ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

A group of apes makes its way through the jungle.  The lead ape pauses, sensing danger.  The apes scan the trees warily, knowing trouble is near.  Suddenly, a group of hunters leap out of the trees and chase the apes straight into a trap.  One by one, they are snared by nets hidden on the forest floor.  The apes are carted away in boxes, their scared faces peeking out of tiny windows.

Dodge, a primate caretaker, is performing his duties with his usual bitter carelessness.  Slopping the apes' food into their cells, he stops to mock Caesar.  When Caesar inadvertently splatters him with food, Dodge sees red.  He screams at the caged monkey, who chuckles at Dodge's dirty face.  Dodge, angrily: "I'll show you something funny."  He grabs a fire hose and turns the water full blast on the helpless monkey.  Caesar is slammed into the back of the cage by the force of the water and tries futilely to shield himself from the powerful spray.  When Dodge finally turns off the water, he steps back with a brittle, satisfied smile.  Caesar is left in his soaking wet clothes to shiver through the night.

Caesar, the newest ape in the primate sanctuary, approaches the group play area with some trepidation.  As he emerges from the tunnel, the activity from the apes within stops.  All eyes are on him - - the only ape wearing clothes (Caesar was raised by humans).  He walks slowly through the play area, meeting eyes openly hostile and vaguely curious.  The leader of the pack, Alpha, begins strutting, making it clear to the new guy who is in charge.  Hoping for a friend, Caesar rolls him a ball.  Alpha hits it away angrily and walks up to Caesar, sniffing his clothes derisively.  Caesar holds out a hand in friendship.  Alpha rips the shirt off Caesar's back.  While everyone watches, Alpha screams in Caesar's face, asserting his dominance and telling everyone that Caesar is unwelcome.  He then physically attacks Caesar, beginning a fight that ends in both of them being tranquilized by sanctuary employees.

Caesar lures Alpha (the tyrant leader of the apes) into the group play area.  Blindsiding him, he hits him once with the same toy that Alpha beat him with on his first day in the sanctuary (see Scene # CV05078).  He then deliberately drops the toy on the ground, showing Alpha that he doesn't want to hurt him anymore.  Alpha looks back at the gorilla, who signals that Caesar is the new leader.  Alpha looks around, seeing all of the other apes watching.  Knowing he's beaten, Alpha approaches Caesar in an attitude of submission - - head bowed, hand outstretched.  Caesar accepts his allegiance, stroking his palm in ape-fashion.

Sighing with hopelessness, Will begins preparing to give his father yet another ineffective dose of an experimental medicine.  (Charles is dying of Alzheimer's.)  Charles, lying in his bed, puts a restraining hand on his son.  Tears in his eyes, he shakes his head, wanting Will to let him go.  Will sets aside the treatment and holds his father's hand.  Charles lays back against his pillow and closes his eyes.  When Will wakes up the next morning, his father's hand is still cradled in his, but his spirit is gone.

Caesar, the leader of the apes, sits on a rock, watching his comrades play.  Maurice, the orangutan, joins him.  Maurice, using sign language, asks Caesar why he gave Rocket (an enemy ape) a cookie.  Caesar, signing back: "Apes alone...weak."  He breaks a stick in half to illustrate his point.  Caesar continues: "Apes together...strong."  The two are then distracted by a childish fight that has broken out among the other apes.  Maurice, disgusted by their behavior, signs to Caesar: "Apes...stupid."

The apes are crossing the Golden Gate Bridge in an attempt to reach sanctuary in the redwood forest.  Jacobs, believing them to be dangerous, is bent on stopping them.  He hovers in a helicopter over the bridge, ordering officers to fire at Caesar, the leader of the apes.  A gorilla pushes Caesar aside, taking the bullets himself, and leaping onto the helicopter, causing it to crash into the bridge.  Caesar kneels over the dying gorilla, grieving over his pain and self-sacrifice.  The gorilla dies and Caesar sits stroking his chest.  Caesar hears a whispered groan from behind him, "Help me."  The plea is repeated, and Caesar's eyes narrow in anger.  Jacobs is trapped in the helicopter, which now dangles perilously over the water.  He reaches a shaking hand toward Caesar, begging for his help.  Caesar watches him coldly, clenching his fist.  He turns away, signaling to another monkey to hasten Jacobs' end.  Jacobs screams as the monkey pushes the helicopter off the bridge.
