ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Pilot Bill is flying the plane while Captain Dale checks on a noise from the cargo bay.  The pilot is surprised when the infamous Joker enters the cockpit and informs him that his plane is being hijacked.  Enjoying his own vileness, the Joker grins ghoulishly at Bill, hoping to frighten him.  Bill only stares at him mildly.  Joker, his face falling: "You should be terrified."  Bill: "Why?"  Joker: "Because I will be taking over the city!"  Bill, shaking his head: "Meh."  Joker, astounded: "What?"  Bill, confidently: "Batman will stop you."  Joker, disgusted, blows a raspberry.  Bill, completely without fear: "He always stops you."

There is one minute left until a bomb destroys Gotham City and Batman has the Joker in his clutches.  Joker, pleased that Batman now has an impossible choice to make: "Save the city, or catch your greatest enemy."  Batman, momentarily diverted from the tense situation by the Joker's words: "You think you're my greatest enemy?"  Batman coldly informs the Joker that he fights lots of bad guys and doesn't care about any of them in particular.  Joker, hurt and offended: "Are you seriously saying that there is nothing, nothing special about our relationship?"  Batman: "Whoa.  Let me tell you something, J-Bird.  Batman doesn't do 'ships.  As in 'relationships.'"  Tears begin to form in the Joker's eyes as Batman continues: "There is no 'us.'  Batman and Joker are not a thing.  I don't need you.  I don't need anyone.  You mean nothing to me.  No one does."

Batman has just saved the city (again) and is surrounded by adoring citizens wishing to thank him.  Hoisted on the shoulders of his fans, Batman is paraded down a gauntlet of grateful Gothamites.  He greets his well-wishers with a thin layer of false humility: "Thank you!  I'm blushing super-hard under the mask."  Man: "You're the best, Batman!"  Batman: "Oh, I'm humble."  Woman: "Thanks, Batman!"  Batman: "I'm super modest about it, thank you."  Man: "Batman, I love you more than my kids!"  Batman, driving away in his flashy car: "So do I, guy!"  Speeding past all the "little people,"  Batman heads to the orphanage to further inflate his ego.  Dozens of cheering orphans surround the Batmobile while Batman shoots t-shirts and mugs at them with a merchandise gun.  His final words of advice ring in their eager ears: "Remember kids, if you wanna be like Batman, take care of your abs!"  He drives off in a cloud of flames and Batman merchandise, leaving an adoring orphan shouting: "You're my hero!"

Batman is looking at pictures of his dead parents, feeling their loss all over again.  When Alfred enters the room, Batman, embarrassed by emotion, pretends that he wasn't thinking of his family.  Alfred isn't fooled and tells Batman he is concerned for him: "Do you want to talk about how you're feeling right now?"  Batman, adopting an air of macho invulnerability: "I don't talk about feelings, Alfred!  I don't have any.  I've never seen one.  I'm a night-stalking, crime-fighting vigilante and a heavy-metal rapping machine.  I don't feel anything emotionally, except for rage...24/7, 365, at a million percent.  And if you think that there's something behind that, then you're crazy."  Alfred: "Master Bruce, you live on an island, figuratively and literally.  You can't spend the rest of your life alone, dressed in black, listening to angry music and staying up all night.  Don't you think it's time you finally faced your greatest fear?"  Batman, cowering: "Snake clowns?"  Alfred, shaking his head: "Your greatest fear is being a part of a family again."  Batman turns slowly to look back at the portrait of his parents.

Dick approaches Bruce, a fellow orphan, at the celebrity gala: "Do you have any advice on how to get adopted?"  Bruce, only listening with half an ear to the eager young boy: "Oh, yeah."  Dick whips out a pad and pencil to take notes: "For example, is teeth whitener a good idea?"  Bruce, signing an autograph: "Oh, yeah."  Dick: "How about eyeliner or a foreign language?"  Bruce: "Try both."  Just then, Bruce is even more distracted by the appearance on the scene of the attractive, new police commissioner.  He only pretends to listen when Dick asks: "Should I get experimental surgery to make my eyes larger and more vulnerable-looking?"  In fact, he isn't even aware of it when Dick asks if Bruce will adopt him: "Are you currently in the market to adopt a child?"  Bruce, staring at the commissioner: "Oh, yeah."  Dick: "Are you looking for a base-model orphan or one that has more upgraded features?  Like cooking or driftwood art?"  Dick, his eyes huge with excitement: "Mr. Wayne, do you think you'd be interested in adopting me as your future orphan son?"  Bruce, staring across the room: "Definitely."  Dick, ecstatic: "All I want is to get adopted so I can finally stop being - -alone."  Dick looks around.  Bruce is gone.

Every villain in Gotham City has just surrendered and the citizens are celebrating.  Batman watches, dazed, as reporters gush over newly-elected Commissioner Gordon, congratulating her on her achievement.  Reporter: "Question for Batman.  What are you gonna do with the rest of your life?"  Batman, confused: "What do you mean, the rest of my life?"  Reporter: "We don't need a vigilante crime fighter now that there's no more crime!"  Batman's face falls and "One is the Loneliest Number" begins to play in the background.  He wanders aimlessly through the city, oblivious to the celebrations going on around him: "No more crime!  No more crime!"  A gauge on the bat computer shows a graph depicting a direct correlation between the drop in crime and the drop in Batman's happiness.  His sense of fulfillment now at a record low, Batman finds he can't even eat.  At a loss to know what to do with himself, he spends his time spying on the prison yard, watching his old nemesis do yoga.

Batman tells Robin his plan to steal Superman's projector.  Robin enthusiastically agrees to his part and begins to share an idea to enhance the plan.  Batman interrupts, holding up an electronic counter: "See this counter?  These are all the good ideas Batman has (Batman: 5,678,483), and no one else has ever had any good ideas (Everyone else: 0).  So don't even try.  Your super-power is excellent listening and execution of my ideas.  Let's try it out."  Robin excitedly agrees.  Batman, barking out back-to-back orders while Robin follows them: "Drop to the ground.  Do a back flip.  Do a front flip.  Triple axel."  Batman doles out more and more complicated physical contortions and Robin compliantly executes them all.  Finishing, he runs happily back to Batman: "How'd I do, Dad?"  Batman: "Mediocre."

Alfred, Batman, Robin, and Barbara have just defeated all of the Joker's evil villains.  They begin cheering, proud and happy to have worked together to accomplish such a task: "We did it!  Let's hear it for us!"  Batman points at each member of his team individually: "You were awesome, and you were awesome, and you were awesome, and I was amazing!  I'm not trying to make it about myself, obviously.  I just wanna make sure that everyone gets a pat on the back."  He again points to each member: "You had a good idea, and you had a good idea, and you had a good idea, and I had a great idea."  Everyone beams, enjoying their comradery and shared victory.  Robin, jumping in the air: "Best team ever!"  They pose together for a group photo: "Bat family!"

Batman, having been zapped into the Phantom Zone, finds himself falling through a vast abyss of clouds and vapor.  (The Phantom Zone is a sort of purgatory for villains, where they are judged and imprisoned forever for their evil deeds.)  Landing on a misty pillar, he finds himself confronted by Phyllis, a sort of guardian-judge of the Phantom Zone.  Phyllis: "Welcome to the Phantom Zone, bad guy."  Batman, shaking his head: "What are you talking about?  I'm not a bad guy!"  Phyllis: "But you're all in black, you have a cape, and you wear a big, scary mask."  Batman, scowling: "Listen, I'm Batman!"  Phyllis, remarking on Batman's gravelly bass tones: "Oof!  You even sound like a bad guy!"  Phyllis proceeds to scan Batman for "badness," judging his earthly deeds to see whether or not he is a villain.  When the scan is completed, scenes from Batman's life begin to play on a large screen.  In the first few scenes, Batman watches himself interacting with his adopted son, Robin.  Batman sees for the first time what a terrible father he really was...always criticizing, never encouraging, and withholding any kind of affection: "Alfred, put that boy on the next jet back to the orphanage!"  He next sees how his unkindness affected others in his life, watching as mean words hurt the man who raised him and thoughtless deeds alienated friends.  Batman's jaw drops as his eyes are opened to the blackness of his own heart.  Phyllis, apparently evaluating what she's just seen: "Huh.  You're not a traditional bad guy.  But you're not exactly a good guy either."

Batman, knowing he was wrong, approaches Barbara to apologize: "Listen, I just wanted to say...that I'm really...really, really...really, really, really...really, really...s-s-s-s-s--"  Batman coughs, continuing: "Sooooooooo..."  Barbara, finishing for him: "Sorry?"  Batman, patting himself on the back for apologizing: "Yeah.  Woo!  I did it!"  Barbara sighs heavily.

After Alfred intervenes and advises Batman to take care of Dick, Alfred allows Dick to enter the Batcave - like a kid in a candy store!


Batman is encouraged by Alfred to take responsibility and put some effort into raising his new (accidentally) adopted son, Dick - who was also an orphan.
