ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

"The Amazing Criswell" -- an American psychic known for wildly inaccurate predictions back in the '50s -- narrates the opening with goofy lines, such as: "Future events, such as these, will affect you in the future!"

Commercial airline pilots Danny and Jeff fly a very lame excuse for a plane and encounter a UFO on a string!  The most fabulous part of this scene, however, is when Commander Jeff overreacts to the "power" of the UFO a few seconds too long (this guy would have made a great Captain Kirk).  Also note the giant shadow of the boom mic...

After encountering a UFO earlier in the day (see previous Scene!), Commander Jeff whines to his wife later that evening about being forbidden to tell anyone (doesn't she count?).     But right when his babbling reaches a crescendo, the giant stringed toy UFO returns -- knocking them both to the ground -- with Jeff reacting a second too late...   (For more bad-timing, see previous Scene!)

Police Lieutenant Harper and two of his lackeys discover a dead body in a graveyard at night.  The most interesting thing about the Scene -- aside from the fantastically bad dialogue ("...one thing's sure... Inspector Clay's dead... murdered... and SOMEBODY'S responsible!") and attempt at acting by all -- is the way Harper waves his loaded gun around!

When three toy UFOs are spotted "flying" high over Hollywood Boulevard (verified by the three pointing men in a car!), the US Army can't seem to bring them down...     (Interesting notes: the man opening the newspaper is the famed director himself; all three major TV network towers are shown - symbolic or Ed buttering them up?; the scene goes from day to night to day again; the Colonel seems to be standing in an empty room).

After unsuccessfully trying to destroy the toy UFOs, Colonel Edwards waxes philosophically about their presence, AND reveals how the government has known about flying saucers for years -- and that they've been responsible for many of Earth's supposed natural disasters!

On the UFO mother ship, aliens Eros & Tanna report to their commanding officer.  But it's not a good one.  After repeated failures, they are forced to turn to PLAN 9!  The horror!   Later, Eros gives one of the "best" lines of the movie: "You know, it's an interesting thing when you consider... the Earth-people, who can think, are so frightened by those who cannot: the dead."

Before heading off to work, Commander Jeff fears for his wife's safety -- especially since their house is right next to a cemetery!      "Oh, forget about the flying saucers! They're up there.  But there's SOMETHING in that cemetery... and that's too close for comfort."    And make sure you keep those yard lights on when you're next to the dead who have been reanimated by aliens from flying saucers!

The hard-nosed Lieutenant Harper gives one of his three lackeys an unwanted assignment in a graveyard; causing hard feelings...   "Why do I always have to get hooked-up with these spook-details: monsters, graves, bodies!  Ooo, all right..."

Back on the mother ship, aliens Eros & Tanna bring aboard a zombie to present to their leader.  But Tanna's control gun goes haywire, causing the brute to almost strangle Eros!  The best part of this scene, however, is when the supposed zombie moves the curtain gently aside to enter; and when trying to exit, misses the split and does a graceful twirl to unfurl himself -- zombie, indeed!     (Also note how the leader rolls his eyes after Eros is almost strangled, as if to say, "This movie is really lame...")

In a graveyard late at night a zombie "sneaks" up on a policeman.  And even though the cop has enough time to easily escape the slow-moving lug, he chooses instead to scream like a coward and get knocked-out by a shoulder-slap.  The girl in the car also has plenty of time for escape -- or lock the door -- but chooses to accept her fate, instead!

After the authorities board the UFO and hold aliens Eros & Tanna at gunpoint, Eros is offended at being called a "fiend."   But a man can take just so much from a holier-than-thou ET, as Eros is backhanded by Commander Jeff for saying: "Your stupid minds! Stupid! Stupid!"  At least God is finally mentioned toward the end...

The authorities over take the space "ship" and make quite a raucous -- even causing items from an interplanetary garage sale to tip over!  But the humans fight off the "aliens" and escape just in time to watch the UFO "take off"...and melt with lighter-fluid.
