ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Mad scientist Dr. Jumba Jookiba has created a new species.  He calls his creation "6-2-6," and its sole purpose is destruction.  The alien council looks in horror upon the small creature inside the glass case.  It growls and snarls and tries to escape from its prison.  Captain Gantu: "It is an affront to nature.  It must be destroyed!"  The Grand Councilwoman believes the creature should be given a chance to prove itself worthy of life: "Experiment 6-2-6...show us there is something inside you that is good."  6-2-6 clears his throat and everyone leans forward expectantly.  He states something in an alien language that causes several beings to faint and one robot to throw up.  Grand Councilwoman: "So naughty!"  6-2-6 laughs proudly.  Dr. Jumba Jookiba, shocked: "I didn't teach it that!"  The council determines to imprison the corrupt creature for life.

Lilo arrives late and dripping wet to her dance class, causing the other dancers to slip and ruin the practice.  The teacher, exasperated, asks: "Lilo, why are you all wet?"  Lilo: "It's sandwich day."  She takes a deep breath, preparing to give the full explanation: "Every Thursday, I take Pudge the fish a peanut butter sandwich and today we were out of peanut butter.  So I asked my sister what to give him and she said a tuna sandwich!  I can't give Pudge tuna!  It's fish!  If I gave Pudge tuna, I'd be an abomination.  I'm late because I had to go to the store and get Pudge peanut butter 'cause all we have is stinking tuna!"  Teacher, trying to calm Lilo down: "Lilo, Lilo, why is this so important?"  Lilo, matter-of-factly: "Pudge controls the weather."

Lilo longs to be friends with the girls in her dance class.  She watches them walk away together after class, talking and laughing.  She runs up behind them as they walk home with their dolls, hoping to join them in their play.  The girls, however, have no desire to be with Lilo.  They accuse her of having rabies (Lilo had bit one of them in class after she called her names).  Lilo ignores their accusations, asking hopefully: "Are you gonna play dolls?"  Three of the girls guiltily hide their dolls behind their backs.  The fourth angrily points out to Lilo she doesn't have a doll of her own to play with.  Lilo, excited, pulls a hideous rag doll out of her bag: "This is Scrump."  The girls back away in horror as Lilo continues: "I made her, but her head is too big, so I pretend a bug laid eggs in her ears and she's upset because she only has a few more days to..."  Lilo looks up from her doll to see the girls have all run away, leaving her behind.  Hurt, she throws Scrump on the ground and begins to walk away, but she quickly returns to pick up her one and only friend.  She hugs Scrump close as she walks home alone.

Mr. Bubbles, a social worker, has come to Lilo's house to make sure her older sister is a fit guardian for the little girl.  (Although they love each other, life since their parents' death has been a struggle, and Lilo has been having a hard time with her sister as authority figure.)  Lilo stares at the large man in dark glasses as he crouches down next to her: "Are you happy?"  Lilo opens her mouth to answer, but sees her sister motioning an obviously rehearsed speech behind Mr. Bubbles's back.  Lilo, methodically: "I'm adjusted.  I eat four food groups and look both ways before crossing the street and take long naps..."  Here Lilo misreads her sister's hand motions: "...and get disciplined?"  Mr. Bubbles is immediately alert: "Disciplined?"  Lilo, expounding on what she thought her sister wanted her to say: "Yeah.  She disciplines me real good."  Lilo's sister waves her hand for Lilo to stop, holding up all five fingers.  Lilo again misinterprets the signal: "Sometimes five times a day.  With bricks."  Lilo's sister nervously ushers her out of the room before she can alarm the social worker any further.

Lilo is running from her sister, Nani, knowing that Nani is angry with her.  Nani is angry because she is in danger of losing custody of Lilo, who has caused enough trouble to catch the social workers' attention.  Nani tries to get Lilo to understand her behavior could break apart their family, but Lilo is too hurt herself to feel remorseful for her actions.  Nani, frustrated: "You're such a pain!"  Lilo: "So why don't you sell me and buy a rabbit instead?"  Nani, yelling: "At least a rabbit would behave better than you!"  Lilo: "Go ahead!  Then you'll be happy because it will be smarter than me too!"  Nani: "And quieter!"  Lilo: "You'll like it, 'cause it's stinky, like you!"  Lilo goes into her bedroom, slamming the door shut.  Nani, trying to get the last word in: "Go to your room!"  Nani, frustrated, grabs a pillow, covers her face, and screams loudly into it.  Upstairs, Lilo is doing the exact same thing.

Lilo and her sister Nani are bringing their new pet home from the animal shelter.  Stitch, the pet, begins acting bizarre immediately...tearing up pillows, hissing, and even pushing Lilo.  (The sisters think Stitch is a dog, but really he's an alien.)  After watching his behavior, Nani tells Lilo they'll have to take him back to the shelter.  Lilo immediately protests the loss of her pet and begins making excuses for him.  But after Stitch has a run-in with the blender, Nani begins to carry him toward the door.  Lilo thinks of Stitch as one of the family: "He was an orphan and we adopted him!  What about O'hana?"  Nani: "He hasn't been here that long."  Lilo: "Neither have I.  Dad said O'hana means family."  Nani hesitates, her hand on the door.  Lilo: "O'hana means family.  Family means..."  Nani finishes her sentence: "Nobody gets left behind.  Or forgotten."  Nani gives Stitch back to Lilo.

It is nighttime and Dr. Jumba Jookiba is watching his alien creation, Stitch, through binoculars.  Stitch (or 6-2-6) gulps a soda, tossing the empty can aside.  Dr. Jookiba: "Now this is interesting.  6-2-6 was designed to be a monster, but now he has nothing to destroy.  You see, I never gave him a greater purpose.  What must it be like to have nothing...not even memories to visit...in the middle of the night?"  Stitch looks aimlessly around the bedroom, clenching and unclenching his paws.  He moves to the bookcase and begins searching the titles.  Finally, he finds a book that interests him.  He wakes up Lilo to ask her about the book.  He points to a picture of a duck in the middle of the woods, all by himself.  The duck is crying out that he's lost.  Lilo: "That's the Ugly Duckling.  See?  He's sad because he's all alone and nobody wants him.  But on this page, his family hears him crying and they find him.  Then the Ugly Duckling is happy because he knows where he belongs."  Stitch thinks to himself, then grabs the book and takes it to bed with him.

Stitch lifts Lilo's pillow to look at the photograph she keeps under it.  The picture is of her family before her parents died.  Lilo: "That's us before...It was rainy and they went for a drive.  What happened to yours?"  Stitch, unaware that he was created in a lab, doesn't know where his family is.  Lilo: "I hear you cry at night.  Do you dream about them?  I know that's why you wreck things and push me.  Our family's little now and we don't have many toys, but if you want, you could be a part of it.  You could be our baby and we'd raise you to be good."  Lilo watches sadly as Stitch picks up his favorite book, "The Ugly Duckling," and walks toward the window.  Lilo: "O'hana (her last name) means family.  Family means nobody gets left behind.  But if you want to leave, you can."  Stitch looks back at her sadly before climbing out of the window.  Lilo, quietly: "I'll remember you, though.  I remember everyone that leaves."  She places her parents' picture back underneath her pillow.  Stitch climbs back up to look once more at Lilo before going into the woods.  He turns to the page of his book where the lost duckling stands alone in the forest, crying out for his family.  The duckling calls out that he's lost and, on the next page, his family finds him.  Stitch gently touches the page depicting the loving family.  Then he calls out, imitating the duckling: "Lost.  I'm lost!"  He looks up at the sky, searching for his family.
