ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Movie Ideas, Movie Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show thousands of movie titles and TV shows from a number of producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 4,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including all the titles that  part of the ScreenVue Vault.

All such service providers are contractually required to keep your data safe, use it only for the purposes agreed, and delete it when it is no longer required. They have agreed not share it, nor use it for their marketing purposes.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Movie Ideas, Movie Views, and Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of content: 
- *Movie Ideas*: Has the "light-bulb icon," where you would use your own movie (Digital, Stream, Blu-ray, or DVD you already have access to) with our cues and details; as this idea is not available as a View or Download.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including movie content? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming movie content - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream movie content inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly). 
- In light of COVID-19, the Church Video License has made temporary modifications to the license: For churches that stream their services and want to include movie content, they can use a platform that is gated or private (password protected entry to only members and guests and not open to the general public), such as Zoom (requiring a password to join).

__"Can content in the ScreenVue Vault be used with a Church Video Licence anywhere in the world?"__

Lieutenant Granger runs into Simone at a Paris café, where she pointedly asks whether he’s a good husband before slipping into open flirtation. When he shares some of the Monuments Men’s recent successes, she suggests they celebrate and invites him to dinner—his potted meat, her wine.

After the unit splits up, Lieutenant Granger meets Claire Simone -- a French art curator and member of the French Resistance -- who greets him with icy suspicion and refuses to help, convinced the Americans intend to keep the stolen art for themselves.

After Frank persuades President Roosevelt that winning the war will mean little if Europe’s artistic heritage is destroyed, he’s ordered to assemble a special Army unit made up of museum directors, curators, art historians, and even an architect—older men who must all endure boot camp in England before heading to the front.

As the war ends in May 1945, the team discovers another Austrian mine—this one seemingly destroyed. Racing to reach it before the Soviets, they push inside and uncover a trove of treasures. Working against the clock, they rescue sculptures, the Ghent Altarpiece, and the Madonna of Bruges, clearing the site just moments before Soviet forces arrive.

Stokes interrogates Nazi Colonel Wegner, who deflects every question with practiced lies, denying any responsibility and repeating his venomous hatred for Jews. Stokes listens without reacting. Then, calmly, he takes out a cigarette—his first—and lights it, saying he wants to remember this moment. He tells Wegner that when the war is over and he’s back in New York, he’ll sit down at his favorite Jewish deli with a coffee and a bagel. He’ll open the New York Times, skim to a small item buried on page eighteen reporting that Colonel Wegner has been hanged for his crimes, fold the paper, finish his breakfast, and never think of him again.


Once in France, George gathers his team around a map to assign routes and responsibilities, while Sergeant Campbell continues to be a constant thorn in Private Savitz’s side.

(President Roosevelt has just issued the order for a team to be formed to protect the world's most valuable art from Nazi destruction.  The team, lead by Frank Stokes, is called the Monuments Men, and is comprised of middle-aged civilians working in the arts.  Each of these men are unaware they are about to be called to duty.)  Richard stands on a scaffolding, overseeing his latest architectural creation.  He turns around to see Stokes standing behind him, wearing the uniform of an officer in the military.  Quickly assessing the situation, Richard smiles tremulously, salutes, and is soon, himself, wearing full military garb.  Elsewhere, Donald is sitting in a pub, chatting with a woman.  A telephone is placed on the bar in front of him.  Frowning in confusion, Donald answers the call.  The next thing he knows, he is being given a physical by a military physician.  The others are similarly called from their chosen professions to a mission arranged by their government.  Jean Claude leaves his painting, Walter leaves his sculpting, and Preston leaves his dance troupe...all to proudly accept the new mission to which they are called.

Claire stands in her apartment, watching Nazi soldiers guiding a caravan of trucks through the streets.  Suspicious, she races to the museum where she is curator, only to find most of the artwork has been stolen by the Germans.  She hurries to the train depot, where she is just in time to see the commanding officer, Stahl, about to board the train with his stolen loot.  Standing on a bridge overlooking the train yard, she yells out: "I see you Stahl!  I see you!"  Stahl turns around, glaring at her, but continues to walk toward the train.  Claire, calling after him: "Where will you hide?  I see you!"  Stahl boards the train as it begins to pull away.  Coldly, he takes out his pistol and begins to fire at Claire.  She stands boldly facing him, not even flinching as he sends five bullets flying at her body.  Much to Stahl's chagrin, every shot misses its target, and Claire is left alive to watch the precious art being taken from its rightful country.

Stokes is addressing his men before they begin their art-retrieving mission.  Stokes: "This mission is never designed to succeed.  If they were honest, they would tell us that.  They'd tell us that, with this many people dying, who cares about art?  They're wrong.  Because that's exactly what we're fighting for.  For our culture and for our way of life.  You can wipe out a generation of people, you can burn their homes to the ground, and somehow they'll still come back.  But if you destroy their achievements and their history, then it's like they never existed.  Just...ash...floating.  That's what Hitler wants.  And it's the one thing we simply can't allow."

Richard goes outside to find Preston being held up by a German soldier.  Preston is frozen in place, hands in the air, while the young Nazi points his rifle at him.  Richard approaches, his gun aimed at the German.  The three men stand in a circle, staring at one another, for a few moments.  The German's eyes dart back and forth between the two Americans, and he is clearly frightened.  Richard, speaking English, calmly suggests putting away their weapons and leaving each other in peace.  Seeing that the Nazi doesn't understand, he demonstrates by laying down his own weapon and reclining on the ground.  Preston sits down beside him.  Seeing the two men drop their guard, the Nazi soldier sits down as well.  Richard pulls a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket and tosses it to the grateful German.  The German takes one and tosses the pack to Preston.  Preston at first refuses, on the grounds that he doesn't smoke, but Richard insists.  Richard, knowing that the threads of their communion are already fragile, wants them to bond together in a shared experience.  Preston complies and the three men quietly smoke.  Finally, the German smiles, saying the one thing he can think of to show his community feeling: "John Wayne."  Richard, smiling in return: "John Wayne."  (Caution: gd-word used)

Claire is escorting James through a warehouse stuffed to the rafters with goods of all sorts.  Cabinets, chairs, tables and all kinds of furniture are piled together.  Dishes, artwork, pots and pans litter surfaces everywhere.  Crates full of miscellaneous objects are stacked almost to the ceiling of the cavernous building.  James: "What is all this?"  Claire: "People's lives."  James: "What people?"  Claire: "Jews."  Somberly, the two stop to stare at the seemingly endless hoard of possessions that the Nazis confiscated from the Jews.

Richard is in the shower tent when a recorded Christmas message from his family begins to play over the camp loudspeakers.  (Preston has commandeered a record player so his friend could hear from his family.)  Tears in his eyes, he hears his grandchildren greet him from thousands of miles away.  His daughter begins to sing: ♪ "Have yourself a merry little Christmas.  Let your heart be light.  From now on, our troubles will be out of sight." ♪  The song continues while, in the hospital tent, an unknown American soldier has just been brought in with serious injuries.  Examining the soldier's wounds, the doctor gives a frustrated, almost imperceptible, shake of his head.  He looks at Frank, who sighs angrily.  Sam, whose youth and innocence prevent him from seeing what is obvious to the older men: "Is he going to be okay?"  Doctor, with false brightness for the sake of the dying man: "He's going to be fine."  In the same breath, the doctor calls for morphine and a chaplain.  Frank goes to get the chaplain, leaving Sam to hold the hand of the soldier as he dies.  Meanwhile, the song continues over the loudspeakers: ♪ "Through the years, we all will be together, if the fates allow.  Hang a shining star upon the highest bough.  And have yourself a merry little Christmas now." ♪

Walter and Jean Claude are driving through a forest, looking for the place where they are to carry out their mission.  Somewhat lost, the men are on a lonely wooded lane when they spot a horse in a field.  Jean Claude orders Walter to stop the vehicle and gets out to pet the beautiful creature.  When it runs away, he stands in the field, smoking a cigarette.  Walter, also smoking, is waiting beside the jeep.  Turning around, he sees the eyes of a dozen Allied soldiers hidden in the forest next to him.  One soldier gestures toward the trees near where Jean Claude is standing.  (A group of German soldiers is hidden on the other side of the field.)  Alerted to danger, Walter calmly calls for his friend to return to the vehicle.  Jean Claude is about to turn back when he sees a face hidden in the trees.  Frightened now, he turns around and begins to walk slowly back to the jeep, trying to pretend as if nothing is wrong.  A branch cracks, Walter starts the engine, and Jean Claude begins to run.  He reaches the vehicle just as the first shot rings out, striking him in the back.  Walter pulls him into the jeep and the two drive away, leaving the two groups of soldiers to battle it out on the field. (Caution: profanity)

Frank and his men are exploring a burnt-out Nazi treasure trove when James calls him into another room.  He enters to find his friend standing on an active land mine.  Frank calls the other men into the room to help.  Hiding their fear behind jokes, the men try to figure out how to save James.  Richard, although believing the mine is likely a dud, constructs a pile of bricks to mimic James's weight on the sensor.  Richard: "If it's not (a dud), there will probably be a sizeable explosion."  When Richard's contraption is ready, he tells James to step off the mine.  James urges his friends to leave and save themselves, but all four decide to stay and support James.  Taking a deep breath, he steps off the mine.  The sparks and minimal smoke that emanate from the damaged device startle the soldiers, but injure no one.  (Caution: h-word used)

Frank is giving a presentation to the President, showing him all of the priceless art that his men were able to save during the war.  "There were over five million pieces recovered."  Truman: "And you lost men on this mission, lieutenant?"  Frank: "Yes, sir.  Two men."  He tells the President the names of the men that died on the mission to rescue art.  The President questions Frank regarding a specific piece of art...a sculpture of Mary and baby Jesus made by Michelangelo.  Truman: "You lost a man trying to save it?"  Frank: "Donald Jeffries."  Truman: "You think it was worth it for a piece of art?  Do you think Jeffries would say it was worth it, if he could speak?"  Frank: "I think he would."  Truman: "How about you, lieutenant?  You were in charge.  And this gets to the heart of the matter.  You think, thirty years from now, anyone's going to remember that these men died for a piece of art?"  Fast-forward thirty years, when the now elderly Frank is taking his grandson to visit the sculpture.  Future Frank, looking up at the statue: "Yeah."
