ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Pete and his parents are driving through the forest, ready for a grand family vacation.  Pete is in the backseat, reading his favorite book about a puppy who goes on an adventure.  When Pete asks his mother what an adventure is, his father expresses surprise: "You don't know what an adventure is?  It's what we're on right now!  Out here in the wild, not another soul for hundreds of miles..."  Pete: "Is it scary?"  Dad: "Well, that's the other thing about adventures.  You gotta be brave.  Are you brave?"  Mom, smiling back at her young son: "Of course you are.  I think you are the bravest boy I've ever met."  Pete smiles.  Just then, a doe runs across the road and Dad slams on the brakes.  The car overturns, killing both parents, but leaving Pete unscathed.  We don't see the accident, however.  Instead, we see through Pete's eyes.  With his father's words still ringing in his ears, Pete believes he is living an adventure.  As the car rolls, things inside seem to float, and Pete looks around in wonder.  In the next instant, the car is upside down and Pete sits on the road next to it.  With a silent tear on his cheek, Pete bravely packs his backpack and prepares to face the world on his own.

Pete, lost and alone in the dark forest, is running from wolves.  Hearing their growls all around him, Pete runs until he comes to a clearing.  Looking through the trees, he sees a pack of wolves closing in on him.  Five wolves, baring their teeth and licking their chops, surround the helpless little boy.  Suddenly, a loud sound from nearby startles the wolves and causes them to run away in fright.  Pete, his eyes wide with fear, watches as a gigantic dragon slowly enters the clearing.  The dragon stops in front of the boy, bending down to look at him.  Pete, innocently: "Are you gonna eat me?"  The dragon looks compassionately at the boy.  Although quite large and impressive, with great wings and teeth, the dragon appears kind.  And, with his massive body covered with green fur, he seems approachable.  The dragon, seeking to comfort Pete, holds out a paw for him to touch.  Pete touches the fur and it changes to a brighter green.  The dragon smiles, almost purring.  Carefully, he turns his paw over, inviting Pete to climb into his arms.  Pete looks into the dragon's eyes, seeing only kindness.  He turns around to look back at the dark forest.  Pete decides to trust the dragon.  He climbs onto the paw, and the dragon carefully lifts him, cradling him to his breast and flying away.

Meacham is telling a group of kids about his encounter with a dragon.  Embellishing his story with dramatic flair, Meacham recalls how he met the dragon in the woods one day and saw it shoot its fiery flames.  The children listen, spellbound, but Meacham's daughter walks up, smiling: "Scaring the kids again, Dad?"  Meacham: "I was just giving them a leg up on what's out there in those woods."  Grace, a forest ranger, tells the children that she is out in the woods every day and has never seen any sign of a dragon.  Meacham: "Just because you don't see something, doesn't mean it's not there."  Grace: "And just because you say it's true, doesn't mean it is."  Grace leaves, heading to work.  A little girl looks at Meacham, eyes brimming with trust: "Mr. Meacham, I believe you."  Meacham: "Well, I'm glad you do.  See, my daughter, she knows a thing or two, but only if it's staring at her in the face.  If you go through life only seeing what's right in front of you, you're going to miss out on a whole lot."

Pete has escaped from the hospital and is running through town, terrified.  Thinking only of his forest home, he runs, trying to find his way out of civilization and back to the place he knows.  Everything is unfamiliar.  He runs down the street, barefoot and clad only in a hospital gown.  Confused by traffic, Pete looks around helplessly, finally realizing the sidewalk seems safer.  He dodges around people, who stop to stare at him.  A dog barks at him threateningly and its owners appear somewhat hostile.  A car almost runs him down, and a police officer tries to stop him.  Nowhere does Pete see kindness or safety.  He keeps running, climbing on the back of a moving school bus.  The school children stick their tongues out at him.  Pete keeps running, climbing onto the top of the bus to get a better view.  When the police car again appears, Pete leaps down from the bus onto a nearby truck, jumping from there to the ground.  He turns into an alley, not realizing it is boarded up by a high wall.  Trapped, Pete frantically tries to climb the wall, but to no avail.  Grace enters the alley and tries to comfort the frightened boy, bringing the first hint of kindness he's seen: "It's okay.  It's okay.  We're not gonna hurt you.  I promise."  With a roar, Pete tries to run past her, but she grabs him and holds him tightly.  Pete, knowing he is trapped, begins to howl like an injured wolf.  The townspeople look on, saddened by the sound of the lonely boy.

Gavin and his buddies are hunting in the darkened woods when they come upon a lair of some sort.  Gavin enters the cave by himself, not realizing he's being watched by an enormous dragon.  When Gavin exits the cave carrying the dragon's prized possession, it roars in fury, showing itself to the hunters.  Gavin screams: "Run!"  The men quickly race back toward their truck, the dragon in close pursuit.  Trees crash to the ground as the dragon pushes them effortlessly aside.  Making it to the truck, the frightened men pile inside.  Gavin leaps into the bed of the truck just in time.  The truck only makes it a couple of feet, however.  With the dragon gripping the back, the wheels of the truck spin helplessly.  Gavin tries to fire his weapon, but the dragon rips it out of his arms, crushing it with one bite.  Gavin stares in shock at the twisted barrel of his rifle.  He looks up at the snarling dragon, who is slowly walking toward him.  Terrified, Gavin backs slowly away.  Suddenly, the dragon takes a deep breath and sneezes, covering Gavin with sticky goop.  Gavin runs to the truck and hops inside, driving away.

Pete has brought his "family" to meet Elliot, his dragon.  Natalie approaches the gentle beast and reaches out a hand, stroking it.  The dragon purrs.  Grace and Meacham smile, amazed at the creature.  The two children continue to pet the dragon until, suddenly, a tranquilizer dart appears from nowhere and lodges in the side of the beast.  Gavin, holding a rifle, shouts excitedly: "I got him!"  The dragon turns and growls warningly at Gavin.  Another hunter shoots a second dart into him.  Grace and Meacham try to stop Gavin from harming Elliot, but Gavin has assumed the beast must be dangerous: "Get those children out of here!"  Meacham: "Gavin!  What are you doing?"  Grace: "He's not dangerous!"  Meacham: "Stop!"  Gavin ignores them and fires another dart into Elliot.  The cries and protests of the children are unheeded as the hunters try to bind the dragon with ropes.  Pete grabs a stick and starts hitting Gavin with it, trying to defend Elliot.  Meanwhile, Elliot attempts to fly away, but the tranquilizers start to take effect and he crashes to the ground.  Pete pushes away from Gavin and runs toward his friend, stroking his face until his eyes close.
