ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

A fresh snowfall has closed school for the day and Charlie Brown is ready to celebrate with his kite.  As the boy heads to the park to try (yet again) to fly it, the other children mock him: "A kite?  Today?  In the middle of winter?  Only Charlie Brown."  Charlie is certain that, with the "Kite-Eating Tree" asleep for the winter, today is the day marked for success.  He begins running, pulling the kite along behind him.  At first, it does seem as if he will succeed and the kite is soaring high in the sky.  However, when he slips on the snow and becomes tangled in the string, Charlie lands at Linus's feet and the kite hits him in the head.  Linus, encouraging his friend: "Still no luck, huh?  Remember, it's the courage to continue that counts!"  A stiff breeze pulls Charlie and the kite across the pond, wreaking havoc among the ice skaters.  Charlie's journey ends with his string wrapped around a tree and the kite caught in its snowy branches.  Charlie, grimacing: "Stupid Kite-Eating Tree!"  Suddenly, the snow falls from the branches, revealing more than a dozen kites tangled in its grasp.  Lucy approaches, angry that Charlie's kite fiasco ruined her performance: "You blockhead!  Don't you ever know when to give up?  You will never get that kite to fly."  As she stalks away, her brother, Linus, comforts his friend: "Listen, Charlie Brown.  Ignoring what my sister Lucy says has enabled me to make it this far in life."  Charlie, comforted: "What would I do without a good friend like you?"

All the kids in the neighborhood are excited to see a moving van pull into an empty home.  They gather at the fence to peer at the possessions being unloaded.  Each child hopes the new kid will share their interest, but Charlie's hopes are simpler: "I just hope this new kid has never heard of me."  Charlie, remembering all his faults and foibles: "He would know nothing of my past imperfections.  It's not often you get the opportunity to start over with a clean slate."  Charlie smiles broadly, full of hope in his new identity: "This time, things will be different!"  Suddenly, Charlie slips, crashing into the fence.  Like a train of dominoes, every board falls to the ground.  All the kids point immediately at Charlie: "He did it!"  Humiliated, Charlie runs away.

While Charlie prepares for bed, he pours out his heart to his dog, Snoopy.  Charlie: "Sometimes I wonder if the kids really like me.  Maybe that new kid will see me for who I really am, like you.  A dog doesn't try to give advice, or judge you.  They just love you for who you are.  It's nice to have someone that will just sit and listen to you."  Hearing a loud snore, Charlie turns, seeing that Snoopy has fallen asleep.  Sighing, he sags into his pillow: "Man's best friend."

Charlie Brown is sitting in the nurse's office, waiting to be seen.  A bemused smile is on his face and little, red hearts float above his head.  The little kid in the neighboring chair asks Charlie why he's been seen.  Charlie, passionately: "Have you ever had that feeling when you can't stop smiling?  Your heart pounds inside your chest?  You try to stand, but your knees become weak!  And, then, that Little Red-Haired Girl glances at you and all of life's possibilities become so clear!"  Suddenly, Charlie, who had been floating in a dream of love, drops to the ground: "And then you realize...she has no idea you're alive."  The nurse asks Charlie the reason for his visit.  Charlie, sighing: "Because I just came down with a serious case of inadequacy."

Charlie Brown, seeking advice, has come to Lucy's booth.  He sits down, explaining that he needs to know how to impress a girl: "But she's something, and I'm nothing.  If I were something and she was nothing, I could talk to her.  Or, if she was nothing and I was nothing, I could talk to her.  But she's something and I'm nothing, so I just can't talk to her."  Lucy holds up a mirror, showing Charlie a reflection of himself: "This is the face of failure.  A classic failure face.  Do you think girls like failures, Charlie Brown?  Girls want someone with proven success."  Lucy pulls out a notebook and pencil, intending to list Charlie's achievements.  Lucy: "Have you won any awards?  Like a Congressional Medal of Honor?  Or a Nobel Peace Prize?  What are your real estate holdings?  Do you have a diversified portfolio?"  Each time he responds in the negative, Charlie sinks lower and lower in his chair.  Lucy, slapping down her blank notebook: "Let me let you in on a little secret, Charlie Brown.  If you really want to impress girls, you need to show them you're a winner."  She hands Charlie a book entitled, "10 Ways to Become a Winner."

It is the day of the talent show and Charlie Brown is waiting in the wings to perform his magic act.  Onstage, his little sister, Sally, is failing miserably.  The audience is bored by her attempts to rope a cardboard box, and the stage manager is about to bring down the curtain on her act.  Charlie looks at his sister's tearful face and his eyes fill with compassion.  The audience begins to laugh at Sally and Franklin shakes his head: "Sorry, Charlie Brown.  This has gone on long enough.  Drop the curtain!"  Charlie, concerned for his sister's feelings: "Don't do that!  She said she has a big finish!"  Franklin: "Well, it's either your act or hers.  We can't hold forever."  Charlie looks at his sister's tearful face.  He looks out at the audience, where the Little Red-Haired girl sits.  (He had hoped to impress her with his magic act).  Charlie makes a decision.  Moving quickly, he dresses up as a bull and goes out on stage, telling Sally to rope him.  Sally, thrilled, mounts Snoopy and begins an exciting chase around the theater.  The audience adores her act, throwing roses onstage at the finale.  Sally, beaming, whispers to Charlie: "Thanks, Big Brother."  Charlie smiles.

When an announcement is made to the entire school that Charlie Brown achieved a perfect score on the standardized test, his success makes him an instant celebrity.  Suddenly, everyone at school is following him around, copying his every move, and asking him for advice.  The same people that once ignored him are now clamoring for his attention.  Even Charlie's "failures" are seen as successes, just because they are his.  (A failed art project is labelled "contemporary" by admiring classmates.)  Wherever Charlie goes, crowds gather.  Soon, nearly everyone is wearing the classic yellow shirt with zig-zag stripe.  Sally, Charlie's sister, begins giving guided tours of their home.  Excited crowds demand autographs.  And, Charlie begins employing Snoopy as bodyguard and bouncer to keep the mob from overwhelming him.

A special school assembly is being held in Charlie Brown's honor in order to reward him for earning a perfect score on the recent achievement test.  With his entire school applauding from the stands, Charlie is called up on stage to receive a medal.  Honored, Charlie smiles out at the adoring audience.  Many hold balloons in the shape of Charlie's face, others wear Charlie Brown shirts, and Charlie's sister, Sally, waves proudly.  A further honor is bestowed when Marcie announces that, from this day forward, this date will be known as "Charlie Brown Day."  Charlie, with a gold star pinned to his shirt, smiles at the cheering crowd.  Cameras flash and Franklin pats Charlie on the back: "You're the star of the school now!"  Marcie hands Charlie his award-winning test.  Charlie looks down at the paper and realizes, with horror, that it isn't his test after all.  (He had accidentally switched tests with Peppermint Patty.)  Charlie looks back at the crowd, seeing the faces of his friends, his sister, and Peppermint Patty.  He looks back down at the test, making a decision.  Clearing his throat, he steps up to the microphone: "You have all been so kind.  It's not often that I get this sort of recognition.  But...um...there's been a mistake."  Immediately, the audience is silent.  Charlie, holding up the paper: "This is not my test."  He unpins the medal from his shirt, his head hanging: "Therefore, I cannot accept this honor."  Sally leans close to her seatmate, whispering: "Can a brother and sister get a divorce?"  Charlie hands the test to Marcie: "I think this belongs to Peppermint Patty.  She's the real genius."  Head hanging and shoulders sagging, Charlie leaves the building.

When Charlie learns that the Little Red-Haired Girl is on her way to summer camp, he begins running toward the school.  Desperate to speak with her before she leaves, Charlie tries to take a short-cut through an amusement park.  Unfortunately, everywhere he goes, he encounters obstacles.  After being struck by balls, sprayed with water, and bounced in a bouncy-house, Charlie finally thinks he has been given a break when he spots a train headed toward the school.  However, after buying a ticket and seating himself inside, he discovers that the ride is for babies and moves at a snail's pace.  Grimacing in frustration, Charlie hops out and again begins running toward the school.  He hops through a tunnel, not realizing it spins, and lands inside a room full of mirrors.  Dizzy and disoriented, Charlie finally arrives within sight of the school bus.  The LRHG is about to climb onboard.  Just as Charlie is about to run through the gate leading to the school, an ice cream truck pulls up and a crowd of kids swarms around it, blocking the only path to his goal.  His task now seems impossible.  Hopeless and overwhelmed, Charlie sighs: "The whole world seems to be conspiring against me!"  Folding his hands, Charlie looks up toward heaven: "I'm just asking for a little help, for once in my life."  Suddenly, a kite falls out of the tree next to him.  Angry, Charlie kicks it.  The string wraps around his body and begins carrying him toward the school.  The kite lifts Charlie up and over the crowd of kids.  Charlie smiles.  It continues pulling him, with Charlie running to keep up.  For the first time in his life, Charlie is flying a kite and a crowd gathers to watch the astounding event.  The kite pulls Charlie all the way to the school parking lot.  Charlie trips over the curb and drops the kite string.  The kite floats toward the bus and drifts to the ground, poking the LRHG in the foot just as she is about to step onto the bus.  She stops climbing the steps and turns around, seeing Charlie.  She smiles: "Oh, hi, Charlie Brown."

Charlie, having raced to catch the Little Red-Haired Girl before she left for camp, approaches her with the question that has been weighing on his mind: "Why, out of all the kids in our class, would you want to be partners with me?"  LRHG, smiling: "That's easy.  Because I've seen the type of person you are."  Charlie, confused: "An insecure, wishy-washy failure?"  LRHG: "That's not who you are at all.  I liked the compassion you showed for your sister at the talent show.  The honesty you had at the assembly.  And at the dance, you were brave, and funny.  And what you did for me...doing the book report while I was away, was so sweet of you.  So when I look at you, I don't see a failure at all.  You have all the qualities that I admire."  A huge smile spreads across Charlie's face.
