ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Diaval watches from a high window in the castle while Stefan is crowned king of the realm.  The crow rushes back to tell his mistress of the event.  Maleficent, realizing that Stefan betrayed their friendship and stole her wings for the sole purpose of obtaining the throne, is filled with rage and hatred.  She lifts her head toward the sky, screaming from the depths of her wounded soul.  A beam of fiery green light rises from her body, feeding from her hate, and shoots into the blackness like a beacon.  From his castle, King Stefan sees it and is afraid.  Later, Maleficent begins the slow walk back to her home in the Moors.  Her beautiful face is like stone.  Her eyes gleam with hatred.  Behind her follows destruction.  She enters the beautiful Moors and brings a cloud of darkness with her.  The green, growing land is transformed into a barren desert of darkness and sorrow.  The creatures, once her friends, back away from her in fear.  A dead tree is magically transformed into a skeleton-like throne, where Maleficent sits with her black raven.  Lightning flashes and thunder roars and Maleficent looks with cold, angry eyes over her domain of darkness.

The nobles of the land have assembled at the castle for baby Aurora's christening.  Maleficent arrives, uninvited, and bends over the cradle of the infant.  Narrowing her eyes, she begins to voice a terrible curse: "Listen well, all of you.  The princess shall indeed grow in grace and beauty, beloved by all who meet her."  King Stefan begs Maleficent to stop, but she ignores him, raising her hands toward the sky: "But...before the sun sets on her 16th birthday, she will prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and fall into a sleep like death, a sleep from which she will never awaken!"  Maleficent stands, surrounded by the green flames of her waiting curse.  Enjoying her power, Maleficent urges the king to beg for mercy.  When he complies, she adds one more element to her curse: "The princess can be woken from her death sleep, but only by true love's kiss."  Maleficent raises her staff, invoking the curse: "This curse will last till the end of time!  No power on Earth can change it!"

Flittle, Knotgrass, and Thistlewit, three absentminded fairies, have been given the task of raising baby Aurora.  While the three fairies attempt to garden without the aid of magic, little Aurora cries tears of hunger.  Flittle approaches the cradle, frustrated: "Why is she crying?"  Thistlewit, who had been uselessly waving a flower in the baby's face: "I think she might be hungry."  Knotgrass, who is ineffectually stabbing at the ground with a wooden shovel, snarls irritably: "Then feed her!"  Flittle, scratching her head, begins to look around.  Pulling up a bunch of carrots and radishes from the garden, she lays them like an offering on Aurora's belly: "There you go."  The fairies smile.  Aurora continues to cry.  Hidden in the forest, Maleficent covers her ears to block out the infant's cries: "It's going to starve with those three looking after it."  Later, while the fairies sleep peacefully and Aurora cries incessantly, Maleficent sends Diaval with a milky flower to ease the child's hunger.

The three fairies have brought Aurora to the field for a picnic.  While the fairies bicker and quarrel with each other, they fail to notice that little Aurora has wandered toward the edge of the cliff.  Maleficent, watching from her vantage point, sees the girl fall.  Using her magic to cause some tree roots to reach out and catch the girl, the wicked fairy tries to ignore the wondering look of the crow, who is surprised she chose to save her bitter enemy.

Maleficent is hidden in the forest when little Aurora approaches her: "Hello."  Maleficent looks coldly at the blue-eyed toddler, making her own demeanor as forbidding as possible.  Aurora continues to smile guilelessly at the wicked fairy, not knowing that this is the creature who has cursed her.  Determined to reject the child, Maleficent stares down her nose at her: "Go away.  Go away."  Aurora, still smiling, suddenly hugs her, clutching her legs.  Maleficent still clings to her desire to repel the girl, but is visibly shaken: "I don't like children."  Aurora lifts her chubby arms in the air, begging to be held: "Up.  Up."  Maleficent, almost against her own will, lifts her and briefly holds her.  Aurora, curious, gently touches Maleficent's horns.  Maleficent's eyes widen in awe at the child's innocent affection.  They stare at each other, their faces inches apart.  Suddenly, Maleficent puts the child down, shooing her away.  She stares after the girl, looking at her with different eyes.

Maleficent, almost against her own will, has grown to care about Aurora.  Having brought the girl to the magical land of the Moors, she is watching her innocent enjoyment of the magical realm.  As the wicked fairy watches the lovely girl play and laugh, the last of the hatred in her heart melts.  Later, tucking the sleeping Aurora into bed, Maleficent attempts to undo the evil curse she put on her so long ago.  She repeats the words: "I revoke my curse!  Let it be no more!"  Her words grow louder and stronger as the evil of the curse fights back against her.  Golden light flows from her hands toward the dark green light rising from Aurora's cursed body.  The two lights clash, the house shakes, and the wind roars as the spiritual battle rages around them.  Finally, the golden light is completely destroyed by the green, and Maleficent knows that her attempt has failed.  She hears her own voice whispering in the air the words of the curse: "This curse will last till the end of time.  No power on Earth can change it."

Maleficent approaches the bed where Aurora lies under the curse of eternal sleep.  She looks down on the girl she has come to love as a daughter, and is filled with remorse: "I will not ask your forgiveness, because what I have done to you is unforgivable.  I was so lost in hatred and revenge.  Sweet Aurora, you stole what was left of my heart.  And now I have lost you forever."  Tears fill Maleficent's eyes as she vows to protect Aurora's sleep until the day she dies.  She bends, kissing the girl on the forehead.  She has just turned to walk away when she hears the words: "Hello, Godmother."  She turns, seeing Aurora's loving smile.  True love's kiss has broken the spell.  Diaval, watching: "No truer love."
