ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Movie Ideas, Movie Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 4,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  part of the ScreenVue Vault.

All such service providers are contractually required to keep your data safe, use it only for the purposes agreed, and delete it when it is no longer required. They have agreed not share it, nor use it for their marketing purposes.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas, Movie Views, and Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View or Download.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Miguel is riding his motorcycle, hoping to find his pilot father, Russell, spraying a crop field.  (Their client is angry because his crops are dying and he's given them an ultimatum.)  Miguel does find Russell spraying a field...he's doing exuberant loops and turns and is having a great time.  Miguel tries unsuccessfully to flag Russell down to land, but Russell ignores him and finishes the job.  When Russell lands the plane, Miguel follows him.  Miguel angrily tells him that he sprayed the wrong field: "Lucas' farm is on the other side of town!"  Russell, his mouth gaping stupidly: "Are you sure?"  Miguel, tired of his father's incompetence, just drives away.  Russell, already drunk, takes a big drink from his flask of liquor.  (Caution: "h--l" used once as profanity)

All over New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington D. C., millions of people watch in stunned silence as three gigantic spaceships suddenly come out of the clouds to hover over the cities.  People start running in fear, knocking each other over in their hurry to hide.  In the middle of an intersection, a police officer suddenly stops his car and gets out to stare at the ship, causing a large pileup accident.  The officer, so stunned by the spaceship, barely even notices when he himself is almost hit by a large truck.  At the White House, the President and his staff are watching the ship that is moving directly overhead.  The press secretary asks the President what they should do.  President: "Address the nation.  There's gonna be a lot of frightened people out there."  Press secretary: "Yeah.  I'm one of them."

Steven and Jasmine have been awakened by what they believe is a minor earthquake.  Steven goes into the kitchen and turns on the television set, but is only half listening.  He hears warning messages, but assumes that they have something to do with the earthquake.  Jasmine's young son, Dylan, enters the kitchen, pretending to shoot aliens.  Steven wrestles with him for a moment, teasing him about the "pretend" aliens.  Steven goes outside to pick up the newspaper, tripping over toys on his way across the yard.  Yawning, he opens the paper and starts to read.  Hearing an unusual number of voices around him, Steven slowly looks from side to side, seeing that neighbors in all directions appear to be in various states of leaving town.  Finally, as a helicopter flies overhead, Steven, for the first time, looks directly in front of his house.  A spaceship 15 miles wide is hovering in the sky directly across from the house.  As he's staring at it, Jasmine walks out of the house and offers him coffee.  When she doesn't get a response from Steven, her eyes automatically follow his line of sight.  She sees the spaceship and her mouth drops open.  Little Dylan pulls out his toy gun and continues shooting at the aliens.

Aliens have positioned their spacecraft over dozens of the world's largest cities.  People everywhere watch the skies anxiously, not knowing what to expect.  Suddenly, all over the world, the ships fire giant laser beams at the cities' largest skyscrapers.  Buildings explode in a matter of seconds, causing giant plumes of fire and debris to shoot out over the population.  Some people scream and run in terror, others face their doom with frozen immobility.  Cars and other large projectiles fall from the sky.  Famous landmarks are consumed by the raging fire.

David is angry because the President has decided to use nuclear weapons to fight the aliens attacking the planet.  David's ex-wife, Constance, believes the President is making the right decision.  David, bitterly: "Yeah.  Well, you still believe in him." Constance: "Yeah.  Well, he's a good man."  David laughs humorlessly: "He better be.  You left me for him.  Or, you know, for your career."  (Constance divorced David when she was offered a job in the White House.)  Constance: "You know, it wasn't just my career.  It was the biggest opportunity of my life.  I wanted my life to make a difference.  I wanted my life to mean something."  David: "And, um, I wasn't...ambitious enough for you?"  Constance: "David, you could have done anything that you wanted (David was a brilliant MIT graduate, but works for a television station).  Research...development..."  David, however, didn't have any grand ambitions for himself: "Oh, honey, I was happy where I was."  Constance: "Haven't you ever wanted to be part of something special?"  David, who still wears his wedding ring after three years of being divorced: "I was part of something special."

Julius finds his son, David, drunk and ranting about the Earth being destroyed.  (The President plans to use nuclear weapons to fight the aliens that threaten the entire planet.)  David has lost all hope in the present or the future and believes people are doomed to destruction.  Julius hopes to make his son see that all is not lost.  He grabs David's face, forcing him to look into his eyes: "Are you listening to me?  Everyone loses faith at some point in their life.  David...look at myself.  I haven't spoken to God since your mother died."  David looks at his father, surprised at the confession.  Julius (who is Jewish) admits it guiltily: "Yes.  But see, sometimes, we have to remember what we still have."  (Caution: "h--l" used once as profanity)

President Whitmore is inspecting the new troops scraped together to save the planet.  These men are inexperienced and scared...many of them having been out of the military for years.  After remarking that the men look nervous, the President stands in the bed of a truck to address the army.  The President acknowledges the enormity of the battle the men have before them, but encourages them that they will be joining their brothers all around the world.  President: "Mankind.  That word should have new meaning for all of us today.  We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore.  We will be united in our common interests."  The President tells the men that they will be fighting for the freedom of the world and that the world will survive.  As he finishes his speech, the crowd erupts in loud cheers.
