ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Logan, a soldier, is sitting at the site of a recent battle when he spots something shining on the ground a few yards away.  He walks over to the object and picks it up, discovering that it's a photo of a woman.  He puts it in his pocket and turns around, preparing to return to where he had been sitting.  Suddenly, a rocket falls from out of nowhere and strikes the ground in front of Logan.  The blast knocks him to the ground.  When he regains consciousness, Victor, a fellow soldier, tells him what happened.  Although three other men were killed by the blast, Logan made it through safely because he had moved to investigate the photo.  Victor hands Logan the photo: "I saw you pick it up.  Looks like it saved you."  Logan turns the picture over and sees the inscription on the back: "Keep Safe."  A small cross is drawn below the words.  Victor: "Got yourself a guardian angel."

Logan has just returned from the war in Afghanistan and is staying with his sister and her family.  He is washing dishes in the kitchen when gunfire from his nephew's video game startles him.  He drops a plate to the floor, automatically assuming a defensive stance.  Seeing Logan's reaction, his sister tells the boys to turn off the video game.  The next morning, Logan's nephews sneak into his room with a video camera, intending to surprise their uncle.  While one films, the other jumps on top of the sleeping man, screaming: "Time to wake up!"  Logan bolts upright, grasping the boy and throwing him onto the bed.  Before he realizes his attacker is only his nephew, Logan is on top of him, his hands around the boy's throat.  The second boy runs screaming for their mother.  She enters the room just as Logan is coming to his senses.  Horrified, she watches Logan climb off her son: "You know, the Corps can get you some help."  Logan's face contorts with pain and he puts his head in his hands.

Ben has been asked to accompany the church choir on his violin.  Overwhelmed with stage fright, Ben escapes to his hideout in the woods.  Logan finds the boy there and, knowing his fears, encourages him to play despite them.  Ben: "What if I screw up?"  Logan: "That's the best part about performing in a church...forgiving audience.  Right?"  Ben isn't comforted.  Logan: "I can't get up there alone.  I need you to be the guy next to me."  Ben: "What do you mean?"  Logan: "It's how Marines work.  We watch each others' backs.  You don't worry about yourself.  You think about the guy next to you."

Logan is walking his dog along the street when Keith, drunk and angry, approaches and tries to start a fight.  When Keith finds that Logan only ignores his insults, he grabs him from behind and spins him around: "Don't you walk away from me when I talk to you!"  Logan looks Keith in the eye, saying nothing.  Wanting to bait the man into striking him first, Keith reaches into Logan's bag and pulls out an apple.  Keith takes a large bite and spits it in Logan's face.  Still, Logan does nothing.  Keith: "You ain't got nothin' to say for yourself?"  Logan turns, again trying to walk away.  Keith grabs him by the arm, pulling him back violently.  When Logan's dog begins to bark, Keith pulls out a gun, pointing it first at the dog and then at Logan.  Logan, calmly: "Easy."  Keith turns briefly to yell at his friend, and Logan, an ex-Marine, quickly disarms him.  He unloads the gun, handing the bullets and weapon to Keith's friend.  He looks intently at Keith: "You're not a bad guy, Keith."  Logan walks away, leaving Keith staring at the ground, already feeling the first pangs of remorse.

Beth has discovered that an incident resulting from her brother's death saved the life of her new boyfriend.  Angry and hurt, Beth furiously chops vegetables for dinner.  Ellie, Beth's grandmother, tells Beth she believes it was meant to happen.  Beth throws down the knife, shouting sarcastically: "Right.  Right.  Of course.  It was all part of a plan.  None of us are in control of anything that happens.  It's all down to fate."  Ellie: "Well, you can call it what you like, but I think it happened for a reason."

Ben is on the rope bridge leading to his tree house.  A fierce storm is raging and the creek running under the bridge is swollen and frothy with rapids.  Ben's father, Keith, is trying to talk him off the bridge, but Ben is frozen in fear.  Suddenly, the rope bridge snaps and Ben is hanging onto the bridge, dangling precariously over the swiftly-moving water.  Ben: "Help!  Help me, Dad!"  Keith: "Hang on, Ben!"  Keith tries his utmost to hold the bridge together, but the remaining rope breaks and the bridge falls into the water, taking Ben with it.  Ben is now in the water on the other side of the creek, hanging onto the broken bridge to stay afloat.  Keith begins swimming across the creek toward his son, telling him to hold on.  Keith reaches his son and holds him tightly, talking to him encouragingly.  Logan arrives and swims across to Keith, who hands Ben to him.  Keith, whose foot is caught in the bridge, tells Logan to take Ben to safety.  When Logan and Ben arrive on the other side of the creek, the tree house collapses, falling on top of Keith, who is swallowed by the rushing waters.
