ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Moriarty's henchmen are trying to stop Holmes from foiling their evil plot.  Holmes and the thugs engage in hand-to-hand combat until several police officers arrive on the scene.  Holmes is given a brief respite to think while Moriarty's men trick the officers into leaving.  While he thinks, he pictures his situation, taking into account every detail that he has so far observed about his adversaries.  He plans his escape, seeing the resulting scene play out in his head.  When the officers leave and the time comes to carry out his plan, Holmes is ready.  One of the thugs throws an apple into the air.  In the time it takes for the apple to fall, Holmes's plan has succeeded.  Holmes defeats each adversary just as he foresaw and finishes in time to catch the apple.

Irene has asked to meet her boss, the evil Moriarty, in a public place, knowing that her recent failure has displeased him.  Alerted to danger, she sits down and requests a fresh pot of tea to replace the one she was initially served.  Moriarty, hidden behind a curtain at the adjacent table, speaks while Irene sips her tea.  Moriarty: "Did you imagine, Miss Adler, that something would happen to you?  Is that why you chose to meet here, in a public place...your favorite restaurant?"  Moriarty sets down his pencil, a prearranged signal to his henchman.  His henchman, seated at another table, taps on his glass with his spoon.  At once, the dozens of people eating and serving in the restaurant leave the room.  Irene watches in amazement as they all file out, her surprise eventually giving way to fear.  Moriarty tells her of his displeasure and relieves her of her services.  As Irene begins to leave the restaurant, she leans for support on the edges of the tables, Moriarty's poison already coursing through her body.  While Moriarty calmly sips his tea, the sound of breaking dishes and Irene's groan let him know that his trap has succeeded.

Watson is driving a car when he can feel Holmes's eyes boring into him from the passenger seat.  Holmes sighs melodramatically.  Watson, irritated: "Why are you looking at me with such concern?"  Holmes, dripping sincerity: "I'm so very worried.  Your vitality's been drained from you."  Watson looks confused until his friend continues: "Marriage!  It's the end, I tell you."  (It is the eve of Watson's wedding and Holmes is making one final pitch to get his friend to reconsider.)  Watson, optimistically: "I think of it as the beginning."  Holmes counters: "Armageddon."  Watson, firmly: "Rebirth."  Holmes: "Restriction."  Watson: "Structure."  Holmes: "Answering to a woman."  Watson: "Being in a relationship.  A life in matrimony.  The possibility of a family.  Who wants to die alone?"  Holmes, full of self-pity: "So, we'll have a good, old-fashioned romp tonight, you'll settle down, and I'll die alone?"  Watson, lightly: "Yes, that's about it."  Holmes: "Perhaps it's better to die alone than live one's life in eternal purgatory."  Watson shakes his head, giving up on redeeming his friend's view of married life.

John and Mary Watson are on a train headed for their honeymoon.  Immersed in newly-married bliss, they accept gratefully when a porter arrives with a "gift" of champagne.  However, when the porter enters the carriage, the lights flicker out and the man uses the darkness to conceal his real gift:  a knife.  John deflects the attack just in time and the couple succeed in pushing the would-be murderer from the train.  John looks outside the carriage only to find that they have been accompanied on their honeymoon by a whole team of assassins.

Watson, Holmes, and Watson's new wife, Mary, are trapped in a train carriage, surrounded by enemies trying to kill them.  While Watson guards the door, Holmes turns to Mary: "Do you trust me?"  Mary: "No."  Holmes: "Well, then I shall have to do something about that."  Holmes unceremoniously pushes Mary off the speeding train and into the river below.  Watson, meanwhile, turns around to find his wife gone and Holmes acting defensive.  Holmes: "It had to be done.  She's safe now.  In my own defense, I timed it perfectly."  Watson dives for Holmes's throat.  The two men wrestle while Watson demands to know why Holmes pushed his wife off of a moving train.  Holmes: "I told you, I timed it perfectly!"  Watson, yelling: "What does that mean?"  A few moments later, armed gunmen burst into the carriage and point a rifle at the two men.  Holmes has a flashback which shows the events leading up to their current situation.  His intricate plan covered every detail, so that when the gunmen fire their rifle, it is not a bullet which shoots down the barrel, but an explosive.  The gunmen are killed and Holmes and Watson are safe.  Holmes, thrusting Watson off of himself after closing the door on the dead gunmen: "That was no accident!  It was by design.  So, do you need me to elaborate, or can we just crack on?"  (Caution: b-word used)

Watson and Holmes are on a train, being chased by Moriarty's men.  After leading Watson to a specific carriage, Holmes lies down on the floor and tells Watson to join him.  Watson, frustrated and confused, is reluctant to blindly obey: "Why?"  Holmes, pulling Watson down beside him: "I insist."  Holmes pulls out a cigar and begins to light it.  Watson: "What are we doing down here?"  Holmes: "We are waiting.  I am smoking."  After a few moments, their carriage is studded with bullets as Moriarty's men fire a powerful machine gun through the walls.  Safe, but trapped under the gunfire, Holmes continues: "Patiently waiting."  Watson: "For what?"  Holmes, handing Watson a small gun: "Your window of opportunity."  Inside Moriarty's gun, a dummy bullet placed earlier by Holmes enters the chamber, forcing the gun to stall.  In the provided moment, Watson stands and fires, winging one of the men.  The gunfire resumes.  Holmes, yelling above the sound of the gun: "How many windows must I provide?"

Holmes, Watson, and Simza are confronting Claude, knowing that he has been in league with the evil Moriarty.  Claude admits his complicity frankly: "I made a deal with the devil."  Claude tells how Moriarty insinuated himself into Claude's revolution with money and pretenses of sympathy.  Eventually, Moriarty gained control and forced Claude into carrying out his own evil plan.  Claude, feeling helpless, complied.  Simza begs Claude to reconsider: "Claude, please.  These men can help you."  Claude: "I wish they could."  Claude reveals that Moriarty has kidnapped his family and will hold them until Claude completes his mission.  Holmes promises to attend to their safety, but Claude feels he has no other way out than to follow Moriarty's instructions.  Claude: "We have a deal, he and I.  No loose ends.  There's only one thing I can do to keep my family safe."  Before they can stop him, Claude puts a gun to his head and pulls the trigger.

Watson, Holmes, and Simza are on a rooftop overlooking the site of a recent bombing.  They find a series of clues that reveals the truth of the motive behind the bombing:  it was done to conceal a murder.  Holmes, observing scrapes, scratches, marks, and bits of tobacco is able to reconstruct the killing and to discover the murderer's identity.

Watson, Holmes, Simza, and several friends have just escaped from a German military camp controlled by the evil Moriarty.  They run full-tilt through the forest, knowing their captors are in pursuit but also that a place of safety lies close ahead.  If they can make it to the train at the edge of the forest, they will be safe.  Slow-motion views show how close several of their party come to death.  A bullet grazes Watson's vest.  Artillery explodes just beside them.  Bullets hit the trees around them, sending wood splinters into the air.  Throughout the attack, the escapees continue running, focused on reaching their goal.  When the frustrated Germans pull out their big gun, capable of felling whole trees, the blast knocks Holmes's entire party to the ground.  After a few stunned moments, they arise, only to face a group of soldiers in hand-to-hand combat.  They succeed in defeating the soldiers just in time to hear the whistle of the oncoming train.

Watson and Simza prowl through the gathered ambassadors and political persons, looking for an assassin sent to start a world war.  While they investigate, Holmes and Moriarty play a game of chess outside.  The two great men, good and evil, enjoy the symbolism of their game as illustrative of the game playing out inside the building.  Each man has their own real-life pawn:  Holmes has Watson, and Moriarty has the assassin.  The men move their pieces across the chess board.  Back inside the party, Watson and Simza closely observe the six ambassadors, knowing one of them is Simza's brother (the assassin), disguised by surgery.  Using Simza's knowledge of her brother, they focus on the mannerisms, characteristics, and behaviors of the six men.  Watson knows their decision must be certain - - failure will cause a world war.  The chess clock ticks in the background, marking the seconds left until the assassination.  When Simza fails to make a positive identity, Watson makes a last, desperate attempt.  Knocking a tray of glasses out of a waiter's hand, he watches the reactions of the six ambassadors.  All but one man turn in surprise toward the sound.  The sixth, tense and focused on his own plan, is revealed to be the killer.  Simza confronts him, and the assassination is prevented.

Holmes and Moriarty are playing real-life chess.  Moriarty, who now controls a major supply of the world's guns, ammunition, and medical supplies, is attempting to start a world war.  Holmes has made it his mission to stop him.  They are attending a peace conference, playing a game of chess outside while their machinations play out inside the embassy.  When the sounds of a struggle from inside the building reach the ears of the two men, Moriarty knows his latest move has just hit home.  Gloating, he assures Holmes of his success.  Holmes acknowledges the minor victory, but believes the outcome is still in his favor: "A war has been averted."  Moriarty: "Oh, I disagree."  Holmes: "How so?"  Moriarty, a wicked glint in his eye, reminds Holmes that his warnings to the government fell on deaf ears.  Moriarty: "You see, hidden within the unconscious is an insatiable desire for conflict.  So, you're not fighting me as much as you are the human condition.  All I want to do is own the bullets and the bandages.  War on an industrial scale is inevitable.  They'll do it themselves within a few years.  All I have to do is wait."

Holmes has just defeated Moriarty's evil plan.  The two men face each other, Moriarty seething underneath with rage.  While assisting Holmes in lighting his pipe, Moriarty informs him with barely veiled threats that he intends on murdering Watson and his wife.  In the next moments, Holmes thinks through the outcome of a physical attack on Moriarty.  Due to Holmes's injured shoulder, both men know the inevitable outcome of such a plan.  Moriarty smiles confidently, assured of his triumph.  As Moriarty finishes lighting Holmes's pipe, the detective makes one final move intended to save his friend's life and end Moriarty's reign of terror.  Watson enters the balcony just in time to watch his best friend grab Moriarty in a bear hug and jump with him over the edge of the balustrade and into the canyon below.
