ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. __"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access.

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Meena imagines herself performing with Alfonso instead of her egotistical partner.


Johnny is a gifted singer but can’t really dance: a problem, with the show opening soon. He comes across a street dancer who agrees to help him out – but only if he proves himself to be legit.

Meena and the troupe are onstage, performing a song from their latest musical.  Meena, singing a peppy tune, while the rest of the performers dance around the stage and repeat after her: ♪ "We're all excited!  Don't know why.  Maybe it's 'cause…we're all gonna die!" ♪ The peppy, happy music suddenly cuts out.  All the lights turn off, revealing that the actors are wearing glow-in-the-dark skeleton costumes.  But, just as quickly, the lights come back up and the actors resume their dancing and peppy music: ♪ "When we do (die), what's it all for?  You better live now before the grim reaper comes knocking on your door!" ♪ The singers vow to not let the thought of death get them down.  And, indeed, they really only gave it a moment's thought.  Instead, they choose to "get crazy," "get nuts," and just enjoy life.

Buster runs after Suki as she starts to leave the theater, hoping to get the famous talent scout's opinion of his show.  Suki, barely looking up from her phone, tells him she's not staying for the second half.  Buster: "We thought you were enjoying it."  Suki, patronizingly: "It really is a cute little show."  Buster smiles proudly, missing the undertone.  Suki continues: "Just not what we're looking for."  Buster begs her to stay for the second half, but she refuses.  Suki: "Mr. Moon, can I be honest?"  Buster, wide-eyed and expectant: "Of course."  Suki, cynically: "Are you sure?  'Cause folks say that when they don't really mean it."  Buster: "Please, please.  Be as honest as you like."  Suki, bluntly: "You're not good enough."  She heads out the door, calling for a taxi.  Buster's face falls and his shoulders slump.  Suki: "You'd never make it in the big leagues."


Nana opens the desk drawer only to find a despondent Buster hiding in it.  Buster, sighing: "What can I say, Nana?  I'm a failure."  (Buster has just been rejected by a famous talent scout.  See clip # CV11117)  Nana: "Poppycock.  Honestly, one negative comment and it's all, 'Woe is me.'"  Buster: "She said I'm not good enough.  I've just been told that my destiny, all of my hopes and dreams, they all end right here."  But Nana sees the struggle as a natural part of success and not a guarantee of failure.  Nana: "Anyone who dares set out to follow their dreams is bound to face a lot worse.  Never mind what this person you don't even know said.  Do you think you're good enough?"  Buster: "Of course!"  Nana: "Then you must fight for what you believe in.  Guts...stamina...faith.  These are the things you need now, and without them, well, maybe that scout was right.  Maybe you're not good enough."


The group disguises themselves as janitors to infiltrate Crystal Entertainment for an audition.


Buster needs to leave the studio on urgent business.  He looks at Miss Crawly: "Miss Crawly, I need you to take charge while I'm away."  Miss Crawly, a kindly elderly lady who is always eager to please: "Yes, sir."  Buster takes her trembling hand and looks into her eyes: "You got to bring your 'A' game here, Miss Crawly.  I'm serious.  You gotta be tough!"  Miss Crawly, repeating in her sweet, high-pitched voice: "Yes, I gotta be tough."  Buster: "You got to be firm!"  Miss Crawly: "Ooh.  And I gotta be firm."  Buster, even more intensely: "And you cannot, I repeat, cannot, let production fall behind, not one little bit!"  Miss Crawly, determined not to let him down, transforms herself into a drill sergeant.  Carrying a bullhorn, she uses a mechanical lift to move around the studio.  Raising the platform until she's even with Mason, who is working on the set, Miss Crawly barks into the bullhorn, telling him his project should have been finished the day before.  Mason: "We're on it, Miss Crawly!"  Miss Crawly: "You better be!"  Driving the lift toward the stage, Miss Crawly aims her bullhorn at Meena: "Take it from the top!  And, this time, put a little juice in it, will ya?"  Meena, meekly: "I'm trying my best, Miss Crawly."  Just then, Porsha enters the studio, her arms filled with shopping bags.  She casually strides in, sipping on a slushie.  Miss Crawly stops the lift in its tracks, yelling at Porsha: "You're two hours late for rehearsal!"  Porsha, confused, asks Miss Crawly who she is.  Miss Crawly: "I'm in charge, that's who!  Now, get your tail to wardrobe, sweetheart!"


Johnny is onstage, performing his big song and dance number.  He plays the piano, singing: ♪ "I don't care if you tear me apart.  I don't care if you do." ♪ He looks offstage, where his disapproving dance instructor (see clip # CV11121) shakes his head and scowls.  Johnny looks disheartened, but continues with the performance.  He moves out to the front of the stage and begins to dance.  The crowd cheers loudly as Johnny break dances skillfully.  Angry and jealous, Klaus the dance instructor takes the costume of another performer and enters the stage.  Johnny is startled to see him there, but he continues with the routine.  Klaus smiles wickedly, doing everything he can to intimidate Johnny.  When he fails to make him miss a step, Klaus uses his stick to trip Johnny, sending him to the floor.  He looms over him, his stick digging into Johnny's chest: "You see?  You will never be great, Johnny."  Johnny, believing him, gives up.  Off stage, Johnny's friends begin drumming a loud beat.  Their support inspires Johnny to stand up and resume the dance. ♪ "I don't care if you tear me apart!  I don't care if you do!" ♪ Quicker than ever, Johnny dances incredibly.  He dances circles around Klaus, who drops to a knee and bows his head, admitting defeat.  The crowd roars its approval.  Klaus smiles at Johnny for the first time ever.


Rosita is hooked into her harness for the trial run of her new act.  As she struts down the catwalk, high above the stage, she begins singing her song.  Below, her several dozen children are watching excitedly.  But, when Rosita reaches the edge of the platform, where she is supposed to dive off and fly around with the aid of the harness and ropes, she freezes.  She looks down at the stage, which suddenly seems so far away, and her breath quickens.  The music stops as Rosita collapses onto the platform.  When Buster is informed of Rosita's "freak-out," he races up to the catwalk, sure she will come around: "Believe me, there's nothing Rosita can't do!"  But when he arrives at the platform, he finds Rosita huddled against the railings, clutching the bars as if her life depended on it.  Rosita: "I can't do this."  She can't understand why fear has suddenly overpowered her: "I've never been afraid in my whole life before, but...I don't know what happened to me.  Did my kids see that?"


Klaus frowns as Johnny enters his dance class late.  Although Johnny apologizes, the strict maestro makes a sarcastic comment.  Johnny, hurt: "Why do you have to be so mean all the time?"  Klaus, striking a nearby dancer with his stick: "'Cause only when we suffer can we be great!"  He brusquely orders everyone to their places, commanding Johnny to show them his part: "Let's see if little Johnny has learned the steps."  Johnny nervously takes his place in the dance.  He stumbles, apologizing.  Klaus, glaring, raps him with his stick: "Wrong!"  Johnny tries the move again, but falls to the floor.  Klaus, groaning: "So bad!  Again!"  Johnny tries, but is not good enough for Klaus, who smacks him in the face with his stick.  Klaus: "Again!"  Johnny makes an awkward effort.  Klaus: "Yuck!  Again!"  Johnny again falls.  Klaus, furious: "Come on!"  Johnny runs out of the studio at the end of practice, unable to face any more of his tormentor.  He looks down at his hands.  They are trembling with fright.


Miss Crawley searches for Clay Calloway, but when she discovers his secluded sanctuary, she is anything but welcome!


Ash and Buster have come to try to convince Clay to sing again.  (The superstar performer hasn't sung since the death of his wife.)  Ash: "This is all because you lost your wife, isn't it?"  Clay refuses to talk about his wife, telling Ash that Ruby had been the inspiration for all of his music.  Ash: "I can't imagine what it must be like to lose someone so special.  But, do you think this is what Ruby would have wanted for you?  You, out here, on your own and never singing again?"  Clay: "You don't understand.  There's no rock star living here anymore."  Ash: "You just need to play again.  Your songs will bring you back."  Clay, furiously: "I haven't even heard one of my songs in over fifteen years!  And for good reason.  Ruby was everything!"  Clay walks away.


Rosita has reached the part of her performance where she must dive off the platform and sail over the stage with nothing but a rope and harness holding her in the air.  Singing, she walks to the edge of the platform, where she freezes.  Terrified, she backs away, returning to the spaceship.  Gunter: "Rosita, you've got to jump."  But Rosita is too scared to move.  Just then, Mr. Crystal grabs Buster and takes him to the top of the catwalk.  Furious that Buster has defied him, the megalomaniac throws Buster over the edge.  As Buster falls toward the stage, Rosita knows what she has to do.  Without a second thought, she runs to the edge of the catwalk and dives off.  She catches Buster in midair and sets him safely on the ground, overcoming her fear to save her friend.


Porsche sings "Could Have Been Me," and at the same time takes a stand against her father.


During production on the show, a lead develops a fear of heights during rehearsal. Looking for a replacement, the Producer’s daughter Porsha suddenly shows up and fulfills her dream of swinging and singing!

Buster excitedly peeks out from behind the backstage curtain at the wolf in a dark suit: "That is THE Mr. Crystal."  Mr. Crystal sits beside a large red button and watches the hopeful performers as they try out for a place in his studio.  Mr. Crystal shakes his head, muttering, "Garbage," before pressing the red button.  A red light and loud buzzer signal to the performers that they have been rejected.  Act after act performs for Mr. Crystal.  Magicians, singers, actors, gymnasts, and performers of every kind are judged and found wanting by the cynical producer.  Some are allowed to sing several bars before the red button signals their doom.  Others barely open their mouths before they have to leave the stage.  One-by-one, Mr. Crystal rejects them all.
