ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Movie Ideas, Movie Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 4,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  part of the ScreenVue Vault.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas, Movie Views, and Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View or Download.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Pastor Dale is speaking at Bernard's funeral.  He praises Bernie, the former choir director, for the way he lived his life.  Pastor Dale, addressing the gathered mourners: "God judges a man on two things, and two things alone:  on his faith, and on the contents of his heart.  And, Bernie, we will miss that heart each and every day."

Vi arrives at church choir practice to greet the applause of most of her choir members.  (She has just been awarded the position of choir director.)  After giving them a pep talk, encouraging their victory at the upcoming choir competition, she turns around and sees her rival, G.G., giving her the evil eye.  (G.G. coveted the choir director position.)  Vi walks over to G.G., hoping to smooth things over.  G.G., bitterly:  "Well...don't you look as happy as a puppy wagging two tails?"  Vi: "I did not ask to be made choir director."  G.G. is sure Vi must have schemed to be awarded the job: "Please.  I have known you for a minute."  Vi: "The council chose me over you."  G.G.: "When foxes pack the jury box, the chicken's always guilty."  Vi counters G.G.'s sarcasm with some of her own: "And when folks get too wrapped up in themselves, they make very small packages."  G.G. storms out of the room.

G.G. arrives home to find a broken flower pot beneath an open window.  Hearing sounds coming from the kitchen, the widow creeps to her gun cabinet and grabs a rifle.  Arriving in the kitchen to find someone bending over her fridge, she loudly cocks the rifle, aiming it at the refrigerator.  Her grandson, Randy, stands up quickly, a chicken leg in his mouth.  Randy, putting his hands up reflexively: "Aaah!  Grandma!  It's me!"  G.G., shocked to discover who she nearly shot: "Randy?"  Randy smiles, continuing to devour the chicken leg: "Surprise."

Vi Rose is directing the church choir practice.  Her daughter, Olivia, begins singing her solo piece.  Getting into her performance, Olivia starts to ham it up a bit.  After a warning from her mother to tone things down, Olivia still finds herself getting carried away with exaggerated trills.  Vi stops the music to address her daughter: "Now, don't you bring all that Mariah/Christina mess up in here.  I don't care about hearing you.  I want to hear God through you."

Vi Rose and her children are driving home from choir practice.  Vi Rose begins to gossip about her rival, G.G., and her grandson, Randy: "Did you hear what that boy said?  Boy, the apple don't fall far from the family tree."  Vi Rose tells her daughter dark details of Randy's past designed to lessen her opinion of him.  Vi Rose, switching back to bashing G.G.: "And what did G.G. do to that robe?  Getting it all fitted and taken in like that.  Like she's better than everyone else just because she's rich."  In another part of town, G.G. and Randy are also driving home, having a similar conversation.  G.G.:  "That woman (Vi Rose), I swear.  Did you see the way she looked at you?  Like Jesus left a will putting her in charge."  The two women continue to vent their spleens on their unwilling audiences all the way home.

Walter, a teen with Asperger's syndrome, asks his mother why she likes gospel music so much.  Vi Rose: "Why you ask?"  Walter: "Because I just don't understand what's so great about God."  Vi Rose: "You don't mean that."  Walter: "Seems like He don't do much around here, that I can see."  Vi Rose, gently: "Baby, you have to think of God as a parent.  You know when I punish you or make you eat your greens?  You may not like it, but you know I love you, no matter what, right?"  Walter: "Right."  Vi Rose: "Even if you don't understand why I do what I do.  Well, just like I'm your mother, God is our Father, and we have to have faith, because we know He loves us, no matter what."  Walter thinks for a moment, struggling with his emotion: "But...you spend all your time singing and praising God...and He's who did this to me.  He made me this way."  Walter begins crying: "If you loved me, you'd hate Him.  I do."  Vi Rose: "No, Walter."  Walter: "I do!"  Vi Rose: "Don't say that, Walter."  Walter: "I just wish I could be normal."  Vi Rose embraces her son, telling him that she loves him just the way he is: "Shoot.  God don't make no mistakes, Walter, and He ain't about to start with you."

Vi Rose is seated alone in a dark sanctuary, playing the piano.  Looking broken and repentant, she begins to sing: ♪ "Fix me, Jesus.  Fix me." ♪  Pleading with Jesus to make her clean, she repeats the words over and over again.  At the end of the song, she whispers: "Fix me, Lord."

G.G. has come to Vi's work to offer her her old job back (she was the choir director at their church).  Still nursing her bitterness, Vi treats G.G.'s offer with nothing but scorn.  G.G.: "You just don't like me, do you?"  Vi: "Amen, sister."   When G.G. asks the reason for Vi's dislike, Vi more than willingly gives her a laundry list of G.G.'s annoying qualities.  G.G. initially defends herself, but when Vi stoops to making fun of her multiple facelifts, G.G. moves to the offensive.  She grabs a glass of ice water off Vi's tray and throws it in her face, right in front of all of her customers.  The argument quickly deteriorates into a public food fight, with dinner rolls and pasta flying over the heads of the restaurant patrons.  The women continue to exchange verbal blows, moving on to physical blows when their frustration is at its peak.   G.G., slashing at Vi with her fingernails: "You are so convinced your way is the only way there is!"  (Caution: a-word used twice)

Olivia is trying to convince her mom, Vi, to rejoin their church choir.  (Vi had a disagreement with the current choir director.)  Olivia tells her mom that her pride is letting people down.  Olivia: "Didn't you teach us to never quit?  Look at Walter (Vi's son with Asperger's).  He'll have to go through more than you and I will ever have to, but he doesn't quit.  Not ever.  Well, if you quit now, you're quittin' on God.  What's that supposed to teach him?"

G.G., a prominent member of the church choir, has just changed the worship music to a more modern style.  After hearing the choir's performance in church, Pastor Dale has called G.G. into his office.  G.G.: "Let me guess...you didn't like it."   The pastor is adamant: "The choir goes back to its old style, or I'll withdraw the competition application."  (The choir is enrolled in a national competition.)  Pastor Dale also tells G.G. that her grandson, Randy, must be taken out of the choir.  (Randy is a bit of a troublemaker, with lots of musical talent, but little love for God.)  G.G. attempts to defend her grandson, but the pastor has made up his mind.   Pastor: "He completely changed the way the choir sings.  Who knows what he'll do next."   G.G. thinks that Randy was right to push for a new musical style: "We gotta shake 'em up!"   Pastor Dale repeats his threat to withdraw the church from the competition.   G.G., countering with a threat of her own: "Well.  You withdraw your support, you leave me with no choice but to withdraw my support."   (G.G. is the wealthiest member of the congregation, and easily provides the lion's share of the church funds.)   Pastor Dale grows quiet: "Well, I suppose you'll have to follow your conscience, and I'll follow mine."   G.G. gets up to leave, but turns to fire a parting shot: "Oh...I shushed those loud boys during your sermon.  I told them people were sleeping."

Vi sits next to Caleb on the bus, noticing that he looks down.  Vi: "You all right?"  Caleb shakes his head: "Seems like God's using me for target practice these days.  Makes it kinda hard to feel the Spirit."  Vi smiles: "Caleb, He is God.  If He wanted to shoot you, He wouldn't miss.  Trust me, you'll feel the Spirit again.  And when you do, you'd better look out!"  Caleb smiles.

Vi Rose is directing her church choir in a national competition.  As they begin their performance, Vi looks out over the audience and sees bored, tired faces staring back at her.  Choir, singing: ♪ "Not enough, not enough, not enough love..." ♪ Vi stops the choir and turns to face the audience: "Stop, stop, stop.  It's not enough love.  It's not enough love!  The Lord is worthy to be praised, is He not?"  Receiving shouts of assent from the audience, she turns back to the choir: "Can we take 'em a little bit higher?"  Vi, to the audience: "Y'all don't mind if we lift Him up and take you a little bit higher?"  The audience yells their agreement.  The choir begins singing again...this time with a more upbeat, modern song:  ♪ "He'll take you higher, if you let Him..." ♪  Everyone is now standing and cheering.
