrown away!"  Lylla, putting her hands on Rocket's shoulders: "There are the hands that made us, and then there are the hands that guide the hands."  She nuzzles him tenderly: "My beloved raccoon.  This story has been your all along, you just didn't know it."  Suddenly, Rocket begins falling away from the light.  He awakens back in his body and the heart monitor again comes to life.  Overjoyed, his friends embrace him.


Bradley Cooper

Five of the Guardians are on the outside of an organic space station, looking for a way inside.  Peter, looking surreptitiously at Gamora, decides it's time for a heart-to-heart.  He presses the blue button on his spacesuit to mute the transmission for everyone except Gamora.  Peter then tries to talk to Gamora about their past relationship, but she rejects him at every turn.  Peter: "We loved each other."  Gamora: "I don't think so."  Peter decides to bare his heart, coming near tears: "You were everything to me."  He asks her to open herself to the possibility of getting to know each other again, but Gamora's heart is hard: "I don't think so, Quinn."  Peter, correcting her: "Quill."  Peter starts to speak again, but is interrupted by Mantis: "Peter, you know this is an open line, right?"  Peter: "What?"  Mantis: "We're listening to everything you're saying."  Drax, bluntly: "And-it-is-painful."  Peter: "And you're just telling me now?!?"  Nebula, looking disgusted: "We were hoping it would stop on its own."  Peter: "But I switched it over to private!"  Mantis: "What color button did you push?"  Peter: "Blue!  Blue for the blue suit!"  Nebula: "Blue is the open line for everyone."  Mantis: "Orange is for blue."  Peter, confused: "What?"  Mantis, pointing to the row of colored buttons on her arm: "Black is for orange, yellow is for green, green is for red, and red is for yellow."  Drax: "No.  Yellow is for yellow.  Green is for red, red is for green."  Mantis: "I don't think so."  Drax: "Try it, then."  Mantis pushes the yellow button and yells into her speaker.  The speaker in Peter's helmet blares deafening feedback.  Mantis, looking at Drax: "You were right."


Mantis is trying to convince Peter to go back to Earth and visit his estranged grandfather: "He could still be alive."  Peter: "My grandpa?  He'd be, like, 90-something years old."  Mantis: "So...he could still be alive."  Peter: "People on Earth die when they're, like, fifty."  Mantis, horrified: "They die when they're fifty!"  Peter, who hasn't been to Earth since he was a child: "I don't know.  Something like that."  Mantis: "What's even the point of being born?!"  Peter: "Exactly."  Mantis, looking at Peter in shock: "Are you about to die?"  Drax, in the background, nods.  Peter, disgusted: "I'm not fifty!"  Mantis shrugs, apparently thinking he must be at death's door.


The Guardians are visiting Counter-Earth trying to find Rocket. After spouting orders to everyone, Peter jumps in the driver's seat of a classic old car, Groot jumps in the back, as they both wait for Nebula to ride shotgun. She, however, cannot figure out how to open the door... (Caution: f-word is bleeped out)

Nebula and Mantis have been trying to communicate with the children in the cell next to them, but have only succeeded in making them cry.  Drax: "You're scaring them!"  He walks up to the children and greets them.  A bereaved father, Drax bends down to speak with one of them: "I had a little girl like you.  You know what she used to like?  She liked when I made monkey noises."  Drax then begins to beep and jerk like a robotic monkey.  The children all start laughing and try to imitate him.  Once he has their trust, he speaks to them in their own language, telling them what they need to do to stay safe from the coming attack.  After the children move away to tell their friends, Nebula turns to Drax, frustrated: "Why didn't you tell us you knew their language this whole time?"  Drax: "Why didn't you ask?"


Chris Pratt

Kraglin's ship has been overrun by enemy invaders, one of whom is headed straight for him.  With his weapon out of reach, Kraglin is defenseless and the enemy knows it.  With a loud roar, he dives towards Kraglin.  Just before he can reach him, Cosmo runs out and jumps in front of his friend protectively.  The villain laughs dismissively: "A dog?"  Kraglin, who knows the canine has amazing powers of telekinesis: "Yeah.  She's a good dog."  Two enormous pieces of concrete lift in the air, seemingly of their own volition.  Too late, the enemy realizes he is trapped.  The concrete pieces crash into each other, crushing the villain inside.


Mantis, Nebula, and Drax are trapped in a pit with three enormous, ferocious-looking beasts.  The creatures are the size of small houses and their gaping mouths are filled with rows of sharp teeth.  As the snarling beasts close in on them, Drax and Nebula are certain they are about to die.  Mantis, however, approaches one of the creatures: "It's okay."  Nebula, frightened for her friend: "Mantis, stop!"  Mantis: "They eat batteries, not people.  Maybe they're just scared of what we are gonna do to them."  She slowly walks towards the animal, speaking softly and compassionately: "We're not gonna hurt you.  Everything is gonna be okay."  She gently puts her hands on the creature, leaning her forehead up against it in an embrace.  The creature's eyes open in surprise.  It quits snarling and begins to purr.  A tear rolls down Mantis's cheek as she feels empathy for the misunderstood creature.


Chukwudi Iwuji

Quill has only one chance to get off the exploding spaceship and onto the rescue vessel.  He leaps, holding a tube of compressed air.  When he lets out the air, the force pushes him forward through space.  The trajectory takes him in the direction of the rescue ship, where his friends wait for him on the loading dock.  But, before he can reach them, a piece of space junk strikes him, halting his forward momentum.  Quill's friends watch with grief as he begins to freeze, his face purpled and bloated.  Groot tries to reach him, but his branches only break off as they are frozen by the deep space.  Just as Quill's friends lose all hope, a hand reaches out towards him.  It is Adam, a former enemy (see clip #CV11549), who is unaffected by the harshness of space.  He grabs Quill and flies back to the rescue ship, landing just as the other ship explodes.  Peter, who was given up as lost, has been saved.  His friends embrace him, overjoyed.  (Caution: scene may disturb some viewers)
