ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Commander Lewis and her team of astronauts have been caught on Mars during a terrible storm.  Having decided to scrap the mission and head home, Lewis must lead her team from their station to the waiting ship.  As soon as the airlock is opened, the force of the pressure sucks Lewis out the door and into the storm outside.  Unhurt, she begins to lead her team slowly through the debris-filled environment.  Visibility is almost zero as the high-pressure winds blow dust, dirt, and other objects in every direction.  The team must race against time to get to the ship before the winds knock it over.  Suddenly, a piece of equipment comes loose from its moorings and flies toward the astronauts.  Watney is struck full-force and goes sailing away into the unknown blackness of the storm-filled planet.  Back on the ship, the monitors show that Watney's suit has suffered decompression, giving him less than a minute to live.  The blow from the equipment has cut off all lines of communication and they have no way to locate the lost man.  Not willing to abandon one of her people on Mars, Commander Lewis makes a futile effort to locate him, but the storm prevents her from seeing anything.  With their only means of escape about to tip over, Lewis makes the difficult decision to leave Watney behind in order to save the rest of her crew.  As the ship begins to launch and everyone is strapped into their chairs, Beth can't help staring beside her at the empty seat once occupied by Watney.  (Caution: h-word used)

Mark returns from the space storm with a piece of debris impaled in his abdomen.  Alone and abandoned on the planet, he must take care of himself.  Gritting his teeth, he pulls the metal rod out of his stomach.  Screaming in pain, Mark soon realizes the trial is not over.  A piece of the rod remains inside the wound.  Breathing heavily, Mark quickly moves around the pod, gathering the equipment he will need to surgically remove the shrapnel.  Lying back on a chair, he positions a mirror towards his stomach, giving himself a view of the wound.  After injecting himself with a liberal amount of local anesthetic, Mark takes a deep breath and plunges several instruments into the wound.  Almost crying from the pain, Mark maneuvers the tools inside the wound until he is able to grasp the shrapnel and pull it out.  Quickly, he checks the shrapnel against the rod to make sure got everything out.  Finding he did, Mark grabs the stapler and staples his wound closed.  That finished, he allows himself to collapse back against the chair and just breathe.  (Caution: scene may be disturbing for some viewers)

Mark, trapped on Mars and seriously injured, has decided to record a video in case he doesn't make it.  Staring into the webcam, he details the challenges of his situation: "I have no way to contact NASA.  And even if I could, it's gonna be four years until a manned mission can reach me.  And I'm in a HAB designed to last 31 days.  If the oxygenator breaks, I'm gonna suffocate.  If the water reclaimer breaks, I'll die of thirst.  If the HAB breaches, I'm just gonna, kind of...implode.  And if, by some miracle, none of that happens, eventually I'm gonna run out of food."  Overwhelmed by the impossibility of his own survival, Mark is at a loss for more words: "So...yeah.  Yeah."

Mark is recording a video log of his efforts to grow crops on Mars.  The plants, necessary for his survival, will require water that Mark doesn't possess.  He does, however, have the knowledge to make water with the right tools and a fire.  The only problem is, everything sent on the mission is flame-retardant.  Searching through the personal belongings, Mark has found a small, wooden cross with a figure of Jesus nailed to the front.  After paring some wood shavings from the base of the cross, Mark lies in bed, holding the crucifix and staring at it.  Realizing that he has committed something of a sacrilege in burning the cross, Mark talks aloud to Jesus: "By the way, I'm figuring You're gonna be fine with this, given my present situation."  He pauses, staring at the figure of Jesus: "Countin' on ya."

Mark has just entered the HAB airlock when a warning buzzer sounds.  A hole in the lining has caused a malfunction.  Within seconds, the entire airlock tunnel is blasted into the air, landing dozens of yards away from the HAB.  Mark, still inside his spacesuit, is tossed around inside the tunnel like a marble.  Finally the tunnel lands and Mark is able to take stock of his situation.  Another warning signal begins to sound from his spacesuit: "Suit breach detected."  Looking around, Mark spots a hole and several large cracks in the middle of his helmet.  Suddenly frightened, Mark searches for his tape while a second warning sounds: "Oxygen level critical."  Mark looks at his air gauge, realizing he has little time left to breathe.  Frantically, Mark begins to try to fix the hole with tape.  As the warning bell accelerates to a rapid beep, Mark's panic accelerates and the tape rips.  Tearing off some more, he continues to patch his mask, racing against time.  Finally, he succeeds and the beeping slows: "Suit pressure stable."

The crew at Cape Canaveral knows that their mission is nearly impossible.  Their attempt to launch a space probe containing emergency rations for the astronaut trapped on Mars is a last-ditch effort to save someone already written off as lost.  As they wait for the launch sequence to begin, Mitch turns to Vincent: "Do you believe in God, Vincent?"  Vincent: "Yeah.  Yeah, my father was a Hindu, my mother's a Baptist, so, yeah...I believe in several."  Mitch, nodding his approval: "We'll take all the help we can get."

After receiving the news of the failure of the space rescue launch, Watney sits on a rock, overlooking the beautiful but desolate landscape of Mars.  Mentally, he is composing a letter to Commander Lewis, asking her to communicate with his parents in the probable event of his death.  Watney: "Please tell them - - tell them I love what I do.  And I'm really good at it.  And, I'm dying for something big and beautiful and greater than me.  Tell them I said I can live with that."

Commander Lewis and her team are in orbit around Mars, hoping to rescue Watney and bring him back to Earth.  Watney, also in orbit in his space pod, is headed toward them, and Lewis attaches herself to a tether, preparing to enter space and grab him.  They quickly learn, however, that the tether is not long enough.  Lewis: "I'm not gonna make it."  Desperate to reach the ship, Watney cuts a hole in the arm of his space suit, causing the released air pressure to act like a jet pack.  The force sends Watney spinning all around the inside of the pod, until he learns to stabilize himself by blocking the hole.  Positioning the hole behind him, Watney releases it, sending himself shooting out of the pod and toward Lewis at a great rate of speed.  With limited ability to control his trajectory, Watney does his best, but his path is erratic and too fast for his liking.  Lewis positions herself to catch Watney, but his speed is too great.  Their hands grasp for a moment before he goes sailing past.  Fortunately, Watney is able to grab a hold of Lewis's tether.  The force from his momentum sends the two of them spinning round and round in dizzying circles, but Lewis is able to slowly reel him in.  Finally, she gives the order for the others to pull them both into the ship.  The "impossible" rescue mission was a success.  (Caution: d-word used)

Watney addresses the room of hopeful candidates in the astronaut program.  Having survived more than a year alone on Mars, the famous astronaut is often asked the same question: "When I was up there, stranded by myself, did I think I was going to die?"  Watney, looking at his students, answers that question: "Yes, absolutely.  And that's what you need to know going in, because it's going to happen to you.  This is space.  It does not cooperate.  At some point, everything is going to go south on you.  And you're going to say, 'This is it.  This is how I end.'  Now, you can either accept that, or you can get to work.  That's all it is.  You just...begin.  You do the math.  You solve one problem, then you solve the next one.  And the next.  And you solve enough problems, you get to come home."
