ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Jack is watching a play when he notices a young woman trying to fend off the advances of a group of rude men.  Stepping forward quickly to defend her honor, Jack is caught unawares when one of the men punches him in the face.  Briefly stunned, Jack still bravely attempts to lecture the brutes on the proper way to treat a lady.  He is somewhat surprised however, when the men humbly obey, lifting their hands defensively: "We're sorry, sir, we don't want any trouble."  Jack, confused, but willing to take the advantage: "Good.  'Cause that's what you were gonna get.  Trouble.  Yeah.  All three of you.  A whole lot of - - "  Jack stops when every person in the tent drops to their knees, bowing low to the ground.  No longer able to pretend that he was the cause of the bullies' acquiescence, Jack turns around.  Swallowing hard, he sees the captain of the king's Guardians standing behind him.  Jack drops to one knee, realizing the woman he rescued was the princess.  Every head in the tent remains bowed until the king's men ride away.

Jack is in the courtyard of the palace, attempting to sell his horse to a disinterested crowd.  He is surprised when a monk offers him a very generous sum for the animal.  But when he learns that the monk carries no money with him, Jack turns away.  Desperate, Brother Abel offers him the most valuable thing he possesses as collateral.  Jack takes the tiny bag, dumping its contents into his hand.  A few ordinary-looking beans sit in his palm.  Jack: "Beans?"  Brother Abel: "Not just beans.  They are holy relics from a very special time long, long ago."  Jack, smiling slightly: "They look like beans to me."  Brother Abel, passionately: "They are priceless to the monks of Cloister."  The monk instructs Jack to take the beans to the Abbey and exchange them for the promised funds.  Jack: "Brother Abel, these are just beans."  Brother Abel: "Son, those beans have the power to change the world as we know it."

Jack and Isabelle, two eighteen-year-olds, are each receiving lectures from their parents.  Jack's guardian, his uncle, is angry that Jack failed to do a simple task assigned to him.  Uncle, frustrated: "Jack, you have got to grow up!"  At the same time, in the palace, Isabelle is receiving a lecture for running away yet again.  Isabelle explains that she runs away because her father is forcing her into marriage and because he doesn't see her as an independent young woman.  Back in Jack's cottage, his uncle tells him that he's useless.  Uncle: "You've got to take responsibility."  In the palace, Isabelle's father has just told her the same thing.  Isabelle: "Then, let me.  Let me show you how responsible I can be."  Isabelle asks for more freedom to move around her kingdom to prepare herself for her future role as queen.  And she asks for the freedom to marry her own choice.  Isabelle begs: "Please, Father.  Let me show you that I am capable."  The king refuses, condemning Isabelle to virtual imprisonment in the palace and marriage to a man twice her age.  Angry, she marches out of the room, ignoring her father's calls.

Jack, Elmont, and Crawe, on a mission to save the princess, are climbing a giant beanstalk.  The beanstalk stretches for miles into the sky, finally disappearing into the clouds.  The men have reached a point where they must cross from one part of the stalk to another, but a great chasm lies between.  Elmont uses his crossbow to connect the two stalks with a rope.  He then slides effortlessly down the rope to land on the other stalk.  Crawe, to Jack: "Your turn."  Jack, his eyes wide with fear, looks down into the chasm.  The ground is so far below them that clouds and distance make it nearly invisible.  Crawe, knowing Jack is afraid of heights: "You want to know a little trick?"  Jack: "No."  Crawe: "When I'm afraid, I imagine a big piece of cake floating right in front of me."  Jack: "Brilliant.  Thanks."  Crawe: "Like a reward waiting for you, just within arm's reach."  Jack, looping his belt over the rope: "Right."  Crawe: "Can you see it?"  Jack, again looking down toward the ground: "Not really."  Crawe, giving Jack a hard kick in the pants: "Then go get it!"  Jack, yelling, slides across the rope.

Elmont, Jack, Roderick, and the Guardians are climbing up the giant beanstalk during a terrible storm.  When lightning strikes one of the Guardians, he falls off the beanstalk, pulling several men who are roped to him down as well.  Wicke, the next man on the rope, has managed to stay on the stalk, and he strains and groans with the effort of trying to pull the men back to safety.  Roderick coldly advises cutting them loose and allowing them to fall, refusing to risk his own life to help save the men.  Wicke quickly complies, beginning to saw at the rope.  The five men dangling from the stalk beg and plead with Wicke to stop, but, with an apologetic grin, he continues cutting and succeeds in sending the men to their deaths.  To cover his deed, Roderick tells Elmont, the leader of the group, that the rope snapped accidentally.  (Caution: h-word used as profanity)

Spotting a herd of sheep, Elmont, Crawe, and Jack, hungry from their climb up the beanstalk, set out to capture one of the creatures.  They fail to see the rope hidden just beneath the surface of the stream, and Crawe and Jack step right into a trap.  The two men find themselves caught in a net, suspended over the stream.  Elmont begins to try to cut them loose, but he pauses as he notices signs of coming danger.  Quickly, the two men free themselves from the net, just in time to avoid being spotted by the huge giant who has come to check his trap.

Jack is helping Isabelle take care of a wound on her arm.  He uses yarrow, a common weed, to stop the bleeding.  Isabelle praises Jack's knowledge of the land, regretting that although she owns all the land, she knows nothing of it.  She looks over to where Elmont is mourning the death of his friend, Crawe.  Isabelle believes herself to be responsible for Crawe's death: "If I hadn't run away, none of this would have happened.  A princess is such a useless thing."  Jack can see that Isabelle really believes her life to be pointless.  He reminds the princess that her actions resulted in the unmasking of a terrible villain bent on taking over the kingdom: "Your running away just might have given Cloister a fighting chance.  So no one's useless, least of all the princess."  Jack tells Isabelle that she fills an important role as the future queen: "...you'll have the power to make the world a better place.  Isabelle...imagine all the good things you could do."

The king and his escort are riding at a breakneck pace toward the safety of the castle, followed by a nasty horde of giants.  As the castle lookout spots the king, soldiers inside the fortress prepare their defense against the giants.  Elmont, the leader of the Guardians, orders cauldrons of boiling oil to be poured into the moat.  Soldiers then fire flaming arrows into the sludge, in order to set it on fire and provide an extra defense against the advancing enemy.  Armored men scurry everywhere, each with a purpose to fulfill.  Elmont and his group of archers station themselves just inside the gate, ready to protect the king.  As soon as the king and his escort are safely inside the castle, Elmont orders the drawbridge raised.  Immediately, men respond to the order, and the drawbridge begins to cut the castle off from the outside.  The last member of the king's men is just barely able to leap into the safety of the castle before the drawbridge closes, shutting out the giants.
