ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

Star Wars: Episode 6 - Return of the Jedi

Leia has just learned the truth about her family (see previous clip).  Han, as Luke walks away: "Hey, what's going on?"  Leia, confused and emotionally raw: "Nothing.  I-I just want to be alone for a little while."  Han, persistently: "Nothing?  Come on.  Tell me.  What's going on?"  Leia: "I...I can't tell you."  Han, jealous: "Could you tell Luke?  Is that who you could tell?"  Leia tries to respond, but is unable to find the words and turns away, hurt.  Han, frustrated, gives a dismissive wave and begins to walk away.  Hearing Leia sob, he stops.  Han, humbly returning to Leia: "I'm sorry."  Leia, embracing Han: "Hold me..."  


Carrie Fisher

After first refusing to fight his father (Darth Vader) but then defeating him, Luke also refuses the Emperor's proposal to take his father's place by his side.  Unhappy, the Emperor tells Luke that if he will not be turned, he must be destroyed. The Emperor begins torturing Luke with Force lightening as Vader watches. Luke screams in pain, begging his father for help, as the Emperor tells Luke it's time to die. Vader, however, after watching his son suffer and approach death, springs into action, grabs the Emperor and throws him down a reactor shaft to his death(?)!


Lando Calrissian and Han Solo have both signed up to command dangerous missions.  Lando will be leading the space assault on the new Death Star.  Han, walking with Lando: "Look, I want you to take her.  I mean it.  Take her.  You need all the help you can get.  She's the fastest ship in the fleet."  Lando, laughing at his friend's insistence: "Alright, old buddy.  You know, I know what she means to you.  I'll take good care of her.  She won't get a scratch.  All right?"  Han, turning to leave: "Right."  then turning back around, "I got your promise, now.  Not a scratch."  Lando, laughing: "Would you get going, you pirate," while returning a salute to his friend, "Good luck."  Han: "You too."

Darth Vader has arrived to check on the construction progress of the new Death Star.  Commander: "Lord Vader, this is an unexpected pleasure.  We're honored by your presence."  Vader, displeased: "You may dispense with the pleasantries, Commander.  I'm here to put you back on schedule."  Commander, defensively: "I assure you, Lord Vader, my men are working as fast as they can."  Vader: "Perhaps I can find new ways to motivate them."  Commander: "I tell you this station will be operational as planned."  Vader, shaking his finger at the commander: "The emperor does not share your optimistic appraisal of the situation."  Commander, fearful: "But he asks the impossible.  I need more men."  Vader, unsympathetic to the Commander's needs: "Then perhaps you can tell him when he arrives."  Commander, surprised: "The emperor's coming here?"  Vader: "That is correct, Commander.  And he is most displeased with your apparent lack of progress."  Commander, newly motivated: "We shall double our efforts."  Vader, threateningly: "I hope so, Commander, for your sake.  The emperor is not as forgiving as I am."    


Having been made members of the Ewok tribe, most of the rebels are celebrating.  Luke, however, is off by himself.  Leia, seeing Luke alone: "Luke, what's wrong?"  Luke, turning around: "Leia, do you remember your mother?  Your real mother?"  Leia: "Just a little bit.  She died when I was very young."  Luke: "What do you remember?"  Leia: "Just images, really.  Feelings."  Luke: "Tell me."  Leia: "She was very beautiful.  Kind...but sad.  Why are you asking me this?"  Luke, deep in thought: "I have no memory of my mother.  I never knew her."  Leia, concerned by Luke's odd behavior: "Luke, tell me what's troubling you?"  Luke: "Vader is here.  Now.  On this moon."  Leia: "How do you know?"  Luke: "I felt his presence.  He's come for me.  He can feel when I'm near.  That's why I have to go.  As long as I stay I'm endangering the group and our mission here.  I have to face him."  Leia, disgusted by such an idea: "Why?"  Luke, after a long pause: "He's my father."  Leia: "Your father?"  Luke: "There's more.  It won't be easy for you to hear it, but you must.  If I don't make it back you're the only hope for the Alliance."  Leia: "Luke, don't talk that way.  You have a power I don't understand and could never have."  Luke: "You're wrong, Leia.  You have that power too.  In time, you'll learn to use it as I have.  The Force is strong in my family.  My father has it.  I have it.  And...my sister has it..." as a look of understanding dawns on Leia's face. "Yes.  It's you, Leia."  Leia: "I know.  Somehow...I've always known."  Luke: "Then you know why I have to face him."  Leia, adamant: "No!  Luke, run away.  Far away!  If he can feel your presence then leave this place.  I wish I could go with you."  Luke: "No, you don't.  You've always been strong."  Leia, starting to break down: "But why must you confront him?"  Luke, passionately: "Because...there is good in him.  I've felt it.  He won't turn me over to the Emperor.  I can save him.  I can turn him back to the good side.  I have to try."  Leaning in, Luke kisses Leia on the cheek and walks away.

The Emperor has arrived at the new Death Star to check on the progress of it's construction.  Emperor, addressing the kneeling Darth Vader: "Rise, my friend."  Vader, standing and walking with the emperor: "The Death Star will be completed on schedule."  Emperor: "You have done well, Lord Vader.  And now I sense you wish to continue your search for young Skywalker."  Vader: "Yes, my master."  Emperor: "Patience, my friend.  In time, he will seek you out.  And when he does, you must bring him before me.  He has grown strong.  Only together can we turn him to the dark side of the Force."  Vader: "As you wish."  Emperor, pleased with the progress of his evil plans, laughing maniacally: "Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen."


Luke, having surrendered to Imperial soldiers, has been brought before Darth Vader.  Vader: "The Emperor has been expecting you."  Luke: "I know, Father."  Vader: "So, you have accepted the truth."  Luke: "I've accepted the truth that you were once Anakin Skywalker, my father."  Vader, sharply: "That name no longer has any meaning for me."  Luke, desperate for his father's repentance: "It is the name of your true self.  You've only forgotten.  I know there is good in you.  The Emperor hasn't driven it from you fully.  That was why you couldn't destroy me.  That's why you won't bring me to your Emperor now."  Vader, examining Luke's confiscated lightsaber: "I see you have constructed a new lightsaber.  Your skills are complete.  Indeed, you are powerful as the Emperor has foreseen."  Luke: "Come with me."  Vader, conflicted: "Obi-Wan once thought as you do.  You don't know the power of the dark side.  I MUST obey my master."  Luke, resolutely: "I will not turn, and you'll be forced to kill me."  Vader: "If that is your destiny."  Luke, still not giving up: "Search your feelings, Father.  You can't do this.  I feel the conflict within you.  Let go of your hate."  Vader, sadly: "It is...too late for me, son..." while waving for some guards, "the Emperor will show you the true nature of the Force.  He is your master now."  Luke, while being escorted away: "Then my father is truly dead."   


Darth Vader brings Luke before the dark Emperor who taunts Luke to give in to his anger and turn closer to the dark side, which he does.

After the Death Star explodes the Rebels can finally can celebrate freedom! On Endor, Luke cremates his father's body on a pyre and reunites with sister Leia and his friends. As the Rebels and the galaxy celebrate the Empire's defeat (including the annoying Ewoks), Luke sees the spirits of Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Anakin watching over him.

Luke Skywalker, having returned to Dagobah to finish his Jedi training, has found his teacher sick and near death (see previous clip).  Luke: "Master Yoda…is Darth Vader my father?"  Yoda, trying to ignore the question: "Rest I need.  Yes.  Rest."  Luke, persistently: "Yoda, I must know."  Yoda: "Your father he is.  Told you, did he?"  Luke, stunned: "Yes."  Yoda: "Unexpected this is.  And unfortunate."  Luke: "Unfortunate that I know the truth?"  Yoda: "No.  Unfortunate that you rushed to face him, that incomplete was your training, that not ready for the burden were you."  Luke, humbly: "I'm sorry."  Yoda, struggling to stay alive long enough to impart some final teaching: "Remember, a Jedi's strength flows from the Force.  But beware.  Anger, fear, aggression, the dark side are they.  Once you start down the dark path forever will it dominate your destiny.  Luke...Luke...do not underestimate the powers of the emperor, or suffer your father's fate you will.  Luke...when gone am I, the last of the Jedi will you be.  Luke...the Force runs strong in your family.  Pass on what you have learned." with his final breath, "Luke...there is...another...Sky...walker."

Han Solo is frozen in carbonite in Jabba the Hutt's palace. Princess Leia, in disguise, sneaks in and frees Han from his cryogenic prison.


Luke has just received confirmation that his nemesis, Darth Vader, is actually his father (see previous clip).  This dark news coupled with the death of his teacher, Master Yoda, has left Luke in despair.  Luke, talking with R2D2, his droid: "I can't do it, R2."  R2 beeps and whistles in response.  Luke: "I can't go on alone."  The ghost-like figure of Luke's first mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi suddenly appears to offer encouragement: "Yoda will always be with you."  Luke, surprised by his appearance and frustrated by Obi-Wan's manipulation of the truth: "Obi-Wan.  Why didn't you tell me?  You told me Vader betrayed and murdered my father."  Obi-Wan: "Your father was seduced by the dark side of the Force.  He ceased to be Anakin Skywalker and became Darth Vader.  When that happened, the good man who was your father was destroyed.  So, what I told you was true, from a certain point of view."  Luke, unappeased by Obi-Wan's explanation: "'A certain point of view?'"  Obi-Wan: "Luke, you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view.  Anakin was a good friend.  When I first knew him, your father was already a great pilot, but I was amazed how strongly the Force was with him.  I took it upon myself to train him as a Jedi.  I thought that I could instruct him just as well as Yoda.  I was wrong."  Luke: "There is still good in him."  Obi-Wan, disagreeing: "He's more machine now than man, twisted and evil."  Luke: "I can't do it, Ben."  Obi-Wan: "You cannot escape your destiny.  You must face Darth Vader again."  Luke: "I can't kill my own father."  Obi-Wan, troubled: "Then the emperor has already won.  You were our only hope."  Luke: "Yoda spoke of another."  Obi-Wan: "The other he spoke of is your twin sister."  Luke, confused: "But I have no sister."  Obi-Wan: "To protect you both from the emperor you were hidden from your father when you were born.  The emperor knew, as I did, if Anakin were to have any offspring they would be a threat to him.  That is the reason why your sister remains safely anonymous."  Luke, guessing correctly: "Leia!  Leia's my sister."  Obi-Wan: "Your insight serves you well.  Bury your feelings deep down, Luke.  They do you credit, but they could be made to serve the emperor."

Luke has returned to Dagobah to finish his Jedi training with Master Yoda.  Yoda, hobbling: "That face you make.  Look I so old to young eyes?"  Luke, lying: "No.  Of course not."  Yoda, coughing: "I do.  Yes, I do.  Sick have I become.  Old and weak.  When 900 years old you reach, look as good you will not, hmmm?"  As the sickly Jedi Master hobbles over to his bed, coughing and laughing at his own joke, he continues: "Soon will I rest.  Yes, forever sleep.  Earned it I have."  Luke, not pleased his master's bleak outlook: "Master Yoda, you can't die."  Yoda: "Strong am I with the Force, but not that strong.  Twilight is upon me, and soon night must fall.  That is the way of things.  The way of the Force."  Luke: "But I need your help.  I've come back to complete the training."  Yoda, lying on his bed, eyes almost closed: "No more training do you require.  Already know you that which you need."  Luke: "Then I am a Jedi."  Yoda, coughing and sputtering: "Oh.  Not yet.  One thing remains.  Vader.  You must confront Vader.  Then, only then, a Jedi will you be.  And confront him you will."  


Darth Vader, believing he has felt the presence of his son, has come before the Emperor to inform him of the situation.  Emperor, displeased: "I told you to remain on the command ship."  Vader: "A small rebel force has penetrated the shield and landed on Endor."  Emperor, unsurprised, turning his throne to face Vader: "Yes, I know."  Vader: "My son is with them."  Emperor: "Are you sure?"  Vader, confident: "I have felt him, my master."  Emperor: "Strange that I have not.  I wonder if your feelings on this matter are clear, Lord Vader."  Vader: "They are clear, my master."  Emperor: "Then you must go to the sanctuary moon and wait for him."  Vader: "He will come to me?"  Emperor: "I have foreseen it.  His compassion for you will be his undoing.  He will come to you, and then you will bring him before me."  Vader, bowing: "As you wish."
